Trends of these 10 features ended from Top-end smartphones in 2018

It’s just a few days left to end in 2018. Like every year, this year too many smartphones were entered in the market, so many out of the race also got out. Many features of the new technology equipped with the new technology have become trends this year, there are many who almost disappeared from the smartphone this year. Let’s take a look at some similar features that have been quite old in front of new technology.

5 inch screen size:

This year not only expensive smartphones, but also the budget smartphone launched with 5.5 inch or 6 inch screen, many such smartphones including the Galaxy Note 9, Huawei Mate 20 Pro, Pixel 3XL and OnePlus 6T were launched, which included about 6 inch screen was given.

HD resolution display:

HD (720×1280 pixels) display resolution with 5-inch screen was also called by most smartphone makers bye-bye. Now most of the smartphone’s aspect ratios have increased, and they are also coming up with the HD + resolution display.

Traditional screen bezel:

Nowadays, most companies are pushing for launching a thin bezel or a smartphone with a bezel less display. Thinner bezel increases the size of the smartphone screen, which makes the fun of watching fullview video and game doubling.

Single camera on back:

If Google’s pixels 3 and 3XL are skipped, most companies have called the single camera on the back bye-bye. At the same time, some companies have launched the phone, not 2, but 3-4 rear cameras.

Plastic / Poly-carbonate back panel:

Smartphones with plastic or poly-carbonate back panels also disappeared this year. Most companies present their smartphones with a metal back panel. At the same time, some used glass + metal panels to bring the wireless charging feature into it. Now there are fewer phones left in which the use of poly-carbonate is available.

3000 mAh battery:

With the 2018 3000 mAh battery trends have almost gone. Most smartphone makers are now focusing on delivering more than 3000 mAh batteries. However, many smartphones are still being offered with 3000 mAh battery.

Physical fingerprint sensor:

Just like the 3000 mAh battery, the physical fingerprint sensor has not yet fully farewell. This is not because there is a trend of such sensors, but because of this, the cost of making smartphones is less. Yet there are many well-known companies who have turned towards these display fingerprint sensors or the Face N lock feature.

3GB RAM Trend is Old:

This year, out of the 3GB RAM smartphone trend, most smartphones were equipped with 4GB RAM. Many companies also launched 6GB and 8GB of RAM. At the same time, Lenovo launched the world’s first smartphone with 12GB of RAM in the last month of the year.

Expandable Memory:

Many well-known companies such as OnePlus, Google Pixel and Huawei have increased the internal storage in the phone, which does not require MicroSD card. Anyway, External MicroSD card also affects the performance of smartphones. Since the smartphone brands are now offering 512 GB of internal storage phones, this feature has become almost out of touch due to the MicroSD card.

Headphone jack:

In 2018, most flagship companies called the 3.5mm headphone jack as a by-buy. This trend had started from the iPhone X last year. However, there are still quite a lot of smartphones in the market which are headphone jacks.
