Everything You Need to Know About the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro India Launch at the End of April

It looks like India is all set to receive the Vivo X90 series soon as the Chinese smartphone brand is planning to launch the X90 and X90 Pro models in the country later this month. According to reliable tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz), Vivo is expected to tease the Indian arrival of the X90 lineup soon after the launch of the Vivo T2 5G series that is scheduled to take place on April 11.

The Vivo X90 and X90 Pro were first unveiled in China in November 2020 and then made their global debut in Malaysia in February. Both the phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC and feature Zeiss-branded triple rear cameras. The X90 and X90 Pro come in a single 12GB RAM+ 256GB storage variant with price tags of MYR 3,699 (roughly Rs. 71,600) and MYR 4,999 (roughly Rs. 96,800), respectively.

As of now, there is no information about the pricing and availability of the Vivo X90 series in India. However, it is expected that the brand will soon officially confirm the launch date and availability details in the coming weeks. Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro specifications

The Vivo X90 and X90 Pro are the latest smartphones from Vivo that are designed to provide a premium user experience. Featuring the latest Android 13 based Funtouch OS 13 platform, the two Vivo devices come with a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,260x 2,800 pixels) AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC and the Vivo V2 chip for image processing, the phones offer a smooth performance.

For photography, the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro come with triple rear cameras. The Vivo X90 packs a 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 primary sensor, a 12-megapixel portrait camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The X90 Pro, on the other hand, features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 1-inch primary sensor, a 50-megapixel 50mm IMX758 sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. Both phones also have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.

In terms of battery life, the Vivo X90 is backed by a 4,810mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The Pro model, on the other hand, has a 4,870mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. Both devices are equipped with a range of other features such as NFC, an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual-band Wi-Fi and more.
