HUAWEI has silently introduced the HUAWEI Band 8 in India, marking its return to the fitness tracker market after a significant gap. The Band 8 arrives a year after its initial release in China, following the launch of the Band 6 in 2021. Interestingly, the company skipped the Band 7 in the Indian market, making this launch even more notable.
The HUAWEI Band 8 features a sleek 1.47-inch AMOLED 2.5D touch screen display with a resolution of 194×368 pixels and a pixel density of 282 PPI. This vivid display supports personalized dials that can match the user’s outfit, providing a blend of style and functionality. The band is designed to be lightweight and comfortable, with dimensions of 43.45 × 24.54 × 8.99mm and weighing just 14g.
The HUAWEI Band 8 is packed with advanced health tracking features. It supports heart rate tracking, 24-hour heart rate monitoring, and blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring. Additionally, it includes HUAWEI TruSeen 5.0 heart rate monitoring, HUAWEI TruSleep 3.0 sleep tracking, HUAWEI TruRelax stress tracking, and menstrual cycle tracking. These features make it a comprehensive health companion for users.
Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the 100 workout modes available on the Band 8. These include 11 professional workout modes such as indoor and outdoor running, cycling, and rope skipping. There are also more customized modes, including fitness activities, ball games, and dancing. The device is water-resistant up to 50 meters (5 ATM), making it suitable for swimming and other water activities.
