iQoo has been teasing the launch of its latest offering, the iQoo Z7 Pro 5G, in India, and it seems the wait won’t be too long. While the official launch date is yet to be confirmed, a reliable tipster suggests that the smartphone will go official in the next two weeks. The leaked pricing and key specifications of the iQoo Z7 Pro 5G have also generated excitement among tech enthusiasts.
According to tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz), the iQoo Z7 Pro 5G is likely to be priced between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 30,000 in India. In this price segment, the handset is expected to compete with other popular devices, including the Motorola Edge 40, Poco F5 5G, Google Pixel 6a, and Nothing Phone 1.
The iQoo Z7 Pro 5G is anticipated to come with a range of impressive specifications. It is rumored to feature a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 1,080 x 2,400 pixels resolution, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, coupled with options for 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of inbuilt storage.
The camera setup of the iQoo Z7 Pro 5G is expected to be quite compelling. The device might house a 64-megapixel primary rear camera sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support. Additionally, it could be accompanied by a 2-megapixel secondary shooter. For selfies and video chats, the smartphone is rumored to feature a 16-megapixel sensor on the front. Powering all these features would be a 4,600mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging, ensuring users won’t face any inconvenience due to low battery life.
Recently, iQoo India CEO Nipun Marya teased the design of the iQoo Z7 Pro 5G. From the sneak peek, we can see that the smartphone boasts a curved display with thin side bezels and a centrally-aligned hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. The design exudes elegance and modernity, adding to the allure of the device.
