Xiaomi is known to give quick updates to its phones. Recently, the company started updating the latest MIUI 10 to many of its smartphones. These include Redmi 5 and 5A. Now the company has announced that the company will not update the MIUI for its Redmi Mi 5, M4 and Redmi Note 3 Pro in China. This means that these handsets will no longer get the latest MIUI 10 update.
The company reported this on the Xiaomi Forum. The company has not clarified any reason behind this. The company wrote in a post that
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro / Note 3, M5, M4, M4C, M4S will not get further updates of the MIUI. This decision is also shocking because the company has given new updates to its phones more than 5 years old. Well, the company started updating the MIUI 10 updates to many of its smartphones. This update is given in two batches. The first batch included M8 SE, Mi Mix 2, Mi Mix, Redmi 6 Pro, Redmi Note 5 handsets.
After this, the company also updated the latest 21 other phones. These include Max 2, M4, Redmi Note 4, Redmi Note 5A, Redmi 5 Plus and Redmi 4X.
