Oppo A31 (2020) with 6GB RAM, 128GB Storage Go on sale in India: Price, Specifications

The Oppo A31 (2020) was launched in India on February 27 and the 4GB RAM variant of the phone went on sale two days later. Oppo was also scheduled to launch the 6GB RAM variant of the smartphone in the second week of March, however, postponed due to a nationwide lockdown put in place by the central government to prevent the proliferation of novel coronaviruses. Now, the company has confirmed from Gadgets 360 that the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is available for purchase for the first time since its launch in India. The sale of the phone went live on 9 May.

Both variants of Oppo A31 (2020) are listed on Flipkart with EMI options and other discount offers. The phone has been introduced in fantasy white and mystery black color options. To recall, the Oppo A31 (2020) was launched in India on 27 February and the 4GB RAM version of the phone went on sale two days later.

Speaking of specifications, the dual-sim (Nano) Oppo A31 (2020) runs Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.1.2 on top and has a 6.5-inch HD + (720 × 1,600 pixels) display. The phone is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM. The internal storage option is maximum at 128GB and storage can be increased via microSD card (up to 256GB).

In terms of camera, the Oppo A31 (2020) has a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 12-megapixel primary camera. Two more 2-megapixel cameras have been added to the rear camera module. For selfie and video calling, there is an 8 megapixel camera, which is placed in the Waterdrop Notch.

The Oppo A31 (2020) packs a 4,230mAh battery, and connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS / A-GPS, microUSB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Finally, the Oppo A31 (2020) measures 163.90 × 75.50 × 8.30 mm and weighs 180 grams.
