Tata Motors has launched a ‘Key to Safety’ scheme to encourage customers. The scheme includes long-term (up to eight years) loans, 100 percent on-road price financing, easy EMI payments and re-financing. Apart from this, Kovid-19 is also offering a special offer of about 45,000 rupees tax on the entire line-up to thank and support the Warriors (doctors, health-care professionals and police). Offers include Tata Nexon facelift, Harrier, Tiago and Tigor excluding Ultros. They are getting a discount of up to 40 thousand rupees.

The offer can be availed through the company’s ‘Click to Drive’ digital sales platform or by visiting select dealerships, which have been opened after the lockdown exemption in some states. For other buyers, Tata Motors has officially instructed dealerships in the Green and Orange zones to offer benefits and discounts on Harrier SUVs, Tiago hatchbacks and Tigor compact sedans. These offers can also be obtained through Tata’s recently launched online sales platform. The company says that these offers can be different in different cities, so take clear information about the discount from the local dealership.

Tata Tigor (Compact sedan)

The BS6 Tigor is powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine of 86 horsepower. It has manual and automatic gearbox options available. It has also been seen as a value for money car. In the market it competes with Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire, Honda Amaze, Hyundai Aura and Ford Aspire. In May 2020, the company is offering 40 thousand rupees benefits and discounts on this compact sedan, which includes cash discount and exchange bonus.

Tata Harrier (SUV)

Savings of up to 30 thousand rupees

The company has recently launched the new BS6 Tata Harrier. The BS6 is the most powerful 170 horsepower 2.0 liter diesel engine in the updated Tata Harrier. It has a 6-speed automatic transmission option available. Its competition in the market is from MG Hector, Kia Celtos and Hyundai Creta. This month, all variants of Harrier are getting 30 thousand rupees benefits, including exchange bonus.

Tata Tiago (hatchback)

Like the Tigor, it has a 86 horsepower BS6 1.2 liter petrol engine. It has 5 speed manual and automatic gearbox option available. It has got a 4 star safety rating in the global NCAP test. In the market it competes with Hyundai Centro and Suzuki Wagon-R. The company is offering 25 thousand rupees benefits on Tiago this month, which includes cash discounts and exchange bonus. Under the ‘Key-to-Safety’ scheme, customers are offering customized EMI plans for up to 6 months, starting at Rs 5000 per month.
