Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone giant, unveiled the Redmi Note 13 series in China back in September, consisting of the base model Redmi Note 13, the Redmi Note 13 Pro, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+. These devices have made quite an impact with their impressive 6.67-inch 1.5K full-HD+ AMOLED displays. Now, Xiaomi is preparing to introduce this stellar lineup to a global audience. While the global launch is eagerly anticipated, the FCC certification website has uncovered details about the 4G variant of the Redmi Note 13 Pro, offering a glimpse into what to expect from these upcoming devices.
Key Details: According to reports from MySmartPrice, the 4G version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro has received FCC certification, providing valuable insights into this device. Notably, the device may feature a remarkable 200-megapixel primary camera equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS), a technology that ensures clearer and steadier photos. Complementing this impressive primary camera, there is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens for capturing expansive scenes. It’s anticipated that this device will run on Android 13-based MIUI 14 right out of the box. While the FCC listing offers these enticing details, it doesn’t reveal more about the upcoming handset.
In addition to the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G, the FCC certification site has also unveiled another 4G phone—the Poco M6 Pro 4G. Interestingly, it appears to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G. According to the report, the Poco M6 Pro 4G, identified as model number 2312FPCA6G, features a 64-megapixel primary camera, albeit without the 200-megapixel sensor and OIS seen in the Note 13 Pro 4G. The Poco device is also set to include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and is expected to run on MIUI 14. Xiaomi has yet to confirm any official details about these two intriguing handsets.
The Redmi Note 13 series originally launched in China with the Pro variant featuring a 6.67-inch 1.5K full-HD+ AMOLED display boasting a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, offering up to 16GB of RAM and a generous 512GB of onboard storage. The 5G model, which shares camera specifications with the FCC listing for its 4G counterpart, also boasts a robust 5,100mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging support.
Meanwhile, the Poco M6 Pro 5G variant made its way to India in August, featuring a 6.79-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. This smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, combined with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Its camera setup includes a 50-megapixel AI sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
As Xiaomi prepares to take the Redmi Note 13 series global, smartphone enthusiasts worldwide are eagerly anticipating the release of these devices, ready to explore their cutting-edge features and capabilities. Stay tuned for further details as Xiaomi unveils its plans for the international market.
