Kia released a teaser image of sub-compact SUV, to be a world premiere at Auto Expo 2020
Kio Motors India recently released teaser images of its upcoming sub-compact SUV. The company will do its world premiere at the Auto Expo 2020 in Delhi. According to reports, the company may launch this SUV during the festive season this year. This will be the company’s smallest model in the Indian market. Sub-four meter This SUV is being manufactured with the codename QYi. In the Indian market, it will compete with Tata Nexon including Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Ford EcoSport, Suzuki Vitara Brezza.
Kia’s signature tiger nose grill will be found in front
Kia’s new sub-compact SUV will share the platform with the Hyundai Venue, but it can be seen in the teaser image that it will get a unique exterior and interior design. Talking about the front look, Kia’s signature Tiger nose grill with honeycomb inserts will be available, the front bumper will get a muscular look as well as wide air dam and vertical air dams on both sides. Apart from this, fog lamps of matte silver finish color have been given in it.
According to the teaser image, on the side, it has been provided with square wheel arcs including flat finish bonnet. Black cladding will be found around the car. It has alloy wheels of diamond cut shape. It is expected that 16-inch wheels will be seen in its production version compared to the concept.
At the rear, the Kia QYi Concept features wide-rear glass with floating D-Pillars. According to the teaser, this SUV will come with the RoofRail and small spoiler. Its tail lamp is mounted horizontally, which is connected to the LED. At the same time, matte silver color elements with black inserts have also been used in the bumper. At present, no information has been given about its interior. But it is expected that it can be seen at the Auto Expo.
Like the Hyundai Venue lineup, it is expected that the production version of the Kia QYi can get 1.2 liter petrol and 1.0 liter turbo-petrol engine options, including 1.5 liter BS6 turbo diesel engine. At the Auto Expo with Kia QYi, the company will introduce some more concept models, including the Kia Carnival MPV.
