Xiaomi is set to introduce its most powerful smartphone in the Redmi Note 12 lineup next week – the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. The Chinese phone manufacturer is expected to launch the handset in China on March 28th, and the company has already teased some of its key features.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo will feature a 6.67-inch 12-bit OLED display with 1920Hz pulse width modulation (PWM) dimming, HDR10+ support and a centre-aligned hole-punch cutout to house the selfie camera. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC and will come with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
In terms of optics, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will sport a triple rear camera setup, including a 6-megapixel primary camera. It will also have NFC support that will work with campus and transportation cards for ten colleges and universities across China. As for battery life, the 5,000mAh battery on the phone is expected to provide “1.33 days” of battery life. The handset will have a thickness of 7.9mm and will weigh 181g.
