Samsung Galaxy A05: India Launch Imminent with User Manual Spotted

Samsung’s Galaxy A05 is gearing up for its India debut after being recently introduced in select countries. The smartphone, which is expected to succeed the Galaxy A04, has also made its way to Indian shores. Joining the ranks of the Galaxy A05s, released earlier this year in India, this new addition is highly anticipated by Samsung enthusiasts. While the price of the Galaxy A05 in India has been previously tipped, the recently spotted user manual online hints at an imminent launch.

User Manual Hints at India Launch

The user manual for the Samsung Galaxy A05 was first discovered on Samsung’s India website by 91Mobiles. This exciting development strongly suggests that the Galaxy A05 is ready to make its debut in India, bringing its set of features and capabilities to a new audience. Notably, the phone supports dual nano-SIM connectivity, offering flexibility for users.

Shared Specifications

Although no additional specifications have been unveiled on the Indian website, the Galaxy A05’s key features have already been confirmed from its unveiling in markets like Malaysia and the Philippines. The Indian variant is expected to closely resemble its counterparts in these regions. Previously, it was reported that the 4GB + 64GB model might be priced at Rs. 12,499, while the 6GB + 128GB variant could be listed at Rs. 12,999.

Impressive Features

The Galaxy A05 boasts a 6.7-inch HD+ (1,600 x 720 pixels) PLS LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate, ensuring a vibrant and smooth viewing experience. It can be equipped with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 built-in storage, which is expandable via a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 13-based OneUI 5.1, delivering a user-friendly and feature-rich interface.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the dual camera setup on the Galaxy A05, featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 2-megapixel depth shooter and an LED flash unit. The front camera, housed in a center-aligned waterdrop notch, boasts an 8-megapixel sensor for clear and crisp selfies.

The phone is equipped with a robust 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W wired fast charging through a USB Type-C port, ensuring extended usage without lengthy recharging times. Security is enhanced with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for quick and secure access. The device offers versatile connectivity options, including 4G, WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.3, USB 2.0, GPS, and Glonass. It even retains the cherished 3.5mm audio jack. Measuring 168.8mm x 78.2mm x 8.8mm and weighing 195 grams, the handset is designed for comfort and convenience.
