Google Unveils New Sporty Coral Band Option for Pixel Watch

Last year, during the ‘Made By Google’ event, tech giant Google introduced its long-awaited Pixel Watch to the world, and it quickly became a sought-after smartwatch. Available in Chalk, Charcoal, Hazel, and Obsidian band options, the Pixel Watch garnered praise for its features and design. Now, it seems Google is adding a new band option to the mix, and it’s sporty and stylish.

The latest Google Fixed on Pixel ad, featuring soccer star Megan Rapinoe, gives us a glimpse of the upcoming Coral Pixel Watch band. In the ad, Megan Rapinoe can be seen confidently using her Pixel 7 Pro smartphone paired with the Pixel Watch donning the vibrant coral band, showcasing the “Fitbit Active Zone Minutes.” She completes her tech-savvy look with the Pixel Buds Pro truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds. According to the video, the Coral band is slated for release in Fall 2023, and fans are eagerly awaiting its arrival.

Initially, there were speculations that Google would release seven bands for the Pixel Watch, but the watch made its debut with four band options: Chalk Active band, Charcoal Active band, Hazel Active band, and Obsidian Active band.

To refresh your memory, Google first unveiled the Pixel Watch at I/O 2022 in May, and it officially launched in October during the ‘Made By Google’ event, alongside the Google Pixel 7 series.

The Google Pixel Watch is offered at a price of $349.99 (roughly Rs. 29,000) for the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi-only model, while the LTE model with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi is priced at $399.99 (roughly Rs. 33,000).

The watch runs on WearOS 3.5 and boasts a circular 1.2-inch AMOLED touch display with always-on mode support. It is powered by the Exynos 9110 SoC, coupled with a Cortex M33 coprocessor and 2GB of RAM. The Pixel Watch comes with a heart rate sensor and an ECG tracker, making it a reliable health companion. With its stainless-steel build and integration with Fitbit, it seamlessly blends style and functionality. Additionally, it supports Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Wallet, providing a comprehensive smartwatch experience.

As the Pixel Watch continues to impress users, the upcoming Coral band option adds a touch of sportiness and vibrancy to this already popular wearable. Stay tuned for its release in Fall 2023, and get ready to elevate your style and fitness game with the Pixel Watch.
