Realme TV has been seen online in just one image which also removes its screen size. We have been hearing about Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme’s foray into the TV business for some time now, and according to a new report, the product launch is now imminent. Images of Reality TV have appeared in its packaging in a warehouse, suggesting that the television is ready to be shipped out. This could mean that Reality TV is going to launch in the coming weeks, and the latest image also confirms some of the expected features and specifications of all but television.
The image, spotted and reported by MySmartPrice, shows several stacks of Realme TV units in a warehouse, seemingly ready to be shipped. The TV’s packaging shows a clearly marked product name on the front, whose screen size 108 cm (43 in) also appears on the box. This is in line with earlier reports that also have a 43-inch screen size too wide.
Also seen in the image is a blurred Netflix logo on the box, suggesting that the TV will have some form of official Netflix support or customization beyond the basic availability of the TV’s service. The report also stated that Android TV and the Google Assistant logo are also present on the packaging, showing what the Smart TV platform and voice assistant support will be on the TV.
At this size, it is possible that Realme TV will be offered in full-HD and ultra-HD resolution variants. The former will naturally be a lot more affordable and appeal to budget buyers, while the ultra-HD variant will be slightly more feature-rich and appeal to users who want better performance at a competitive price. Although we don’t know to price yet, it is likely that Realme will compete with the Mi TV range in terms of pricing.
