Samsung has unveiled its latest addition to the Galaxy lineup with the launch of the Galaxy Buds3 series at the recent Unpacked event held in Paris, France. Alongside the Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Watch7, the Galaxy Buds3 series introduces advanced features designed to elevate the audio experience for users.
Advanced Features and Design
The Galaxy Buds3 series integrates cutting-edge Galaxy AI technology to enhance communication and user interaction. Features such as Interpreter in Listening mode provide real-time translations, making it ideal for scenarios like foreign language classes or travel with devices such as the Galaxy Z Fold6 or Flip6. Users can also control various functions through Voice Command, offering convenience in managing music playback without touching their earbuds or smartphone.
Adaptive EQ and Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) ensure optimal sound quality by adjusting to real-time analysis of internal and external sounds via built-in microphones. This is supported by features like Adaptive Noise Control, Siren Detect, and Voice Detect for a personalized audio experience.
Design and Comfort
Designed for comfort and style, the Galaxy Buds3 series features a computational design that provides a secure fit and modern aesthetic. The series offers two distinct designs: the Canal Type for immersive sound (Buds3 Pro) and the Open Type for versatile, extended use (Buds3). Intuitive controls are facilitated through Blade Lights, enabling users to manage settings with simple pinch or swipe gestures.
Enhanced Audio Experience
The Galaxy Buds3 Pro model enhances audio with 2-way speakers and Dual Amplifiers, delivering clear sound quality complemented by Ultra High-Quality Audio with SSC codec for high-resolution audio playback. Super-Wideband Call technology ensures high-quality voice calls, akin to smartphone call clarity, even in noisy environments.
Battery Life and Sustainability
In terms of battery performance, the Buds3 offer up to 24 hours of music playback and 18 hours of talk time with ANC activated, while the Buds3 Pro extend this to 26 hours of music playback and 20 hours of talk time. Both models feature IP57 water resistance for the earbuds, ensuring durability against water and dust.
Samsung has also emphasized sustainability with the Galaxy Buds3 series, incorporating recycled plastics from fishing nets and water barrels in their construction. The packaging is made from 100% recycled paper, reflecting Samsung’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
