Xiaomi had announced its new MIUI 10 software in June. The company has tested it for some time in beta and its stable version rollout is being done for the last few months. Recently, the Redmi Redmi 3S, Redmi 3S Prime, Redmi 4, Redmi 4A, Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro got MIUI 10 stable updates. Now, in India, the Redmi Note 3 users have reported that MIUI 10 STABLE updates are also available on their device.
Redmi Note 3 users have informed on the forum that they have started getting MIUI 10 stable updates. Users have shared screenshots related to updates. The version of update available for Redmi Note 3 users is MIUI 10.1.1.0.MHOMIFI, which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. These updates also include the July security patches and screenshots show that the new update size is 261 MB.
According to the MIUI 10 stable changelog in the screenshot, the camera is optimized in the phone with new updates. While the XXL text size option has also been made available. Gridlines have also been fixed in fullscreen. The settings menu with the new design is also optimized. Home screen shortcuts have also been added to the phone. In addition, the problem related to the notification is also eliminated, when the recordings were paused, the recording status was not visible in the notification.
These updates are being rolled over-the-air (OTA) and it may take some time for all users to get the latest version. Updates can be checked manually by going to Settings> About phone> System updates> Check for updates. We recommend that you back up your data before updating the phone.
