The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 is set to be unveiled next month as the successor to the Galaxy Watch 5, offering new features and improvements to the popular smartwatch series from the South Korean tech giant. The latest leaks and rumors suggest that the Galaxy Watch 6 will come with a rotating bezel and an intriguing design, teasing an exciting upgrade. Prior to its official debut, details about the watch’s processor have surfaced online. It is speculated that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 will be powered by an Exynos chip, offering enhanced performance compared to its predecessor.
A listing for a new Samsung chip with the model name Exynos W930 was discovered by tipster Revegnus on the Bluetooth SIG website. The processor, identified as the S5E5515, is expected to be paired with a compatible RF chip to enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Notably, the model number for the W930 processor is the same as the Exynos W920 chip found in the current-generation Galaxy Watch 5 and its predecessor, the Galaxy Watch 4. This suggests that the Exynos W930 could be an improved version of the processor utilized in recent Galaxy smartwatches.
It’s worth mentioning that this leak contradicts a previous report suggesting that the Galaxy Watch 6 would be powered by an Exynos W980 chip, claimed to be 10 percent faster than the W920 SoC found in the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 4 series.
Expected Launch and Unpacked Event
Samsung is anticipated to launch new smartwatch models in the near future, and it is likely that the Exynos W930 chip will be featured in both the Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. These watches are expected to make their debut next month alongside the rumored Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The official unveiling is expected to take place at the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, scheduled for the end of July in South Korea.

As excitement builds for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 6, leaked details about its processor add to the anticipation.
