NASA created Next Generation Flexible Space Suit, astronauts of any height will be able to wear

US space agency NASA on Tuesday introduced its new single size flexible spacesuit. It will be used during NASA’s 2024 South Threw Mission. Its most special thing is that it has been made in single size design. It can be worn by astronauts of any height as it can be adjusted to every size. This will help astronauts perform complex tasks on the lunar surface as well as protect them in harsh environments. Currently, it has been introduced as a prototype model.

Spacesuit showcased at NASA headquarters on Tuesday

1. The most important thing about this next-generation space suite is its flexibility and durability. It will comfort astronauts even under difficult conditions.
2. NASA showed its flexibility in the event, it can be twisted and bent from the waist to the suit, which was not possible in the earlier space.
3. This suit has also been made flexible from near the feet, with the help of which the suit can also be sat on the knee. This was not possible in the old spacesuit.
4. NASA has claimed that astronauts of any height can wear it. NASA said that while earlier only a few size options of the spacesuit were available, this space suit can be reduced to any size.
5. It has been prepared by adding parts of many different sizes. Its shoulder has an adjustable feature that allows anyone to wear it easily.
6. No zip or cable is used in the suit, all its main components are sealed. It can be used on the surface of the moon in harsh conditions.
7. The suite has a partable life support system, with a power source, water cooling system, two-way radio. It also has an unlimited ability to observe carbon dioxide. In this, the astronaut will get full life support for 6 days.
8. Its helmet has a special gold coating, due to which the astronaut gets better visibility. The helmet has a ventilation system for oxygen.
9. The fingers of the astronaut are always warm, so its gloves have a heater installed. The temperature of the moon is minus 121 ° C.
10. The suit has a display control module, which acts like the brain of the suit. Due to this, the life support systems installed in the suit operate.
11. Its lower structure is designed so that astronauts’ feet are protected even in harsh environments.
