MG Motors has launched its second SUV MG ZS EV in the Indian market after the success of Hector. This is an all a electric car, which has been launched in Excite and Exclusive variants. Customers who had pre-booking it are being given a discount of one lakh on the price of the car. Here we are talking about the price and specification of both variants.
The engine is the same in both variants
This electric car is equipped with 44.5kWh liquid-cooled batteries and electric motors. Which generates the power of 143hp and torque of 353Nm. The power generated by the motor goes to the front wheel. It comes with a single-speed automatic gearbox. MG’s 50kW DC fast charger can charge its battery from 0 to 80 percent in just 50 minutes. At the same time, it will be fully charged in 6 to 8 hours with a normal 7.4kW AC charger. Its range is 340 km after a full charge. The company claims that it will cost just 1 rupee per kilometer.
