WhatsApp will open with Fingerprint, new feature coming up

WhatsApp will open from your Fingerprint (fingerprints). Someone else will not be able to open your WhatsApp. There is a new feature coming soon in WhatsApp. According to WABetaInfo, which tracks the new features of WhatsApp, Android users will soon be getting the new WhatsApp fingerprint authentication option, which will increase its security. In addition, users’ chats will also be fully protected. That is, someone else will not be able to read their chat.

Fingerprint Authentication feature showing in new updates
According to the WABetaInfo report, the Messaging app has rolled out the Whatsapp beta for Android 2.19.3 update, in which the new fingerprint authentication feature is shown for Android users. The report says that after working on Face ID and Touch ID integration for iOS, the app has started working on WhatsApp fingerprint authentication for Android users.

WhatsApp will be a new section
The report says that there will be a new section in WhatsApp, which will have the option of enabling fingerprint authentication feature. This feature will work just like iOS and will be made available in Apple’s operating system. This means that security for WhatsApp users has been increased and users should use their fingerprint every time they open the app.

This feature is in alpha stage of development
It also states that if WhatsApp can not detect your fingerprint, you will be able to open the app using your phone’s credentials. At the moment, WhatsApp’s new feature is in the alpha stage of development, and it will be made available to all Android users and Android Marshmallow above it. For Android 2.19.3 update, new WhatsApp beta will come with a better audio picker, allowing users to preview it before sending audio files.
