Redmi 12: Unveiling the Vibrant Colour Options

Redmi, the popular smartphone brand, is all set to introduce its latest offering, the Redmi 12, to the Indian market on August 1. Ahead of its launch, the company has confirmed key specifications, and now, they have teased the exciting colour options that will be available to Indian consumers.

Stunning Colour Options

Redmi India has taken to social media to reveal the alluring colour variants of the Redmi 12. The phone will be available in three captivating shades – Jade Black, Moonstone Silver, and Pastel Blue. The Moonstone Silver option, in particular, exhibits a mesmerizing rainbow-like hue when light dances on its surface. With a flat panel, curved edges, and a glossy metallic finish, the Redmi 12 exudes a sleek and stylish appeal.

Impressive Specifications

The Redmi 12 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of eMMC 5.1 inbuilt storage. Its robust 5,000mAh battery ensures long-lasting usage and supports 18W wired fast charging for quick refueling.

Pricing and Availability

While the official pricing for the Indian variant of the Redmi 12 is yet to be announced, we can look to the global market for an idea of what to expect. In some European markets, the base 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at EUR 199 (approximately Rs. 17,000), while the 8GB + 128GB option in Thailand is listed at THB 5,299 (around Rs. 12,500). Indian consumers can look forward to purchasing the Redmi 12 through popular e-commerce platforms Amazon and Flipkart.

Feature-Rich Experience

If the global variant’s specifications are any indication, the Redmi 12 is set to impress. It boasts a 6.79-inch full-HD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz, ensuring smooth and vibrant visuals. The phone runs on Android 13-based MIUI 14 out-of-the-box, providing a user-friendly and feature-rich interface.

Capture Every Moment

The Redmi 12 comes equipped with a versatile camera setup, featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor with a macro lens. On the front, an 8-megapixel selfie camera awaits to capture stunning self-portraits.

As we await the official launch of the Redmi 12 in India, the smartphone’s impressive specifications and captivating colour options have already piqued the interest of smartphone enthusiasts. Stay tuned for more updates and get ready to experience the next-generation Redmi offering.
