Good laptop that holds up well. I got one of these for each of my elementary school boys and they continue to hold up well for all their gaming (mostly Roblox) and I haven’t had any major issues with the hardware or software besides normal Windows issues.
Great laptop for the price. This laptop is a great deal at $1,199. I did a lot of shopping around before purchasing it and I couldn't be happier. Zero problems and I have been astounded by the workload this PC can handle. My only complaint is a 512GB hard drive is a little small for gamers, but there is an open 2.5" slot which is easily accessible.
Works great, but CPU gets HOT. Great for gaming, runs just about anything at max graphics settings without issues. The RTX 3060 never struggles with temperature. However, under heavy load, the Intel i5-12500H does. It regularly reaches 180°F and sometimes higher, even with the fans at full blast. I got a cooling pad for it which definitely helps bring that CPU temp down a little, though it still can get pretty hot, which isn't good for its lifespan.
Excelente compra. 😀
El equilibrio justo. The media could not be loaded.
Excelente. Excelente
Great Value. You get what you pay, This laptop with any discount its just superior, there is nothing close to this price point with this performance, Battery life is a little disapointing but its something common in gaming laptops so no complain there, on the other side the PC came with a lot of things to set up in order for it to not run at 90* C but yeah very good in every aspect.
Substantial platform refresh with good specs. This 2022 Nitro 5 refresh has improved cooling so they can crank up power limits on the 3060 at 140w. They've also added a MUX. The thermal is not as well tuned as a lenovo legion 5, but it is not substantial enough of a difference to matter. Can run the processor at near max boost for quite a bit.The GPU is imo the sweetspot choice on a laptop. 3060 is around 80% of the performance of a 3070 Ti but with a lot less heat generated, and the performance is high enough to be future proof for quite a while on 1080p.Note: purchase price was 1199, so with raised price maybe not as good of a deal.

Very fast computer with mediocre battery life. ASUS TUF is a high-quality, but affordable gaming PC that delivers!Performance:I have the i5-12500H variant, and this processor has not shown any slowdowns at all! During the initial setup, and for the first 2 days, it was moving a little sluggish, but the Task Manager showed that it was Windows processes that was using most of the CPU and RAM at the time (happens to all computers from time to time). Outside of that, the performance is flawless. I have used it to play Halo: Master Chief Collection, and it runs like a beauty!Wi-Fi speeds are immaculate! The Wi-Fi chip performs flawlessly! Not to mention that it is also equipped with an ethernet port as well. No complaints here.Screen:Upon first bootup of the desktop (after the setup screen), I IMMEDIATELY saw the quality of the screen. Viewing angles are just about perfect as well! This is my first foray into 144Hz territory, and I love it! Transitions are smooth, and I often move the mouse pointer from one corner to another just to enjoy the frame rate. The screen gets plenty bright for indoor use, and suitable for outdoor use as well. Direct sunlight, however, is a bit of a letdown. At the same time, I don't like or suggest using PCs in direct sunlight if possible, as the heat is not good for the device. The color accuracy leaves a little to be desired, as it does not provide 100% of the sRGB color gamut (around 46-55%, I think), so be careful with photo processing. The screen has a matte surface, so there are NO reflections to speak of.Hardware:That being said, this device is great with high/low temps as well! It doesn't slow down with the cold, and it doesn't throttle when hot. The fans do a great job keeping the laptop cool and preventing throttling, even while gaming. Maybe I should try gaming outside in the sunlight....? Perhaps a future edit is in order.Back on track, the fans are audible while performing CPU-heavy tasks (gaming and video processing), but completely quiet while using simple processes, like web browsing and document editing. In fact, I thought the fans turned off, but I can feel a very slight breeze from the back of the device at all times. For simple tasks, this is actually just fine to use in your lap. The rear vents prevent overheating when used on your lap as well. I do not suggest using it in your lap while gaming. The hinge for the screen is sturdy, and the laptop material feels durable and looks good. The keyboard and wrist-rests get smudges, though. Not too fond with that. It is easy to clean with a microfiber cloth, though, so all is not lost. Now, the not so good (don't worry, the list is short):Battery:The battery is easily the greatest letdown for this computer. For everyday tasks, you can get 3-5hrs of battery life, depending on different factors (fan speed, screen brightness, backlit keyboard settings, speaker volume, etc.). However, when gaming, the battery life TANKS! You might get 1:30hrs if you are lucky. For older titles, these metrics change by a lot. But for Halo, for example, I was at 50% in about 40mins. I imagine that video processing would deliver slightly better results, but not aby too much. Keep your plug handy.Speakers:The speakers are decent. Bass is non-existent, but I did not expect that. The vocals, however, are rather clear. The speakers do provide a stereo experience, with the left and right channels working as intended (great for shooting games to know the origin of bullets and footsteps). I typically use Bluetooth or external speakers, so I don't have too many complaints about this. Conclusion:This laptop is a very solid performer for whatever tasks that you want to do, but be mindful of the battery limitations. Keeping this in mind, you won't regret this purchase!
Bulletproof. I've wanted something that I could use as an everyday computer for work and use for gaming in my off time, something that could combine productivity and gaming in a compact design. I did a lot of research and found several (Razor Blade, Sager) but they were just too far out of my price range. I was worried I was being unrealistic for my budget. Then I came across the 2022 ASUS TUF Dash 15 (FX517ZM-AS73).From a physical standpoint I find the form factor is great in the hands and taking it mobile is a breeze thanks to it's compact, lightweight and super sleek design. I can easily pop it into my messenger bag when I need it on the go and when at home I can hook it up to a secondary display and enjoy gaming on it like I would a desktop.Under the hood it's clear ASUS wanted to make an impression. The hardware is impressive, yes, but how it synergies together is the most impressive part. Across the board performance is near instantaneous and (if power options and Armory Crate are utilized well) the battery life is also quite impressive when used for productivity tasks, too.The hardware is an ensemble cast with an Intel Core i7-12650H, 16GB of lightning fast DDR5 memory, a 512GB M.2 SSD and a 6GB GeForce RTX 3060 Mobile to round it out. It should be mentioned that while the computer itself supports Gen4 M.2 drives the stock 512GB SSD is Gen3 - likely to cut costs - however don't let that deter you as for an O/S drive it works great. Also, in a nice change of pace this laptop can be completely upgraded and you won't find any hardware soldered to the board. I have since added a 1TB Samsung 990 Pro in the second M.2 slot (for game installs, storage) and could not be happier with the near-instant performance.Speaking of performance I have yet to find a game title that I am unable to max out the settings on, even when hooked up running UHD resolutions on my secondary display (I have an LG UltraGear 27GL83A-B) which takes advantage of the G-Sync support for silky smooth response times. I've not yet even needed to use the "Turbo" mode as everything gets handled quite comfortably using the "Performance" setting.ASUS did their homework when they designed the 2022 iteration and you can tell they were paying attention, the 2022 Dash 15 corrects many of the complaints from the previous years model and then some. The new cooling system design is incredibly effective and helps cut back on a lot of fan noise, even when under load (using the "Performance" setting) the fans when kicked up are barely audible while keeping everything nice and cool.I'm very impressed with this machine and can easily recommend it to anybody interested in this model. No matter if you're looking for a dedicated gaming laptop or something to use for daily productivity tasks and some gaming on the side the 2022 ASUS TUF Dash 15 (FX517ZM-AS73) is hard to beat for performance and value.

Super computadora a un super precio. 100% recomendable.

Excellent machine. The screen is beautiful and the keyboard is nice and....... solid. AS is the build in general. I'm extremely happy with this laptop. No camera but I can live with that. The lighting is a little too ....... involved imo, could be SOOO much simpler. Still, a very fine machine and I am definitely happy with it as will you I'm sure.
G513RC-EH71 has no per key RGB. Bought this G513RC-EH71 during black Friday sale for $799. This is a 4 panel RGB keyboard, not per-key RGB. I selected the 1TB option, but the ASUS website specs said it was 512gb drive, which I received. I only play Shadow of the Tomb Raider and it runs at ~100 fps on high settings. I tried the MUX settings and other settings in Armoury Crate, and it made little difference, so I left it at the Optimized setting. I also set the AURA lights so that it displays CPU temperature, green, yellow, red. After installing said game from Steam, I had 75% of my SDD left, so I upgraded the SDD to 4TB and upgraded the ram to 64mb using Crucial components.I like that it can charge through the proprietary power input, or through a USB-C port (100w). HDMI video out and USB-C video out all work like a charm.Overall I'm pleased with the performance of this laptop.
Great computer with amazing performance. First, off the bat the computer is quite large even within gaming laptops, but unlike older builds that are large and waste space, this computer has no space wasted. Prior to this computer I owned an older strix, and the improvements are extremely noticeable. Being that unlike the older builds, this computer deals with temperature with much more ease. My biggest complaint about the older strix was that the fans were too loud and that the temperature of the computer was unbearable. However this computer has exceeded my expectations, and so far I'm having a blast.
ASUS ROG Strix G15. Excellent value for money
Nice laptop. The battery life needs improvement.
Nice gaming computer. Nice gaming computer. The image in the description is not accurate. This is a touch pad only and not a screen with a calculator. Still works great for gaming.
Best Laptop. This is the best Laptop I ever own and upgrading the ram was easy to do. I would buy another one for my brother for gaming. 10/10 best laptop!
The media could not be loaded.
I am really happy with the computer, however, sometimes the computer does not display anything for few minutes when I turn it on.. is this normal? I cannot contact support to check, so I can only return it
The media could not be loaded.  I may like to check why my product having this issue..Need an urgent support

One of The best laptops I ever had. I honestly say it’s pretty good for what it is, the battery can go down fast but I leave it plugged in when it gets too low not a big deal, the camera and microphone are great. It runs game’s pretty good, it handles my vr really good. I honestly recommend it
Bought to updrade. **update: this laptop can at times, be powered on, but have a black screen. No matter how many times it's reset, it will not work. I had to take it apart and remove the ram and reinstall it then it would boot up.I believe I figured out the cause, using hibernation mode! So I changed hibernation mode to sleep mode and haven't had it happen again. That's the only problem I've had, it still works perfectly.****This laptop came perfect, new and not damaged. On its own it was a nice laptop but I upgraded the laptop ram with teamelite group ddr5 4800 2x16gb = 32 gbThen I upgraded the ssd to crucial p5 plus 500gb, used the cloning software to clone existing ssd then switched boot order and formatted the old drive. Everything is super fast and works great. One thing about the backlit keyboard, it does have it but it needs to be turned on in the lenovo software that comes installed. Also great feature if the ethernet port which would be great for gaming I imagine, tho I don't game with this laptop
Decent value gaming laptop. The model I received comes with a Ryzen 5 6600U, RTX 3050 4GB, 8GB of DDR5-4800 (I added another 8 gigs before doing much else so bear that in mind for performance reviews), and a 256 gig internal storage drive (I use an external 1TB SSD for games). Not a bad laptop overall. Had some issues but some were caused by Windows, not the laptop itself. If you're upgrading the RAM or storage, be extra sure to make sure Windows doesn't have any updates waiting. Windows 11 made the great decision to no longer tell users if their shutting down of a PC would also be applying updates. So unplugging the battery and adding more RAM unknowingly mid-update despite having shut down the laptop bricked my operating system and I had to reinstall. Downside is that you need ethernet upon a reinstall so you can download wifi drivers. Upside is it gets rid of the bloatware Lenovo tries preinstalling with the laptop. The inside is pretty simple, RAM is covered by a small metal tray with thermal pads on it for heat dissipation. A free M.2 storage slot is right in the open, ready for you to add storage as needed (you will need it). Thermals seem pretty solid, fans ramp up in gaming (I barely hear them over my headset which I don't run very loud and is an open-back headset, meaning I can hear noises outside of the headset fairly well) but rarely get too extreme. For gaming, it's a mixed bag. Needless to say, ray tracing will not be something you'll use on this laptop for playable frame rates. I doubt even 30 fps is achievable without dropping to 720p or less. Rainbow Six Siege was able to handle 1080p 120 fps consistently with mixed graphics settings (90 fov, ultra LOD, Medium textures and Shadows, most else set to low) with or without DLSS enabled. Though I did experience a bug where the render scaling option said I was running at ~850p even with the render scaling set to 100... an oddity to be sure. Halo Reach struggled to achieve similar results on Forge World, with bad tearing when the fps cap was set to 120. I lowered it to 60 and all was well, though drops may not be out of the question in high-intensity situations like custom games or campaign. Minecraft Java ran mostly above 60 fps on a modded server without Optifine or any other performance enhancers. Even in a particularly-taxing area it was mostly fine when the render distance was turned down. I'm sure with the use of Optifine or Sodium it'd be a very solid gaming experience.Windows 11 is a bit of a chore. Upon first installing Steam, I realized that my default Documents folder pinned to my Quick Access in the File Explorer was labeled under OneDrive. I never gave OneDrive permission to backup anything on my PC, as the measley 5 GB it gives you isn't enough for anything I would use a computer for. But it forces a backup, and deleting from the OneDrive cloud deletes it from your PC as well for... some insane reason. So be wary if you use Windows 11, make sure you remove the tabs from the Quick Access bar in File Explorer and replace them with the actual local file locations (Documents, Pictures, Music, etc). The keyboard is... weird. I've used mechanical and membrane alike in plenty of scenarios, but this one just feels weird compared to either. It's not unusable by any means but it takes getting used to. The trackpad is fine, I prefer having mouse buttons with my trackpad but it's not unusable even without them. The speakers are tinny. For 2W speakers it's not bad but it's not going to have the amazing sound quality the description would lead you to believe. Would suggest using headphones. The I/O is alright. Type-C with full DisplayPort functionality is nice to have, HDMI 2.0 is plenty for what this laptop is capable of, and the back-facing Ethernet and charging ports are quite handy in most situations. I've always been a fan of Lenovo's chargers as well, for some reason the reversible square shape just feels right. My only complaint would be a lack of USB ports, and the lack of SD/MicroSD. I know the latter is getting up there in age which makes it more a personal preference, but the former can make it difficult to use with numerous external devices (keyboard, mouse, storage, controllers, etc) since you are limited to 3 max only if you have type-C connectivity, otherwise you get two ports for peripherals and nothing more. An extra USB 2 port would have been nice to have.Overall it's a solid deal. Boot times are fast, gaming feels alright, the wifi signal is solid (though I did notice some lag while using a bluetooth Xbox Series controller with wifi, need to test and see if the lag is still present while using ethernet) and the laptop is easy to modify for basics like RAM and storage for the most part. A solid system from Lenovo.*Update 2/11/2023 - Found out that this laptop actually does support VRR via AMD Freesync. However, this is not listed anywhere the laptop can be found. I had to install AMD's graphics software in order to enable it, despite the laptop having an Nvidia GPU inside. This helped immensely with stuttery FPS in various games, though issues with Nvidia control panel's FPS limits caused other issues unrelated with the laptop itself.
Great buy. At the time of buying, you couldn't get a better deal. Purchased for my partner because her old Mac couldn't run our game servers. Out of the gate this thing performed at minimum 60 fps. Kept up with a 250+ mod Minecraft server (even capable of shaders), upgraded to 16gb ram which was cheaply obtained with the dual sockets. Only issue is that the BIOS needs a mandatory update but the support from the Lenovo site made it easier than any desktop I've worked on. I'm not sure you can find this kind of performance to value in a laptop anywhere else with upgradability being icing on top. I will be purchasing one for myself in the near future.
Died after less than a year, poor build quality all around. Let me first start off by saying that the specs are great for the price, this really could have been a nice laptop. However the plastic shell is very flimsy and the unit is creaky and not a solid feel at all. The mouse pad is also atrocious and very laggy, which is ironic for a gaming laptop. Battery life was mixed, in gaming it actually was okay and you could get a solid hour out of it running 1080p 120hz full chop. However when idle and even in sleep mode the battery drains like a tank and only lasts about 4 hours. Very uncool. But now its stuck and won't properly boot. Definitely not just the display as external doesn't work either, I don't think its actually making it to bios. Reading around on google there are debugging steps but they involve completely taking the laptop apart and testing for loose connections or even bad components... not good.

Playing Warzone. I set it up and downloaded Warzone and it has great graphics the only down side is the fans very loud. But I found a solution to that which is a under computer fan.
Works very well and very light. Easy to move around the house, as long as it’s plugged in it can play most current games at full settings, provided you have a nice laptop cooler, but that’s all laptops. MSI continues to impress me
It's nice so far. Since Amazon decided to not let me post my original review I docked another star. I originally gave 3 stars because I found that the Genuine Windows label with product key is not affixed to this laptop anywhere. Being an OEM system builder myself I know that every computer Must have the windows genuine label showing the OS and the product key. So I question as to whether this has a genuine windows OS now. Aside from that, the box it came in said it had 8GB Ram while the product post said 16. I had to check in the PC itsself and it does have the 16GB Ram. There's no HDD led to tell you if it's doing something and the battery charge light remains white so you really don't know if it's charging or fully charged when it's off as the light stays on. Only 2x USB A connectors is a little disadvantage. On the up-side it is pretty fast, though for the price they could have used a faster AMD CPU with more cache than the intel. There's no real manual so it's unknown whether you can add more RAM or the max RAM you can put in this. There's no cover underneath to access the RAM so you would probably have to remove the entire bottom. Plus with it being a gaming system I would have expected an accessible cover near the heat sinks to be able to open and clean on a regular basis. It's operation is quiet.
It's a good computer. Very happy
MSI software required to use Windows key properly. MSI switches the Windows key and FN key by default. Needs their MSI software to be installed in order to switch it back. I tried to uninstall it after the switch was made and it reverts to default with the keys switched. They couldn't prevent you from deleting their BS software so they hold your windows key hostage in exchange for them monitoring your system. That's pretty lame
So far, Out of the box. I just received this laptop, so I haven't had much time to sit and really play around with it. So, this is really just my first impression of it.Pros:The backlit keyboard has a nice feel to the buttons. The 15.6 inch monitor goes all the way to the edge of the screen. It doesn't have a pronounced "wide-screen" feel like some other laptops have, which is nice, in my opinion.Download speeds are a dream, provided you have a healthy internet connection.Set up was really easy, and gave me the ability to turn some features off (not uninstall) that I don't really use. (WIndows 11)And its not too heavy!Cons:The limited USB ports (2) are only on the right hand side, making using a mouse next to it (I.e. you're sitting on a couch, with a small laptop tray underneath) a little tricky. It has a bunch of preinstalled programs on it that don't feel necessary to have, universally. I'm not an Xbox player, so I have no need for the Xbox features to tie into my gaming experience. I'm not a streamer, so it feels a bit bloated with features I'll never actually use and can't easily remove ( as I said, there's ways to turn it off, though.)The fans are loud. They don't buzz or rattle (yet) but they are noticeable in a quiet environment. I can definitely see getting a decent cooling pad for it, as it does get quite hot, under the GPU.This machine needs to be ventilated for maximum airflow, as a result.Coming from an outdated Lenovo that was 10 years past its prime, I have to say that initial game-play (World of Warcraft) was beautiful. I have never played on a machine that could push past middle-of-the road graphics (3-5), and this runs it on Ultra (10) as a default. I haven't had enough time with it, to really gauge the battery life, but once i have an opportunity to really test it, I will update this review.

Great gaming laptop for the price. Ive had this laptop for about 2 weeks now. I was nervous buying this because theres so many mixed reviews, but here is my pros and cons and honest opinion (coming from someone who only plays sims and gta5).Ive watched so many Youtube reviews and read so many comments and amazon reviews so it was a very thought out purchase lol.It really has good graphics and runs everything smoothly. Loading times are under 10 seconds no matter what game I am playing.Ive never had a gaming laptop before so i really did my research before buying, and i love this laptop. Light up keyboard, Non flimsy screen (because some people were stating that it wobbles but i dont have a problem with that). battery life does really well and also charges conveniently. All of the features like windows 11 and just the keyboard set up on the laptop is a1 in my opinion. Comes with Omen and Nvidia which just helps you game better. lots of perks with EA and omen discounts steam discounts etc etc.Laptop set up was super simple, downloading apps and things are super easy and fast. I can run my sims game in the background while i google something or watch youtube videos so the ram is nice and i got the 8gb which i was doubting it would be enough ram but its plenty. same for gta5.if youre a casual gamer and still want to have a laptop for day to day basis/ school, i would recommend.i have plenty of storage so far as well. i think it came with 600 gb?? i have about 1000 mods/cc for sims alone with gta and still have a good 500gb left if not more.has bluetooth which i really love to connect my airpods and xbox controller to it. they said it came with an alexa but i havent yet found it or even bothered to look as theres so much to discover when using this and setting up.theres only one or two things ive noticed that i dont like about this laptop but its nothing to not make me buy the laptop again if needed. i noticed your fingerprints are very likely to show all over this laptop lol. outside, mouse pad, screen. lol. nothing to crazy youll just need to wipe often. another thing is the fan is very loud when you have games running. it was noticeable at first because my old laptop wasnt like that but its only because your laptop is processing graphics etc at such a fast pace which is a good thing. i got used to the sound quickly. and the last thing is the mouse pad gets stuck. when i click too much or too hard when gaming it gets pushed down and will get stuck. longest its lasted was like probably less than 5 minutes. just little bit annoying but you can still tap and use mouse any other ways.overall, im really happy with this purchase. its my first gaming laptop let alone brand new out the box and im satisfied with it.
Decent all purpose laptop, with a caveat. We picked this laptop up, on sale, for my wife. It's a pretty decent laptop, but desperately needs more memory than it ships with. The memory is not soldered in, which makes that an easy problem to fix, and with the discount is a real non-issue for us. Does ok at very light gaming, and is an otherwise good general use computer.
Moderate laptop with okay battery life, and some caveats. I wouldn’t say this laptop is worth a full price of $1000, but for a discount it might be good for you. I got this laptop for going off to college (engineering, hence the GPU) and its performance is pretty great for the price. (Got it for $750) It also doesn’t have a bunch of crazy accents and colors which I really appreciate on a laptop. Comes installed with a bit of “bloatware” like the HP Omen center which I did find to be pretty useful. One thing to note is that the display on this is 60Hz. If you’re looking for a 120-144Hz display you’ll be disappointed with this one. It also doesn’t have the best colors and vibrance on the screen which isn’t really an issue but might bother some. Battery life is passable (hard to give an exact number, but I was able to watch YouTube video at 480p for 4h30m with rather low brightness and power saver enabled. Can probably extrapolate from there. Something better would be ideal but you should look for a Ryzen model if you want actual good battery life. One thing advertises is that the laptop can charge from 0% to 50% in 30 minutes, and this is indeed true which impressed me. Overall despite my nagging, it’s a good-looking laptop with good specs for a sale price and passable battery life.
It's really really good. As the title suggets, it just works splendidly. Whether I'm gaming, editing, surfing the web it does it all quick&smooth. The 15.6 inch screen is wide enough to enjoy anything you watch plus it has a very HD display; everything looks gorgeous. It runs essentially all games made upto 2022 but the high end ones you do need to tweak the settings a lot (expected for the price tag). Heating is also excellently managed which many laptops fail to achieve. I haven't seen temp. rise above 60° C while playing. As for negatives screen brightness is too dim & battery depletes waaayy too quick. You will not get more than 1-2 hours of gaming without battery.Ultimately for the 660$ I got this for I definitely I definitely came out on top. It's totally worth buying if you're a busy student like myself that can't spend too much money but still want high quality all purpose laptop.
Keeps crashing. It crashes from day one, it says that the GPU crashes and I can't play any game. Really disappointed. Drivers are up to date, temperature is good and everything seems okay. It just crashes and I can't play anything. Please help!
Awesome laptop; shoddy display. This laptop gets 5 stars from me because the value outweighs the shoddy display. You can play pretty much any AAA title at 60 FPS medium/high, and 60FPS is all you will need with the built in display. At medium settings connected to my external display I usually average around 170 fps in most titles, medium settings. Would highly recommend this computer to someone who wants a good budget computer without all the frills. I use it mostly as my international travel gaming laptop, which is a perfect use case as it is cheap, reliable, and very snappy.
fits my needs. first off.. I am not a gamer, am just a regular old guy with basic computer skills... I got this for the power/speed that it has. I wanted something that I would not need to change in 6 months... I am by no means a power user and I do not have the need of a lap top on my day to day but I wanted something fast enough for video editing so this fit me just perfect (I did upgrade the memory as soon as I got it). Battery life is not the greatest 3 to 4 hours tops unless you're streaming then it is less
La mejor que he tenido. Excelente capacidad y rapidez.
I have tried by seeing reviews worst laptop and the seller didn't respond properly when we need the most.. Bcoz of this i have lost two days of work pay and I didn't attend my interview. In rite time it got struck. Awful experience dont try this one

WoW Player Here - Excellent Bang for Your Buck. TLDR; This is an excellent machine for the money if you are an MMORPG player. No regrets about buying this one. It's a keeper.I recently got back into World of Warcraft after many years away and my old laptop just couldn't keep up. I started looking around at laptops capable of WoW gaming and actually tried out an MSI Stealth for a couple of weeks. It was a pretty laptop and lightweight, but man it struggled to keep up just being in a main city. Then I had a battery issue with it and decided to shop around instead of sending my brand new laptop in for work. How I use it: Play WoW, I use it for my side gig (AI Chatbots) and general doom scrolling. I don't overclock or do anything fancy to try to squeeze more out of my machine, other than minor upgrades and settings tweaks.I looked at a ton of laptops and combos of specs and finally thought I'd give this one a try. It had slightly better specs than the MSI at around the same price. This laptop is awesome. It never struggles to keep up at. I haven't done any raids yet so I don't know how it will perform in that situation but I will update once I know.Pros: performs beautifully playing World of Warcaft. Fan almost never needs to kick in, yet it also doesn't get that hot.Cons:Size/weight: this thing is heavy and huge. It packs a punch but you sacrifice portability. Yes it's a 16" laptop but I hadn't imagined just how big and heavy it would be. I have a 16" laptop for work and this is far heavier. It feels well made though. Yes you can still carry it around, but you won't want to much. I mostly keep it at home anyway so that's not a deal breaker for me.Battery life: yeah, it's pretty bad. I've been on battery power for almost an hour on "eco-mode" and it's down 15%. The power brick is also huge, so if you are communiting or traveling with this often, the weight and size of the computer with brick is going to be a drag.RAM limited to 32gb: I'm suprised such a big and powerful laptop can only take up to 32gb of ram. I have not yet upgraded my RAM yet because it's performed so well so far. I do have 32gb on hand and plan to upgrade anyway. But seeing how well it's performed so far, not having 64gb might not be an issue at all. Can't (yet) figure out how to wake from sleep with bluetooth keyboard/mouse. I have changed every possible setting under the sun, including tweaking the BIOS and it still doesn't wake on bluetooth mouse/keyboard. That's annoying. I have a really small desk that houses to 27" monitors and two laptops. I keep the laptops in a vertical stand which saves me tons of space, but it's super annoying to have to pull this thing out, open it up and wake it up.
One of the best mid-tier gaming laptops available. My gaming rig was on its way out, with an outdated i5 processor, GTX 1060 graphics card (which I paid too much for used on eBay) and 16GB of RAM, so my partner and I discussed what our next PC purchase would be. After much research, I found that the Acer Helios 300 provided a decent integrated graphics card (3060) that could play older AAA titles on Ultra, and newer ones on either High or Medium with little overclocking using stock settings most of the time. Most recently I played the Diablo IV Beta & the Resident Evil 4 remake on High settings, and it looked great on the 1920x1080 screen. On occasion I do plug it into my 4K LG Monitor, or the 4K TV in the family room via HDMI port or Mini Display Port (and doing so increasing the screen resolution to 3840x2160). At this point, its when the overclocking tool(s) become most advantageous. Yes, the fans are a bit loud, but that's normal for these devices. To combat this I pair either my Apple Airpods Max via BT or my Razer THX headset when gaming on the TV. I also use a cooling mat that has a couple fans on the bottom that help dissipate heat.I've also been using this laptop for school work which it does in a flash on anything Office 365. Webcam and built-in mic are more than enough for Zoom calls and proctored exams. This thing is overkill for school work. (Which is just an added bonus.)I've also done a bit of video editing using Adobe Premiere and it renders video files much quicker than my old PC. I'm not much of a content creator, but I imagine this computer would be great for extensive 4K video or other more complex projects. Finally, this machine has several options for expand-ability and future-proofing. Since purchasing it, I have upgraded the RAM to 32GB and have installed a second SSD drive (using the included adapter that came in the box). And I'm happy knowing that there is an empty M.2 slot available when I decide to install a third hard drive for when I need to.I have no qualms about the price, and believe it was more than fair for what's available on the market today. It's a solid mid-tier gaming laptop that's more than capable with keeping up with newer titles. With chip shortages, supply chain issues, not to mention the folks who do bitcoin mining grabbing up all the graphics cards, which in turn jack up prices to insane amounts, it was a no-brainer to replace my aging gaming rig with this laptop instead of holding out hope for a better graphics card in the future.
Excellent PC overall, gaming included. Nothing much to say, really. My main purpose reviewing is telling you about the gotchas in video for this PC. Overall, though, it is absolutely excellent. It is utra quiet even with the fans running at high speed. It does get hot, but no performance issues. What I learned about video setup: There are three display ports in this PC:1. Mini DisplayPort v1.4.2. HDMI port v2.1.3. Thunderbolt port v4 (USB-C).All display ports are capable of 4K @60Hz at least. I run my PC connected to 2 LG UltraFine 31.5in monitors at that resolution and refresh rate. However, the DisplayPort function embedded in the Thunderbolt v4 port is run by the integrated Intel HD graphics card, NOT the nVidia RTX3060 card. This is VERY IMPORTANT for gaming: The Intel integrated graphics card will NOT support DirectX 12 Ultimate. On the other hand, displays connected through ports 1 or 2 above will be un by the nVidia RTX3060 card that does support DirectX 12 Ultimate. The difference is night and day. True, I am not loading the most hardcore games ever, but still. So you get a frame of reference, my main 2 games are Age of Empires II DE and Age of Empires IV. I run both in full desktop mode, meaning the 2 monitors treated as one big monitor. AoE II DE reports consistent FPS of 60 (I have V-Sync on, which limits FPS to that of the monitor's refresh rate) with all graphics settings on. AoE IV does not seem to have a way to show the FPS, but it does run super smoothly. So there. Enjoy this super high end PC at a super low price. Oh, and you MUST use quality 8K-graded cables. FYI, the HDMI cables that shipped with my LG monitors are garbage. Get Vanky or some other reputable 8K cables.
This laptop looks great, the light up emblem on the lid is a nice touch, I got it on sale so it was certainly worth the money. it's more than fast enough for what I need it for.
Good laptop, but the seller doesn’t sent invoice, doesn’t answer his customers.
Bought this for gaming. A bit expensive, but not compared to competition, and I wanted something that I would enjoy using for several years. This laptop meets my needs and I've enjoyed the gaming experience since it arrived. Very pleased with this purchase .. and it arrived ahead or schedule!

A One Month Review .../With Update 8/28/2022. REASON FOR PURCHASE - I purchased this laptop because my Dell XPS 8100 desktop kept freezing/restarting several times a day. A fresh clean re-install of Windows 10 was not remedying the situation, and I had no desire to troubleshoot every component to see what was the underlying problem. Overall, this issue was seriously affecting my productivity, as well as sanity.POTENTIAL ALTERNATIVES - I was mainly looking for a desktop replacement - not a laptop. I checked Dell, Amazon, BestBuy, as well as other 'PC build' websites such as 'ibuypower', but found prices too high overall. Basically, the price was the driving factor for me in purchasing this laptop. The final price was slightly under $1,300 w/ taxes, and I found that to be a fair price for performance ratio.MUST HAVES - Since this was my first PC replacement in nearly 10-years, I wanted to make sure I got a 11th Gen i7 Intel processor, as well as an RTX 3000 series graphics card. I was looking for a RTX 3060ti minimum, but I could not find a match within my budget.PREVIOUS HARDWARE - My Dell XPS 8100 was still using the 1st Gen i5 650 processor, with a PNY GTX 970 updated graphics card. I honestly would have gone another year or two before changing my PC, if these freezing problems were not there.FIRST IMPRESSIONS - Seems well built - I also liked the keyboard lighting. Chassis seems solid, and I liked all the available ports on the sides. The design was appealing, being perfectly rectangle with the lid closed - no protruding sections to put the shape out of balance.HOW IT IS USED - I use this laptop as a desktop replacement - I only open the screen lid to power it on. Otherwise, I use an external monitor and keyboard.HOW OFTEN USED - I keep this laptop on for at least 8-hours a day. It was purchased roughly a month ago, so it's been used rather frequently.GAMING (@ 1080p only) - It is a notable upgrade from my Dell. Previously in games like WoW or FFXIV, I was getting under 60 FPS frequently in crowded areas. Now, I get dizzy by how quickly the screen rotates in-game, forcing me to lower the mouse-sensitivity. In WoW, I am constantly at 100 FPS with the occasional dips to 90 FPS. I'm also currently playing Ubisoft's 'The Division', but the max I can get is 60 FPS with regular dips to 47 FPS @ medium settings. Not killer performance, but a huge upgrade nevertheless.FAN NOISE - For everyday non-gaming use (i.e., web browsing), it is a low hum you can only hear if you're within 20-inches to the laptop. When gaming, it can ramp up to a constant loud whirl.HEAT - Similarly to fan noise, heat is negligible for non-gaming use. For gaming, it can get warm over time, but I use this product: 'Zimilar Monitor Stand Riser', to keep it propped up for heat dissipation. It seems to work well in keeping this laptop cool.STORAGE - It only comes with one 512GB M.2 device, so storage for my gaming needs is very limited. I looked at YouTube videos to see if it can be upgraded, but it honestly looked like a PITA to do so. So, I have invested in external SSD solutions for space.WIFI – My router is roughly 25-feet away (through walls), but I get consistent download/upload speeds with the occasional dip. No major connection loss or issues otherwise.BLOATWARE - It comes with a lot of MSi propriety software, as well as Norton Security Suite. Also, a trial version of Microsoft Office 365. I spent a good amount of time sorting through, and uninstalling a lot of them.BATTERY - I've only tested it off the plug once. Even without gaming, it was eating through the battery pretty quickly. I surmise it'd only go about 3-hours before draining out. This laptop is definitely not recommended if longevity off the plug is a priority of yours.PROBLEMS – The only ‘issue’ I’ve come across is if I’ve gamed for a long period of time, or I’ve been moving large files around. The performance of the laptop may drop significantly. I remedy this by a simple reboot, which clears up the issue. Also to note, this laptop has not frozen on me once.CONCLUSION - When I purchased this laptop, I considered it an intermediary, until I gathered the necessary funds to invest in a desktop with a minimum of RTX 3070. However, it has proven to be a mini-powerhouse. I don't play above 1080p, and I can live with medium-settings if performance seems to dip. It performs excellently on non-gaming tasks, and I now have a mobile gaming platform if I want to take it to a friend's house. All-in-all, I am quite satisfied with my purchase, and may now wait until the RTX 4000 series come out before I consider a desktop.Overall, highly recommended for purchase.--------------------------------------------------UPDATE 08/28/2022CURRENT STATUS - Yes, it's still working fine. Performance has not dipped, and I only re-installed Windows 11 once because I replaced the 512GB M.2 with a 'Samsung 970 EVO 2TB' several months ago. Also, despite being on 8-hours a day or more, the keyboard LEDs are still functioning bright. That's more than 2,900-hours that this laptop has been on since its purchase.HARDWARE ISSUES - None. Screen, ports, fans, WiFi, Bluetooth, and trackpad are all still working fine - of course given the caveat that I still strictly use an external keyboard/mouse/monitor setup.NEW REVELATIONS - Only one. Gaming off the AC Adaptor is a fool's errand. Performance throttled severely after 10-minutes because the laptop was getting so hot, and the battery lasted no more than 35-minutes tops. This was while playing 'Aliens: Fireteam' on Steam.PRODUCT OVERVIEW - I am still happy with my purchase and see no need to change for several more years. Of course, if I find myself with a lot of disposable income, I can see myself getting a new gaming desktop. But beyond that scenario, I am perfectly content with its performance and durability.
AFFORDABLE, GREAT FIRST GAMING LAPTOP. I bought this MSI Stealth 15M on September 12,2021. When I received the laptop, everything was amazing. Here are pros and cons.PRO:- Can run games such as COD, VAL, CYBERPUNK- LIGHTWEIGHT- LOTS OF STORAGE 450+ GB- DECENT PRESENTATION.- LONG LASTINGCON:- fan is very VERY LOUD especially on cooler boost mode.- CPU has trouble staying at a low temp, never goes pass 90 F but gets at a warm temperature.- GPU gets at a warm temperature, but never burns out.- Sometimes has a message saying "your PC has run into a problem" (only had it twice but still a concern)Aside from cons, I would recommend this computer for gaming start, a cheap laptop instead of a 10,000 dollar Desktop.
Awesome high performance- low batterry life- colling fan bearing failures. Im writing this review because I purchased this laptop on 03/22/2022. Today is March 1, 2023. I am two weeks away from having owned this pc for a year. The pros- super fast everything- awesome graphics- doesnt hurt the pocket as much as other gaming laptops. The cons? Battery life SUCKS- it is basically on an IV- you can adjust the settings but even on the optimal or silent condiotions, this CPU and GPU are so powerful they drain the battery in 2 hours or less- even when your not doing anything serios. Just using excel or word- battery drain. The only other con that i have that I ant pepl to be aware of- about 2 weeks ago I started having fan noise- bearings failing. I am now trying to find OEM replacements. This things spins fans at over 6000RPMs. . . yes, that is correct- 6000RPMs. I can not find fans that are rated for that high of RPMs and I need them before my PC melts down- I have always used a cooling pad as support and kept the guts clean and treated this ting like a newborn baby in terms of gentleness. It is just a parts issue- not a user/operator error. I am a MEchatronics Engineering Student and a programmer as well as a controls system specialost so my computer is my every day tool and with that said- my purposes demand quality and power as much as reliability and I take very good care of my equipment. This PC has not let me down- besides the fact that the fan bearings are barking now. I also want to mention that this little PC will support up to 4 extended displays wit hno issues, run multiple intense programs and take it all with a beating- has never went over 70 degrees celcius and i rin this littlpe puppy overclocked to the max- hence the fan issue- however that is what this PC is meant/designed/built for. If anyone knows were i can find cooling fans PLEASE let me know. I really want to replace them with high performance fans and not just run of the mill aftermarket general condition types fans. Thanks!!!!!! I deinately wisay that I do not think you will be dissapointed in your purchasse of this PC. Ii have only "gamed" on it once or twice- EVE Online and it performed flawlessly. Unbelievable graphics- a 12 hour binge with not a single issue.
Very solid laptop. Pros:Laptop has a very fast start time due to solid state driveRuns every game I play on the highest settingsWell lit and comfortable keyboardBeautiful screenFor a gaming laptop the battery life is acceptable, around 4-5 hours when doing schoolwork.Able to change keyboard colorFeels sturdy with an aluminum body.Lightweight.Cons:I have read that, though the video card is capable of running VR; their are some complications in running VR. I have not tried this myself, but it is something you might want to research before buying. The speakers are a bit more quiet than I would prefer them to be. I use a headset when gaming so it is hardly an issue. The fans are pretty loud on the highest setting, however I rarely need to have them on this setting.Overall I am very pleased with the laptop. It arrived in perfect condition and protected by 2 boxes. It was easy to set up and has not caused me any issues.

Randomly Crashes. When playing online games that use more internet it randomly crashes, not sure if its my internet or just the laptop. You should consider this when looking at buying one
Cheap 3060. It's a bargain. It's one of the cheapest laptops you can get with a 3060 in it that's almost on the same level as the desktop version and it's overclockable. I'd definitely recommend it if you want a portable workhorse but the battery life is lacking. If I change all the settings to battery saving options I could maybe get 2 hours of battery life just doing basic school work and web browsing.
Rendering video. Performs great at rendering 360 degree 5k video. I run a big excel program and it plays my games with no problem. The red backlit keyboard is also nice. Haven't had any problems with overheating
