India’s first state to start commercial drone delivery will be Telangana

Telangana is going to create the first state of India to start the drone delivery service. On Thursday, an official said that Telangana has demanded Civil Aviation Regulatory Certificates for the Beyond Visual Line of Insight (BVLOS) drone operation. Apart from government companies, three private drone companies Terra Drone India, Zipline, and Marut Drone have sent a proposal to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to pursue this campaign.

Drugs to be delivered from medicines

  • State Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Department of Telangana soon seeks to acquire Beyond Visual Line of Insight (BVLOS) compilation geography. In this case, it has become India’s first state to support commercial drone delivery.
  • Jayesh Ranjan, Chief Secretary, Industries, Commerce and ITe, and C, says that if the BSLOS operation is conducted in consultation with law and security agencies, then it will be better for drone delivery. He further said that incorporating this technique into admission and governance would have a positive effect on the lives of millions of people.
  • Medical product delivery company Zipline has also joined hands with the state government, which will bring blood and medicines to health care centers with the help of drones in the emergency. This will be the first time in India.
  • The ITE and C department has worked on several drone-related pilot projects several times in the past, drone has been used to distribute goods to the needy during spraying and flooding. At the moment, Telangana is in the last phase of making the drone city, where efforts are being made to implement the remotely piloted aircraft system.
