For the past several months, the smartphone which has been seen in the hands of Satya Nadella will now also be within the reach of the common man. After a long wait, Microsoft has finally suspended the suspension from the launch of this phone. Yes, we are talking about Surface Duo, Microsoft’s first dual foldable screen smartphone. The company will launch it on 10 September. The company is making a comeback in the smartphone segment after 4 years.
The price of this phone will be more than 1 lakh rupees. That is, it will be included in the list of world’s expensive smartphones. Microsoft introduced this smartphone during its hardware conference in October last year. In this event, the company also introduced dual-screen tablet Neo, Surface Laptop 3, Surface Pro 7 and Surface Pro X. All these devices can be rotated up to 360 degrees.
The company said in a blog post that the Surface Duo will have an initial price of $ 1,399 (about Rs 1,04,700). The company will sell it first in the US. The company has also started pre-booking it on its official website. It can be booked by selecting 128GB or 256GB of storage at Microsoft’s online store.
Model | Price |
128GB | $1399.99 (Nearly ₹1,04,700 ) |
256GB | $1499.99 (Nearly ₹1,12,200 ) |
Work on two apps simultaneously: The Surface Duo has two screens. In this case, separate two apps on both screens can be accessed simultaneously. Like WhatsApp on the first screen and Facebook on the second will be able to run simultaneously. Similarly, anyone will be able to work on two apps simultaneously.
Type on one screen, view on the other: you will be able to use this smartphone like a compact laptop. That is, when editing a document, the keyboard will appear on one screen and the typed content will appear on the other. This way your typing work will become very easy.
Drag and Drop Across Screen: This is an amazing feature. In this, you will be able to select the text of a document on one and drag it to Microsoft’s apps on the other screen. That is, again and again, you will not have to go between two apps. This feature will be used to prepare a to-do list.
Dual Screen View: Photo-Video Gallery of the phone When a photo is selected, its view will be visible on the second screen. Not only this, the gallery will be transferred to dual-screen when the phone is vertical.
