IIT Guwahati is preparing a chatbot ‘ALBELA’ based on Artificial Intelligence technology. The institute says that this AI chatbot will not only teach the students of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) stream of the first year but will also clear the dots related to their subject and give the right answers to their questions.
When will the students tell the exam
- Professor Praveen Kumar of the EEE Department says that this chatbot will serve around 850 students of the department. For the past seven months, the research scholar team has been working hard to make it. Before trialing it or using it for the organization, we took help from IBM to complete the project.
- According to Praveen Kumar, it is being designed in such a way that it will give correct and accurate answers to the questions related to the topic asked by the students. Apart from this, it will provide them all kinds of information related to the tutorial schedule and examination. It will clear the dots for both technical and non-technical subjects as well as give them information like textbooks, reference books and notes.
- The team says that this chatbot will also produce question paper. In future, more top services will be added to it, through which students will also get facilities like Attendance, Marks and find any specific information from many documents.
