For a long time, Japanese smartphone maker Sony has not launched a new smartphone for its Xperia lineup, though it is not that the company is not paying attention to its powerful smartphones. Although Sony’s not having a new handset, it is giving Android 9.0 Pie update to some of its flagship smartphones. Sony Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ Compact in Android 9.0 Pie Update.
These are not the first smartphones of the company, which are getting this update. Prior to this, Sony Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact had received Android pie updates last month. Sony was supposed to release this update in October, but due to a bug in the software, this Android update was deployed. Although Android pie update will be available only in select areas, but it will soon be available in other areas as well.
Xperia XZ1, Xperia XZ1 Compact and Xperia XZ Premium FEATURES
The Sony Xperia XZ1 is one of the most outstanding features of its 19MP camera which is also capable of 3D scanning. This camera is also capable to shoot slow-motion video and 4K video. The Xperia XZ1 has a 13MP selfie camera with a 22mm wide lens for Group Selfie. It has a metal unibody design.
It has a 5.2 inch full HD HDR display, which also has a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. While the Xperia XZ1 Compact has a 4.6-inch Full HD display and Snapdragon 835 SOC. It has a 19MP rear and 8MP selfie camera. While Xperia XZ Premium has a 5.46 4K HDR triluminous display (HDR Triluminos display). This handset was launched in June this year. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset.
