Even in China, Apple has started reducing prices for third-party distributors in view of the weak sales of the iPhone and after that there is a possibility of the iPhone being cheap in India.

Cook told the reasons for the fall in iPhone sales
While discussing the quarterly results on Tuesday, Tim Cook revealed many reasons for the fall in iPhone sales. He had said that the US dollar’s strength is more than the currency of many countries, due to which the iPhone’s prices are more outside the US. Apart from this, Cook told the battery replacement program the reason behind this. Actually, Apple was accused of slapping the iPhone’s battery several times, after which the company launched a battery replacement program, under which the battery of Rs 6,500 was changed to just Rs 2,000. The company also suffered a loss of 77 thousand crores.

Apple revenues up $ 84.3 billion
Apple reported a revenue of $ 84.3 billion in the December quarter, which is down 5% compared to the same quarter of 2017. At the same time, the company has accumulated 19% increase in revenues from other products. According to Apple, in the December quarter of 2018, the revenue of the iPhone was $ 52 billion, which is 15% lower than the December quarter of 2017. However, Tim Cook already anticipated revenue of $ 84 billion in the December quarter.

India wants emerging market for Apple, tax relief, company
Apple CEO Tim Cook told the CNBC interview that India was fast emerging market for the company. Cook had said that India is a emerging market for their company and that they want tax relief from the government here so that the assembling of the handsets can be started right here.

iPhone sales fall every year
According to a report by the Hong Kong-based research firm Counterpoint, the sales of Apple’s iPhone are declining even as India’s smartphone is growing faster. In 2017, Apple sold 3.2 million iPhones, which fell to 17 lakh in 2018. At the same time, Apple sent 4 lakh iPhones in the December quarter in 2018 while OnePlus sent 5 lakh units during this time. Accordingly, the market share of Apple was 2.30% in 2016 and 2.40% in 2017, compared to only 1.20% in 2018.

Samsung, OnePlus forward, Apple’s market share in premium segment is 23%
According to Counterpoint, on Wednesday, 2018 figures have been released, according to the premium smartphone segment (more than Rs 30,000), Samsung’s market share in the country was 34%, while the second number 33% market share with OnePlus and the third Apple is on number Apple’s market share stood at 23% in 2018 while the market share of other companies remained at 23%. In many research, Apple’s market share has decreased because of its high prices.
