Jeep India said on Thursday that the company has entered the Certified Used Car business with ‘Selected for You’. On the lines of Maruti Suzuki’s ‘True Value’ and Toyota’s ‘U Trust’ Jeep’s selected Four U will also accept cars of every brand, instead of which a new or second hand Jeep vehicle can be purchased. The company started its pilot operations in Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad in 2019. It is currently available at 42 dealerships of the company and by August 2020, this facility will be available to 65 dealerships. Jeep has also prepared a dedicated site for this.
Jeep said that the used compass models sold through this program will undergo a 125-points inspection check with complete verification of the previous owner. Before selling it, the condition of the vehicle will be checked and maintained on the service record. The SUV will be offered a 36-month or 60,000 km warranty whichever comes first. Apart from this, 24×7 roadside assistant facility will also be provided which is specially provided with the new car. Currently, this feature is being introduced with the compass, in the future, other models of Jeep will also be added to this program.
