Oppo’s follow up to its Find N2 foldable smartphone looks to be in the works. Dubbed the Oppo Find N3, the device is rumored to come with a larger display, bigger battery, and a Qualcomm chipset. Although details of the design have not been revealed yet, one can expect several improvements from the Find N2. The Find N2 was previously exclusive to Oppo’s home market.
The Tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo has recently revealed a few details on Oppo’s upcoming foldable device, dubbed the Find N3. According to the source, the device is expected to feature an 8-inch inner display with a resolution of 2,268 x 2,440 pixels and a 120Hz screen refresh rate. It is also supposed to be “ultra-thin” and to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
In terms of cameras, the Find N3 is anticipated to have two selfie cameras – a 20-megapixel camera on the outer display and a 30-megapixel one on the inner display. On the rear panel, there should be a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX890) primary camera with OIS, a 48-megapixel (Sony IMX581) ultra-wide camera, and an L07D1W22 periscope camera.
The device is also expected to come with a 4,805mAh battery which is larger than the outgoing model’s 4,520mAh unit. Despite the similarities between this device and the unreleased OnePlus foldable, we should take all this info with a grain of salt.
