Samsung Galaxy Book S always offers on LTE and promises a battery life of 23 hours
Along with its flagship Galaxy Note 10 smartphone, Samsung also announced the Galaxy Book S, a Qualcomm-powered laptop, promising a ridiculous amount of battery life.
The Book S is a Qualcomm 8cx based laptop that is part of Qualcomm’s Always Connected PC (ACPC) platform. ACPC is a computer powered by ARM-based Qualcomm chips, a technology commonly found in smartphones, and always provides support for LTE, instant wake, and 20+ hours of battery life. On the Galaxy Book S, Samsung is claiming 23 hours of continuous video playback.
The Galaxy Book S is based on Qualcomm’s 8cx platform.
Unlike Qualcomm’s previous ACPC platform, 8cx is a purpose-built chip for personal computers. It sinks power and does not overheat, meaning that the laptop does not require fans. The laptop will be available in pink and gray colors at a starting price of $ 999. There is no word on the launch of India.
