Poco X6 Neo Expected to Launch in India as Rebranded Redmi Note 13R Pro

The upcoming Poco X6 Neo is generating buzz as it is anticipated to make its debut in the Indian market soon. While the official announcement is pending, tipster Kacper Skrzypek has hinted that the Poco X6 Neo could be a rebranded version of the recently launched Redmi Note 13R Pro. This revelation sparks interest, especially as the Redmi Note 13R Pro marks the successor to the Redmi Note 12R Pro.

Expected Launch Details: According to the tipster, the Poco X6 Neo is likely to be the first device from Poco to carry the “Neo” moniker. The model is anticipated to arrive with the model number 2312FRAFDI, signifying its listing for the Indian market. In contrast, the Redmi Note 13 Pro bears the model number 2311FRAFDC. The tipster suggests that the Poco X6 Neo, codenamed ‘gold_a,’ may share specifications with the base Redmi Note 13 model and the Redmi Note 13R Pro.

Camera Specifications and Features: The MIUI codes mentioned by the tipster hint at notable camera capabilities for the Poco X6 Neo. It is suggested that the smartphone might boast a primary camera sensor with options ranging from 50 megapixels to 108 megapixels. This aligns with the camera specifications of the Redmi Note 13R Pro, which features a powerful 108-megapixel primary sensor in its dual rear camera setup.

Redmi Note 13R Pro Overview: The Redmi Note 13R Pro, recently launched in China, is priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 23,000) for the sole 12GB + 256GB variant. It offers a vibrant 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness level of 1,200 nits. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC and Mali G57 GPU, the device runs on Android 13-based MIUI 14. It packs a robust 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging support.

Camera Setup and Security: The Redmi Note 13R Pro’s camera configuration includes a high-resolution 108-megapixel primary sensor along with a 2-megapixel shooter in the dual rear setup. On the front, it features a 16-megapixel camera for selfies. The inclusion of a side-mounted fingerprint sensor enhances the device’s security features.

Conclusion: As Poco enthusiasts await the official confirmation, the potential launch of the Poco X6 Neo, possibly as a rebranded Redmi Note 13R Pro, adds anticipation to the Indian smartphone market. The alignment of camera specifications and features suggests that Poco might deliver a powerful and competitively priced device to cater to the diverse preferences of users in India.
