In another comment, Disney asked for 640 Kbps audio bitrate to bring every content in regional languages like Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu. Mandalion is in 5.1, but it has 192 kbps audio bitrate. By comparison with Netflix and Amazon, they both deliver content in Dolby 5.1 surround sound with 640 kbps of audio bitrate. Disney + Marvel will bring together Cinematic Universe content that was already very popular in India, Disney, Pixar, National Geographic and the Star Wars franchise. Marvel Studios – The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Vandavision, The Lion King, and the upcoming series of Loki, which will soon be released on Disney +. In addition to popular TV shows and films, Disney + will include the original series The Mandalorian, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series in the Series.
Interestingly, all the films and shows on Disney + will be dubbed in Indian languages including Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. Subtitles will also be added in these languages. Hotstar has also revealed that they are doing interesting work like Dolby Atmos Sound Support.
Many Bollywood actors such as Shahid Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Varun Dhawan, Parineeti Chopra, among others, took to social media to announce the launch of Disney + in India. Celebs will also attend the Disney + Hotstar red carpet premiere.
Disney + Hotstar will face stiff competition from Netflix and Amazon Prime who are currently ruling Roast in India. There are other local streaming apps in India including ALT Balaji and Zee5 which are equally popular.

Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription plan will be priced at Rs 399 per year while the Disney+ Hotstar Premium subscription will cost Rs 1,499 per year.
