Satya Nadella’s handheld Android smartphone will now reach the common man, know how powerful is the Surface Duo with foldable screen?

For the past several months, the smartphone which has been seen in the hands of Satya Nadella will now also be within the reach of the common man. After a long wait, Microsoft has finally suspended the suspension from the launch of this phone. Yes, we are talking about Surface Duo, Microsoft’s first dual foldable screen smartphone. The company will launch it on 10 September. The company is making a comeback in the smartphone segment after 4 years.

The price of this phone will be more than 1 lakh rupees. That is, it will be included in the list of world’s expensive smartphones. Microsoft introduced this smartphone during its hardware conference in October last year. In this event, the company also introduced dual-screen tablet Neo, Surface Laptop 3, Surface Pro 7 and Surface Pro X. All these devices can be rotated up to 360 degrees.

The company said in a blog post that the Surface Duo will have an initial price of $ 1,399 (about Rs 1,04,700). The company will sell it first in the US. The company has also started pre-booking it on its official website. It can be booked by selecting 128GB or 256GB of storage at Microsoft’s online store.

Microsoft Surface Duo’s hardware specification

  • This dual-screen smartphone will get two 5.6-inch OLED screens. Its display resolution will be 1,350×1,800 pixels. After both screens are unfolded, it converts to an 8.1-inch tablet. Then its display resolution becomes 2,700×1,800 pixels. The screen can be rotated up to 360 degrees.
  • The special thing is that till now Microsoft used to use a Windows operating system, but this phone is giving an Android operating system. Also, many Microsoft apps will be pre-installed.
  • This smartphone will get only an 11-megapixel camera lens, which will work both front and rear. Its aperture will be f / 2.0. This will not only capture photos and videos, but it will also be used during video calling. There is suspense on whether the camera’s other features like the Bokeh effect, optical zoom, blur effect will work or not.
  • It is believed that it can get an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and 6GB of RAM. However, the company has confirmed that it will be launched in two storage variants of 128GB and 256GB. It will get two batteries with a 3,577mAh capacity. It will get an 18W charger.
  • The Surface Duo will not support 5G networks. It will get 4G LTE connectivity. With this, it will also get connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C. The company can also offer stylus pens for hand lighting and drawing.

Microsoft Surface Duo Features

Work on two apps simultaneously: The Surface Duo has two screens. In this case, separate two apps on both screens can be accessed simultaneously. Like WhatsApp on the first screen and Facebook on the second will be able to run simultaneously. Similarly, anyone will be able to work on two apps simultaneously.

Type on one screen, view on the other: you will be able to use this smartphone like a compact laptop. That is, when editing a document, the keyboard will appear on one screen and the typed content will appear on the other. This way your typing work will become very easy.

Drag and Drop Across Screen: This is an amazing feature. In this, you will be able to select the text of a document on one and drag it to Microsoft’s apps on the other screen. That is, again and again, you will not have to go between two apps. This feature will be used to prepare a to-do list.

Dual Screen View: Photo-Video Gallery of the phone When a photo is selected, its view will be visible on the second screen. Not only this, the gallery will be transferred to dual-screen when the phone is vertical.
