Infinix is gearing up to make a splash in the tablet market with the upcoming launch of its first-ever tablet, the Infinix Xpad. The Transsion Holdings subsidiary has teased several details about the new Android tablet, hinting at an impressive array of features and competitive pricing. With the Nigerian arm of Infinix confirming some key specifications and offline retailers reportedly receiving the device, the Infinix Xpad is creating quite a buzz ahead of its official release.
Infinix Xpad: What We Know So Far
The Infinix Xpad will sport an 11-inch full-HD (1,200×1,920 pixels) display, offering a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gaming. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, known for delivering reliable performance in mid-range devices. This setup is paired with either 4GB or 8GB of RAM, depending on the variant, and both models will feature 256GB of onboard storage, providing ample space for apps, media, and documents.
Infinix has also integrated AI into the Xpad, featuring the Folax voice assistant with ChatGPT capabilities, making it easier for users to manage tasks, find information, and stay organized. The tablet will deliver an immersive audio experience with its quad-speaker unit offering stereo sound, perfect for media consumption.
Pricing and Availability
While Infinix’s official website hasn’t yet disclosed pricing and availability details, the Xpad is reportedly available through offline stores in Nigeria. The pricing is tipped to be NGN 2,51,800 (roughly Rs. 13,500) for the 4GB RAM + 256GB storage model and NGN 2,83,800 (roughly Rs. 15,000) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The tablet is expected to launch in three colors—black, blue, and gold—catering to different style preferences.

Infinix’s Expanding Portfolio
The launch of the Infinix Xpad marks another step in the company’s efforts to diversify its product offerings. Following the release of the Infinix GT Book, the company’s first gaming laptop, in India earlier this year, Infinix continues to expand beyond smartphones. The brand already boasts a range of products including smart TVs and accessories, and the Xpad is a testament to its commitment to delivering versatile tech solutions to its customers.
As the Infinix Xpad prepares to make its official debut, the tablet market is set to get a new competitor with an attractive price-to-performance ratio. With features like a large 11-inch display, AI-driven Folax assistant, and solid internal specs, the Xpad could be a strong contender in its segment. Keep an eye out for the official launch and detailed reviews as Infinix continues to innovate and expand its reach.
