Realme Watch is coming soon as the Chinese company has started teasing its imminent arrival. The new development comes only days after some renders of Realme Watch surfaced online. The smartwatch is rumored to be IP68-certified with a dust and water resistance by the Chinese company and includes a 1.4-inch display. Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India, told Gadgets 360 earlier this year that the company plans to enter the smartwatch market this year. The Realme Watch will sit alongside the company’s existing fitness-tracking Realme Band.
Twitter has shared a teaser video posted by the official Realme link handle which highlights the impending launch of Realme Watch. The video is also shared separately by Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India. The executive also asked TwitterMate at its imminent launch, “Our next AIOT [Artificial Intelligence of Things] product is on the way?”
According to the teaser video, Realme Watch will come with a square-shaped curved display. The video also confirms that the smartwatch will be called Realme Watch.
This is not the first time Realme has teased its smartwatch. Sheth was seen wearing a Realme Watch in a recent episode of the #AskMadhav session on YouTube. The executive was also apparently wearing the same smartwatch when hosting the launch of Realme Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A earlier this week. In addition, the smartwatch worn by executives was similar to what they saw in the recently leaked render.
While speaking with Gadgets 360 in March, Sheth hinted at the launch of various new audio devices, wearables and smart TVs as well as Realme Watch.

The Realme Watch is rumored to have a 1.4-inch TFT display with 320 × 320 pixel resolution. It can offer 24-hour heart rate monitoring and includes a 160mAh battery. In addition, the smartwatch is said to run on an IP68-certified build and proprietary operating system. It is also claimed to provide up to seven days of battery life on a single charge, using heart rate monitoring on a daily basis.
