Tata Sky has again reduced the prices of its Tata Sky Binge + set-top box in India. The premium STB offer price has come down to Rs. 1,000. It is currently available to new customers for Rs. Available at 2,999. New customers get a six-month Tata Sky Binge subscription and a three-month Amazon Prime Video subscription for free. Additionally, the price of Tata Sky Binge + Multi-TV connection has also been reduced from Rs. 3,999 to Rs. 2,499.
The revised price of Tata Sky Binz + set-top box for new customers is visible on the company’s website. The new price, as mentioned, is set at Rs. 2,999. To recall, the Tata Sky Binz + Android TV-powered set-top box was launched in January this year. In May, it received its first price of Rs. 2,000, bringing the price down to Rs. 5,999 to Rs. 3,999. Now, further Rs. 1,000 price reductions have been introduced, bringing the effective price to Rs. 2,999.
For existing Tata Sky users who combine Binj + for a multi TV connection or upgrade to Tata Sky Binger + set-top box, the price is reportedly Rs. 2,499. It denotes one rupee. The deducted price from its previous low of Rs 1,500. 3,999. When the set-top box was launched in January, these services were priced at Rs. 5,999. These price cuts were first noticed by DreamDTH.
Tata Sky Binge + is an Android TV-powered set-top-box that supports Google Assistant-based voice search as well as provides Google Play Store access. This gives you the option of accessing live TV via satellite or switching to OTT apps by connecting the box to the Internet. Additionally, there is a catchup TV feature that lets you access the last 7 days of TV content.
As mentioned, new Tata Sky Binge + set-top box customers will get six months of Tata Sky Binge subscription and three months of Amazon Prime subscription for free. Tata Sky Binge subscriptions include OTT apps such as Disney + Hotsar, SunNxt, Hungama Play, Shemaroo and Eros Now. Tata Sky Binge subscription is priced at Rs. 249 per month while Amazon Prime Video subscription is priced at Rs. 129 per month. Users will have to pay this amount as soon as the free period ends.
