According to a Mint report , the Arogya Setu app may soon be installed on the new phone by default, citing two sources familiar with the matter. The government reportedly had already asked smartphone manufacturers to ship their phones with the COVID-19 tracking app, but manufacturing operations were halted due to an already ongoing health crisis, but it did not materialize.
