D2h Magic streaming device announced for D2h set-top box users, available at Rs 399

D2h Magic D2h is the new streaming device announced by Dish TV India for set-top box users. D2h Magic is a streaming device that is very similar to the currently available DishSMRT stick for Dish TV users. All new streaming devices for D2h subscribers can be connected to the D2h set-top box via a USB port and it allows users to view content from OTT apps such as ZT5, Watcho, ALTBalaji, Hungama Play etc. Dish TV says that d2h Magic will also offer catch-up TV shows from real-time TV content. After the preview offer, the streaming device can be availed for an introductory price of Rs 399 with a nominal subscription price of Rs 2599 per month. d2h Magic aims to take Tata Sky Binz service and Airtel Internet TV box.

How can d2h subscribe to avail d2h magic streaming device?

D2h existing customers can visit the company’s website to order the d2h magic stick, or they can call 1800 1370 111 to order the product. Make a note that subscribers will have to pay a one-time charge of Rs 399 from a d2h magic device. After three months, customers have to pay Rs 25 (excluding taxes) every month to watch content from OTT services. According to D2h, the D2h Magic Stick works with the D2h V7000 HDW RF set-top box. Dish TV also confirmed that d2h Magic will be available in all major cities.

How to start with d2h magic stick?

After purchasing the D2h Magic Stick, subscribers have to connect it to one of the USB ports of the set-top box. Once connected, D2h subscribers need to connect their latest d2h set-top box to an available Wi-Fi network or mobile hotspot via a ‘d2h magic’ device, connected to the USB port of the set-top box it happens. According to the company the device will be available with a single remote control for everything and integrated interfaces.

d2h Magic is a streaming device that bridges the gap between content from live TV and OTT services. Dish TV says that the device comes with a huge library of digital videos and access to free content in other apps. It seems that paid content from streaming services will not be available for free to d2h Magic users. Users can stream from OTT services like ALTBalaji, ZEE5, Hungama Play, SonyLIV and Watch (Dish TV’s own content app).

Commenting on the launch of this new device, Mr. Anil Dua, Executive Director and Group CEO of Dish TV India Limited said, “We are delighted to announce the launch of d2h Magic. This will give our customers the right to use their TV sets in a remote way to enjoy Internet-based content as well as live TV. At Dish TV India Limited, we believe in bringing the latest technology and innovation to our customers. d2h magic is yet another step in this direction. “

Right now, we have no information about the availability of Netflix and Amazon Prime Video on the d2h magic stick. D2h Magic also comes with a dedicated kids section, where children can choose rhymes, learning and educational videos, arts and craft videos and more.
