Amazing sound for the price. The media could not be loaded.  Amazing sound for the price. It’s not Bose, JBL or Harmon quality but it’s good enough for my medium-sized living room. The soundbar is the perfect size for cart-style TV stands with a small rack. Other soundbars are ridiculously oversized. The bass is clean and not overpowering. Note the rear speakers are not true wireless and they have cables to connect to the bass, which is wireless. However, for the best sound you’ll probably want the bass behind your couch, along with the rear speakers, so this design is fine with me.This does process Atmos signals, but I needed a high-speed HDMI 2.1 cable to get it working with my Samsung TV’s eARC port. The included cable is not 2.1, so be aware. Also note, it’s not true Atmos sound as there are no up-firing speakers. The Bluetooth is quick and snappy to connect, sounds very clean. I also tested the optical out, which sounds just as good as the eARC, but it won’t support Atmos.Overall very happy with this purchase. Looking forward to seeing how this company grows.
Beat bang for buck. Easy to set up and great sound. I saw some negative reviews before i bought this, but their expectations must have been way out of line. My 5 year old nakamichi system was almost $600, the woofer basically broke. No rough moves or anything. And it always had weird bugs ever since i got it. I figured this sound system wouldnt be as good but at least the base would work. I was floored when i heard this ultimea system. For less than 200 this really packs a punch. Im not too rough on a sound system. I never blast it all crazy. But this handles music, movies, and games better than my nakamichi ever did. And no glitchy bugs either! So I’m really happy with this system and surprised at the good quality. So i think its better than the next financial tier up. Id recommend this system to anyone looking for a living room sound system.
Pretty good, but it's limits may affect how well it works for you. Not hard to set up. Sound quality is decent but forget having a wide sound field because the front speakers are so close to each other. Speech is very clear and the speakers are quite loud. Connectivity is an issue that could bite you.For example Bluetooth is very easy to set up, but when you turn the TV off it won't find the speakers (on my TV at least) so you have to put the speakers in discoverable mode, switch the TV back to Bluetooth and select the speakers. So I don't use the speakers all the time, just when I'm going to watch a movie or concert. You could use the optical connection, but then you have to control the speaker volume separately; it's not controlled by the TV. You might need a third-party remote to be able to control the audio, or use the speaker remote just for volume. No insurmountable but something to consider. If your TV has eARC HDMI Out, that's another possibility but my TV was a closeout model and didn't have that. I haven't tried USB to connect them so I can't comment on that.I'm okay with my purchase as I only need the extra volume for music and movies, and the TV stays on while I'm watching so I just have to connect beforehand.
dolby atmos soundbar. Wow! I'm impressed the sound is good a definite must have for your tv speakers upgrade. It' got all the necessarry features and connection accessory for your tv. It's got a bluetooth, optical aux and hdmi arc/earc, plug and play.Definite must have and buy you'll never go wrong and it's the cheapest in the market I think sound quality is good for your room or small living space. Thumbs up
Suprisingly Great. I installed this in a smaller game room for my kids, the sound is amazing for such a cheap small unit. only issue is with a small room the volume is quite loud hardly ever go past volume level 3.
Sounds great until it crackles. EDIT: all speakers started crackling after 2 days. Returned.-Sounds better than I thought it would. Good surround. Good bass. This Poseidon d60 replaced my atmos receiver setup. The only issue I have is the lack of adjusting volume. You can't adjust the sound in small increments. Also, there are ZERO instructions on what the 3 EQ settings do. You have to experiment with the EQ.Otherwise. Sounds great.
Review from an Audiophile stepping down from a $6000 Denon setup. Let's get one thing straight: At less than $200, this entire Ultimea system costs less than *ONE* REAR SURROUND SPEAKER from my old 7.1 setup. Does it sound as good as my Denon receiver with full-size speakers and 12" subwoofer? Not even close. But that would be like comparing a bicycle to a Ferrari. You have to review the bicycle for *what it is*, not complain that it won't do 180mph on the highway. So, with that context, FOR THE PRICE, this Ultimea system is solid. It's immersive, sounds decent from your primary sitting position, and features crystal-clear dialogue. If you're stepping up from TV speakers, it's a bazillion times better. I would liken it to a decent car stereo system -- that's what it reminds me of in overall sound. About on par with my Cadillac DTS in terms of overall sound. "Good enough," but not OMG WOW INCREDIBLE. I just don't think you're going to get "OMG" sound from anything approaching this price point, so I wasn't expecting that. The sounds this produces are good enough and faithful enough to be enjoyable. What more can you ask for sub-$200?No, it's not going to sound like a concert hall the way a 4000 watt system can -- to me, this seems self-evident, and the people expecting a $180 system to do that are just living in a bizarre fantasy world and need to adjust their expectations to align with reality. If you want room-filling sound with perfect frequency response and house-shaking bass, then invest in a $6000 system and then you can complain if THAT still doesn't work.Bottom line, for what I paid, I'm happy with it. The only way I could imagine it sounding better is if it cost way more money. A good purchase, in my book.p.s.- the "crackling" referenced by another reviewer is usually due to wireless interference (the rear sub/surround setup is wireless) from a router or similar, as opposed to being an actual problem with the system. Try moving your router a few feet away and see if that resolves it.

The media could not be loaded.
This sounds system is incredible. Even though the speakers are fairly small compared to other subs bar sets, the quality is big affected by this. It really does give a surround sound effect, with crisp, clear sound and great powerful bass - the balance is great. It was also so easy to set up out of the box, I had no issues at all.
I have been after a soundbar for a while. But have struggled to get on as my TV is soooo old! However, this soundbar has the option for several connection methods, like the eARC, but more importantly AUX, as my TV has only this option. So I was very pleased to be able to set up the soundbar with my Panasonic TV. I like that you can connect the subwoofer and surround speakers separately to the main soundbar. So you don't have wires all over the place.I don't have the most experience with soundbars. But I find that the bass and surround seems a bit too loud compared the speaking when watching TV. There are only 3 settings to fiddle around with, so not the most advanced. The tv sound doesn't stop either, so with my TV I have to turn the volume off so it's not playing through both.I think it's a pretty good soundbar, and a good entry level one.
The media could not be loaded.

Audiophile on a budget? This is what you want/need. I will update this as I need to, but I waited nearly a month to make sure this unit didn't turn out like the Pyle unit I had to return before buying this. So, thoughts after the first month -I came from a decent, but older (2005 or so) Yamaha receiver that eventually died on me. I figured a new unit wouldn't sound too different or much better after the initial tweaking and setup outside of going from 5.1 to 7.1. I already had a decent 7.1 for my computer setup, so I knew what to expect in a general sense when getting this for my living room.Well, I was pleasantly surprised, even setup with the same speakers in a 5.1 configuration, the audio was noticeably better in every way. Not a "night and day, OMG SO much better" kind of way, but definitely noticeable to even my non-audiophile wife. Going from that 5.1 setup to 7.1 was also a nice step up, as one could assume, but I wanted to test 5.1 vs 5.1 as best I could first, and as stated, it excelled in that regard.Paired with a range of oddities for my speaker setup (my front speakers being some huge Peavey monitors lol) it works well, just don't pair this with some dollar store cheapos, and you'll be happy I am sure.TLDR - Is this a top tier unit that will impress the most snobbish of ears? No.Is it a heck of a step up from any sound bar/built in TV speaker/most older AVRs? Most definitely. You get more than what you pay for here. Even if it isn't the top shelf unit we all want, it is way more than enough for the every man and good enough for an audiophile on a budget.Pros - value, overall sound quality is "more than enough", sturdy, easy to setup.Cons - nothing fancy (as expected from this price range), sound quality isn't the very best (also as expected). So... Really no major gripes.
Great sound. Easy setup. Had Sony products for years with my Dad working for them. Had several surround sound receivers but they left something to be desired sound wise. I switched over to Marantz ten years ago and was very happy with the sound. Unfortunately the Marantz gave out and I could not talk my wife into letting me spend the money again. This Sony was such a great deal, and reviews had all brands very close, I went for it. I have been very impressed. Setup was easy. The sound is tremendous both with movies and music. It is pretty straight forward as far as options go but that’s ok.
Impressive Performance and Great Value: Sony STR-DH790 AV Receiver. Title: Impressive Performance and Great Value: Sony STR-DH790 AV Receiver ReviewI recently purchased the Sony STR-DH790 AV receiver as a replacement for my previous Sony receiver that fell victim to a lightning strike. I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with this receiver, as it offers excellent performance and represents great value for the price. One of the standout features of the STR-DH790 was it's compatibility with my 7.1 speaker configuration. Setting up the speakers was a breeze, thanks to the automated speaker setup and the included microphone. The receiver seamlessly integrated with my speakers, ensuring an optimal audio experience. The eArc HDMI connection proved to be a valuable addition, particularly as I had also replaced my TV due to the lightning strike. With this feature, I was able to control both the TV and receiver using the same remote, simplifying my entertainment setup. The compatibility between the receiver and my new TV worked flawlessly, providing a hassle-free experience. When it comes to sound quality, the STR-DH790 delivers. The audio output is impressive, although it may be slightly limited in terms of sound effects. However, considering the receiver's budget-friendly nature, I am more than satisfied with the performance it offers. This is my first Dolby Atmos receiver, and I must admit, it has made me a believer in the immersive audio experience it provides. The only minor drawback I encountered was the receiver's power output. There were instances where I felt the need to increase the volume beyond 50% for certain content. However, I suspect this might be due to a misconfiguration on my part, as the receiver should ideally provide ample power. I will delve further into the settings to ensure optimal performance. To sum it up, the Sony STR-DH790 AV receiver exceeded my expectations, especially considering its price point. It offers impressive performance, easy setup, seamless integration with other devices, and a captivating audio experience. Despite a minor concern with power output, I highly recommend this receiver to anyone seeking an affordable yet capable solution for their home theater setup. Two thumbs up!
I've been using this for a few years now and haven't felt the need to upgrade. This is used mainly as my PC sound output with my second monitor receiving video. It is going from my GPU to the receiver with an HDMI cable. I thoroughly have been enjoying the sound reproduction. I don't have any problems other than some noise/distortion when running Multi-Stereo, even then it's a minor nuisance depending on what's being listened to. I would have liked the sampling rate to go higher but for the price it's fine at 24 bit 192khz. With Atmos enabled in Windows you don't get a choice of changing the sampling rate anyways.Originally I wanted a 2 channel receiver but the price I got this for at the time was amazing compared to the 2 channel and other 7.2 units. The Dolby Atmos is wonderful to have, it adds a decent amount of immersion. Thankfully in Windows 10/11 you don't need to purchase anything to have Atmos running but depending on the source it's a bit of a pain to switch back and forth between Atmos and Stereo. Having Atmos, or anything above 2.1, enabled and listening to stereo sources will run only the fronts and sub with no sound to the other speakers, but that's a Windows and the selected media/streaming player problem.Unfortunately I'm using a bunch of different speakers, Polk Signature S20 fronts, Polk CS10 center, Dayton Audio B452-AIR and some old speakers I've changed the drivers and the crossovers. I still feel as though I can't complain about that with the setup options. It can be adjusted by a menu on screen or from the screen on the receiver with the remote. Remote is simple and has all the necessary functions. There is no wifi connection, but since I'm using it strictly with my PC it doesn't matter to me. The Bluetooth functions as it should but it's a bit lacking in formats, which doesn't matter to me either. With a firmware update it does EARC, the update process is fast and easy.
Do not know at this point. A Christmas present.

This soundbar is the new gateway to Dolby Atmos. After doing a lot of product hunting, I was really excited about this soundbar. I almost jumped the gun on a few others, but I'm glad I waited for this one. If you're looking for an entry soundbar to go in your family room and don't know what Dolby Atmos is, then I'll be honest: this is not the home theater setup for you. There are plenty of other systems that perform well for hundreds of $ cheaper, including the Vizio V series line of speakers, which you can also get in 5.1.If you have heard of Atmos or want the newest middle-ground speaker, then this is it. Before you click the "Buy Now" button, make sure you are ready to take advantage of Atmos, though. You'll want to make sure your TV supports it (if it has eARC label on an HDMI port, then you're good), the content you're watching supports it, the device you are using supports it, and that all of your settings are correct across the board (for example some TVs disable ARC by default and this should be enabled). If you have all of those things, then this tops it off. The included HDMI cable is ARC so you can use that to connect the soundbar. Make sure you use the port labeled eARC on the soundbar and the TV. HDMI is the best method, you don't want to have to use optical if you don't have to.For my full review:Pros:*All-around sound is great. I've watched only a few hours of various types of shows and it does a good job of handling lots of dialogue, or a sporting event, or a highly dramatic scene. You won't be absolutely blown away, but depending on what you were using before this could be a major game-changer. At the end of the day, it sucks me into the content and that's all I need.*Left and right speakers have PLENTY of cord length. I didn't look into it, but I would guess somewhere between 20 to 25 feet of cable for each side speaker and they connect to the sub which is wireless but obviously needs power. One end of each side cable has an L-shaped plug while the other is straight. Make sure you know which one you want to feed through the tube of a speaker stand before setting up so you know where your cable is going to go. Only the straight plug will fit through most stands. Read the manual for setup, but in case you miss it, the blue plug is the left speaker and the gray plug is the right speaker. The speakers themselves have color-coding on the inside of the ports as well to help.*Soundbar itself is kind of big compared to others but has a pretty low profile which makes it great for fitting right in front of the TV and not being in the way.*Upfiring speakers are much better at providing Atmos sound compared to the digital/"fake" up-firing speakers that I have heard in some other soundbars.*Remote is a nice upgrade with the digital display that makes it easy to change inputs.Cons:*Depending on what content you're watching and if it's in surround sound, I noticed that it can take the speaker about 5-10s for it to start playing a sound while the TV is already playing video. It was also out of sync (ahead) by about half a second, but I corrected this in TV settings by adding delay.*Bluetooth was slow to connect, even slower to start playing music compared to the video as mentioned in the bullet above. Not terrible, but there shouldn't be such a long delay between pressing play and it actually playing music. That's why I give it 4 stars on Bluetooth. Everything else about BT is fine.*EQ and level settings on the remote are... bleh. What's strange is you can go through the levels, like Bass for example, and change it to either + or -. Only once in each direction. And when you hit something like "+" you now have to pick between + or - because there is no way to return it back to neutral for that setting. I wish there were more levels to the levels. I would definitely recommend turning Bass and Height Speakers to +, possibly also turning the side speakers to +. For the weird EQ settings on the remote, I gave it 4 stars on remote.I am personally pairing these speakers with an LG 65NANO85 2021 TV, a Chromecast with Google TV, and tried it with Netflix (Sophie documentary was a dolby atmos title, according to Netflix). If you are using Netflix, you need to be on the premier plan to get Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, by the way. I had only planned to watch about 10 minutes at first, but once I sat there, the visuals and the speakers absolutely drew me in and I couldn't stop. Not only did it sound crisp and clear, but I felt like I was in the room. I couldn't really notice the Atmos effect while watching, but it made me feel surrounded and it felt very natural. It was one of the closest feelings I've had to being in a movie theater sound system at home that wasn't some audiophile's home setup. For $500 (It will likely fall to $450 on sales, maybe even a $400 price tag sometime??), I truly believe it is a good value. This is practically the cheapest way to get into true Atmos entertainment right now and I'm definitely happy I did. Since this is a pretty new product at the time of review, I'm hoping others get in on what a great system this is. You're not going to be getting perfect audio and this isn't the top-of-the-line stuff, but I really think this will check a lot of boxes and be a very convenient solution for a lot of people that want to enjoy their shows and movies immersively.
Great sound quality for the price. Easy to assemble. Provides a variety of sound functions with good quality. The volume of spoken dialogue in movie mode is low and hard to hear. I would prefer if the dialogue was louder but the sound effects are very clear. I would recommend for the over-all quality at a decent price.
Good sound for the money, but there is an issue. Pros:- Good sound for the price. Bass from the quite small 6" woofer is surprisingly tight and strong...for the size- Decent options for editing sound profiles- Easy to setup and get workingCons:There is basically just one con and many have addressed this in the reviews. Inconsistent operation.- Strange and loud pops, twice, from the soundbar so far- Volume decreased by itself 3 or 4 times, but not in the last couple weeks.- HERE's the BIG ONE: it eventually just stops working altogether. I believe the real fix for it is to pull the power from the soundbar. Many times I've just done everything such as reconnecting cables, restarting the TV and then pulling the power on the soundbar, but my most recent tests seemed to indicate that removing the power from the soundbar is the quickest way to get it back up and running. This is a clear indication that Vizio has an issue somewhere. I've confirmed that it IS on their most recent firmware version so that is not the issue and it obviously was not the fix that many had hoped for. I considered returning it but since we just moved and there has been so much to deal with, I'm just going to place this soundbar on it's own power strip with an on off switch so that I can quickly and easily reset the bar when needed.SummaryMost people would not want to have to deal with these kinds of issues with a brand new product so my recommendation is that most buyers stay away from this product. But since the sound quality overall is pretty good, at this point I'm fairly confident that my workaround of power resetting the bar every week or two will be quick and easy and cost effective. I actually had to do this, but less frequently with my old 10" Kliptsch Subwoofer so not a biggie for me.UPDATEI did put the soundbar on its own power strip which is easy to reach yet still hidden. When the soundbar decides to stop working, which these days is about every 2-3 weeks or so, I turn off the power strip for a 1-3 minutes and then power it back up. That gets ts it working again. Also, it's been many months since we've heard any of the odd pops we heard soon after the purchase. So given the price I paid and the pretty good sound out of it and this easy workaround, I upped the rating to 4 stars. Still, shame on Vizio for letting this out without a proper fix.
The media could not be loaded.
Easily the best speakers I got. Surround sound is phenomenal, subwoofer makes you feel like your in a movie theatre, definitely worth the wait.Only things I'll say, for UK residents definitely get a UK Plug for the power plugs for the main speaker and subwoofer and also find one locally then buying one from America.Other then that highly recommended 10/10 would be again
If you live outside the US, make sure you buy a compatible power supply/adapter separately because regardless of where you order from you'll be sent a US power cable. Shame they don't just send the correct power supply cable for your country. I've also spoken to their customer service and they said they can't solve this issue because they're a US based company

Clear and loud. Preface: I have a 10'x12' room I've converted to a home theater with a 100" projector screen. I also have a large Hi-Fi with Magneplanar 1.7i speakers and an Emotiva stack. I use a PS4 for my base BD player and an Intel-based Windows workstation as a streaming device for both my video content and as a SteamBox for gaming. The room is treated with sound absorbing panels and drapery to help with bass-trapping and unwanted reflections. The rears are on common triangle-style podium stands I hand-built and are secured in place with 20lb sandbags. The Center is on a custom bench I made (with triangle-style pillar legs) over the center-aligned Subwoofer directly underneath the center-point of the projection screen. Unfortunately, 92" of the wall's 108" width is taken up with the projection screen, and the room having a somewhat short length, means that the speakers have to be butted up against the walls both front/back and the sides, so, they have very sub-optimal placement.Review: With all of that said, these things are LOUD, clear as CRYSTAL, and after treating the room with foam diffusers, setting up the room-correction on my receiver, and adjusting the PS4/Windows to accommodate the 5.1+Atmos (where possible), the stereo and positional effects are GREAT! Music has clear and broad soundstage, image separation is quite good for an HT setup (at least as good as my Denon receiver can produce), and music playback is not nearly as good as my full audiophile setup but is still impeccable for a 5.1 (even in multi-channel stereo using the rears/center along with just the towers.)I slighted the bang-for-buck score to 4/5 because, while these clearly out-perform my previous Fluance 5.1 bundle, that was 200$ with a 200$ separate sub, and the audio quality was about 80% of what this provides at more than 3x the cost. Audio equipment does not scale linearly, so as components get better, their price scales out of phase with the quality gains, and with THAT in mind, these are a very reasonable price when compared with audiophile gear and provide anywhere from 90-95% of the quality I've seen from boutique/designer brands at 2-5x the cost, so these ARE still quite a good bang-for-buck, but only when you're in a place where you're trying to eke out whatever boost you can over the base 80/20-ROI curve. IMO these are pretty top-tier in their price bracket and there may be some min-maxing to do in the sub-$2k window compared to these and whatever individual needs someone may have, but you will have to jump into the $5k+ window (and upgrade into substantially better amplifier, source, and room infrastructure) before you will hear any tangible acoustic benefits.
Thundering Bass and pure highs with the perfect amount of mids. No need to go to the movies anymore. The sound is incredible. Paired with my Sony STR-AN1000 receiver i'm super happy with the way this surround sound solution makes movies come to life! Quality connections and the bass rocks the house!
Love these speakers. So far, the speakers sounds amazing. One tower was delivered with slight damage to the rear corner but it does not seem to affect performance
Not an illusion! Totally worth it. I have been an audio head for as long as I can remember and I’ve always wanted a great set of speakers for my home entertainment system, but was always discouraged by the price. I recently purchased a Denon 3700 AV receiver and was looking to purchase a new set of surround speakers that would work with the Dolby Atmos feature. I was overwhelmed by the pricing of decent speakers at the retailer I was shopping at, BB. So I took my shopping online. At first I was worried because the fine print said it was “not a matched set”. Did not matter. All outwards appearances match. The speakers work very well together and sound amazing. The front floor speakers are crisp and clean. Such an improvement from the Polk speakers I was previously running. My wife, who does not like loud surround sound sounds, has been doing nothing but wanting to watch different movies since setting these up. Bang em up, shoot em up, explosion type movies! Could not be happier. And for the price?! Definitely could not be happier. If your ears have been waiting for relief and your sitting on the fence wondering if you should order these or not, I am here to tell you to order these now and you won’t be discouraged. They are amazing! Too bad my next door neighbors don’t agree! Ha! Cheers!
Really Good Sound System/Read Update. System was delivered appropriately, on time and well packaged. Packaging is a must, Atmos Tower speakers are really heavy, box displayed obvious bumping around, produce was in good shape upon examination. This Atmos Klipsch R625H system is an upgraded, form a 15 year old Magnolia system. A Denon 7.2 R760FA is used to push the system. I use the entire system with 2 Klipsch subwoofers. System come with sound calibration mic & stand, very effective on screen instructions for complete setup. I figured I was missing something sound wise with previous system, which was a decent system. This Klipsch system has provided clearer clarity. Sound system produce perfect sounds whether enjoying music, movies or sports. Based on my research, this is a very quality system that does not break the bank. No regrets!Update: I feel it's important to include an issue with the base/stand. that requires installing by screws into Atmos Speakers. During my reading of reviews, purchaser noted that while attempting to install stands on base of speaker, they found it difficult. Purchasers noted that the screws provided were not well made, and literally broke while attempting to screw them into base of speaker. This is a real issue. I experience this problem, and was very frustrated. I chose not to attach the base/stand on either speaker. There appears to be no adverse effect on sound due to not using stand/base. My previous tower speakers did not have a base, so I decided to go without on my new Klipsch. Speaker appears stable and functional without the base. It seems the base is for more cosmetic purpose. Anyway, I felt strongly about the base of the Atmos Speaker only assembly process, that my review warranted modification and addressing this problem. The screws used to fasten base to bottom of speakers are junk. This does not take away from the systems function. For a quality system, designers fell extremely short on 8 screws. I change my stars from 5, to 4. Very frustrating assembling process.
Great upgrade. I bought these to upgrade my system. They sound great! Very happy with the purchase! I wish the cost wasnt so high. It looks like it was closer to $800-$900 back in 2020/2021.
Prompt delivery, great price. Despite buying during the holidays and expecting shipping delays the order arrived ahead of schedule. If the opportunity to buy from them again, I will not hesitate!

Easy to Set Up; Quirky in Handling Inputs. This system arrived well packed in a shipping container that contained several sub-containers for the receiver, the subwoofer, and the various speakers. A separate bag contained a set of speaker cables and other items.Setup was not terribly difficult, although the instructions are, to say the least, very concise (i.e., brief). Helpfully, the leads for each speaker have a unique color code, with matching color panels on the terminals behind the speakers. The leads for the front speakers (center, left, and right) are plenty long enough. The leads for the surround speakers are barely long enough, and I may end up getting some additional wire in order to run the leads in a more elegant manner. The subwoofer is connected with a single audio cable with an RCA plug on each end, and must be plugged into its own AC power outlet. Somehow the subwoofer can sense when the receiver is on, and powers itself up and down accordingly. There is very little guidance on setting up the system, or explaining what the different surround sound selections actually mean. We're still in a trial-and-error phase on this. With a Blu-Ray disc containing surround sound, the effect is noticeable. I goosed up the surround speakers a click or two.My only real critique -- and this may be something that happens with a lot of receivers -- is that this receiver is very persnickety about its input sources. If the receiver is turned on before the source (such as a Blu-Ray player or Apple TV box), the receiver will not recognize it. It is necessary to turn the receiver off again, then power up the source box, then start the receiver again. That usually fixes the problem. Presumably this is a phenomenon of the annoying HDCP protocol that we must all suffer through. The sound quality is surprisingly good for this price point, and it is wonderful to have a center channel speaker. Previously we were hearing Blu-Ray disks in simple stereo, and many times the dialogue got lost. Now, with the center channel speaker, we can hear dialogue easily. The subwoofer adds a decent amount of "floor" to the sound. The receiver comes with a microphone that can be plugged in for system setup. We have not performed that as yet, but will someday. It will be interesting to see if that makes any difference.
DEFECTIVE OUT OF THE BOX. No sound out of the box. Not even a crackle out of the speakers with the radio on (best way to verify). Onkyo must have no quality control because there was no damage to the box. Now I have to wait almost 2 weeks for Amazon to pick up and up to another 2 weeks until I get my refund after that. Stay away from Onkyo products! Especially this one. No tech support either
The media could not be loaded.
If the product was not damaged think in be a great system sounded great wanted to keep it. Still waiting for refund. But company messaged back right away.
Vale la pena invertir en este teatro

This sounds great. This was for a small 8x16 shop. Had medium size flat screen for youtube watching while working on things. Sound was lame. So I purchased this soundbar for the inexpensive price. I am really surprised at the amount of sound coming from such a small unit. Really easy to set up. About ten minutes and this was up and running. Working with my remote too. So I don't even use the remote that is supplied with it. I did install batteries in it anyway. Great purchase. I am satisfied.
Good value, excellent customer support. My LG smart TV's sound is considerably better with this sound bar and subwoofer, which is also quite simple to set up. I installed these by connecting the HDMI ARC to the supplied HDMI cable. My EQ settings didn't really need to be adjusted in order to enjoy excellent sound quality from the soundbar. This sound bar is well-made, reasonably priced, portable, and user-friendly; it receives five stars. For the price, this soundbar is fantastic. If your TV is an LG OLED or Samsung QLED, you should be able to connect it with a single HDMI ARC connection, which will let you use the TV remote to operate the soundbar as if it were a part of the TV itself. Strongly suggest this soundbar if you want optical connections and don't mind using two remotes or setting up a learning remote. It is a huge upgrade over most flat screen internal speakers.
It’s decent. Fairly “boomy” but you can mess around with the bass levels. Has a movie, music, and gaming setting on the remote, Bar is way smaller than the pics suggest at 15 3/4 inch. That being said, it gets loud. Only picked it up because it was discounted. Did not come with batteries for the remote. Overall it’s good for the price!
Amazing sound. Elevate Your Audio Experience with the Ultimate SoundbarAre you tired of lackluster sound quality from your TV? Look no further than this Soundbar! This sleek and stylish addition to my entertainment setup has truly transformed my viewing experience. From the moment I plugged in the soundbar, I was blown away by the clarity and depth of the sound. Whether I'm watching movies, gaming, or streaming my favorite music, every sound comes through crisp and clear. The built-in subwoofer delivers impressive bass without any distortion, adding an immersive element to my entertainment.Setup was a breeze – just plug in a few cables and you're ready to go. Plus, the sleek design seamlessly blends into any home decor, and the compact size doesn't take up much space, making it perfect for smaller living rooms or apartments. But the real star of the show is the sound quality. Dialogue is crystal clear, and even subtle background noises are brought to life with impressive detail. The Soundbar truly enhances every aspect of my audio experience, making me feel like I'm right in the middle of the action.Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase of the Ultimea Soundbar. If you're looking to take your home entertainment to the next level, look no further. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
Very good product. I put this in my cart, then watched the price yo-yo for several days before it stabilized. I have to say, this would be a good buy at full price. When unboxing, it seemed impossible that something this size would output much sound but I’m happy to say I was wrong. This had so much low end even at the lowest setting, that it was causing my other components to rattle. Still, the sound quality was very good. A few day after I received this, I was contacted by the manufacturers rep, saying they have developed some upgrades to the firmware, and to let them know what my preference for sound quality and EQ. I chose the upgrade that allowed lower bass levels and quieter initial volume, and it’s perfect for me. I totally recommend this for anyone wanting to upgrade but not spend a whole lot of money. The only negative is that the CEC stopped working the way I expected and the sound bar stays on for a period of time before it shuts off.NOTE* The description on Amazon, and the owners manual both state that for best results, all of your streaming devices AND your TV need to have the eARC capabilities, or you will be disappointed. On a final note: It would be nice if the manufacturer developed an app that can be used with the tv interface to fine tune the EQ and fine tune the subwoofer output. Then this would be just dandy. Also, the customer service reps are really great and responsive so that is another big plus for this.
very nice system. I love the wide range of sound, and the clarity is very good. high is crisp, decent mid, and solid bass. It packs a bang for considering it's size. Definately update the firmware... the low volume was not quiet enough, and there is a patch that will fix that... I like it.
I recently purchased this product from Amazon and overall, I'm quite satisfied with my purchase. The packaging was excellent - it arrived in a sturdy box with ample cushioning to protect it during transit. This attention to detail gave me confidence that the product inside would be in good condition, and I was not disappointed. In terms of manufacture quality, it's decent but not outstanding. While it doesn't scream luxury, it also doesn't feel flimsy. It seems to be built to last for regular use, which is what I was hoping for at this price point.Considering the price I paid, I believe it offers reasonable value for money. It serves its purpose well and fits within my budget. I've been using it for a few weeks now and haven't encountered any major issues.Overall, if you're looking for a product that comes well-packaged, offers decent quality, and is reasonably priced, this could be a good option for you. Just keep in mind that it might not have the premium feel of higher-end alternatives, but it gets the job done without breaking the bank
The media could not be loaded.  The sound bar and sound quality is good as also the subwoofer. Connecting to the tv via ARC cable is good but sometimes is just losing connection when listening to Netflix (is not all the time). On the optical cable is also very good quality sound. The remote is easy to use.Soundbar has a led display and shows what options is between Bluetooth, ARC, Optical, AUX, Coaxial, USB . however on the display doesn't show which option of the sound is the current: bass/movie/game/musicThe bass is perfect and I can see and feel the difference.I hope my video, picture and review can help you decide.

Really works. I was skeptical that these would make a noticable difference. Pleased to say I was wrong.Since new I had been using my 8 year old 7.1 channel Onkyo TX-NR646 in a 5.1 configuration and was ok with the sound. Using it in simple Dolby Prologic yielded the most tolerable surround sound experience. Ok but not good.I saw these speakers come up for sale and figured I would experiment with Atmos speakers before replacing the Onkyo, which is still working just fine. After mounting these Atmos speakers on top of the L and R main speakers (also Klipsch), and with a little bit of level calibration to my tastes, I can say that the sound field is greatly extended. Dolby Atmos content sounds far more immersive and directional sound effects travel more vividly around and overhead.I can understand now the appeal of 11 channel systems. Installing additional overhead speakers would be a bit more effort than what I want to deal with right now in my family room and until I make that leap I will happily enjoy this old Onkyo finally working to its full potential powering a 5.1.2 setup.
Best mounted up on wall but still nice extra surround sound if on top of mains. So far I have these on top of my mains (RP8000Fs). Definitely a much better separation of sound coming from above when these are mounted higher on the wall. That's going to be a project for me mainly due to wire management, I don't want the wires dangling on the wall & would need to hire an electrician to drill holes & snake the wires through. Too lazy to do all that now but sound is sound, and the extra sound coming from these is more immersive than not having them. My ceilings are 8', supposedly the upfiring design makes sound bounce off the ceiling if 8', very subtle though & still not the same as mounting them on the wall. If you have taller ceiling or cathedral ceilings, there is likely zero "upfiring" benefit you could hear. But hey, they look cool sitting on the towers lol. In my setup it's easier having these then two extra rears for 7.1, so I am going with 5.1.2Another advantage is the option of a Dialogue lift with my AVR, meaning the center dialogue can get added & spread out to the Atmos speakers in addition to the center channel. For that purpose it's better having these on top of the tower speakers so the sound is coming from the TV. Mounted up high, that feature may sound odd.I cross these over to the sub at 100 hz, I hear most people use that or 120. Atmos speakers are not designed to handle any significant bass, not even effectively down to 80 hz.My overall system these are playing with: AVR - Yamaha Aventage A2A. Two Outlaw Monoblock Amps 2220 powering the fronts (RP8000Fs). This frees up the AVR power more for the other surround speakers including these, making them all come to life a bit more. Center is RP500C & rears are RP500M. Sub is SVS SB3000.Very happy with these as part of a very enjoyable upgrade I have made to my sound system over the past month. Also, especially with Atmos, a total waste of money going with the Gen 2 substantially more $. Gen 2 is the same speaker big picture, just with tweaks to very subtly change the midrange. The subtle difference is for critical music listening, totally not worth it & at times depending on the song I actually preferred how the Gen 1 sounded. But when going to surrounds, especially Atmos, not going to hear any difference so my recommendation is don't spend about twice as much for the Gen 2. If I was willing to spend twice as much, I'd save up a bit to add a bit more and make a real upgrade - to the next tier of speakers. Like the RF7iii or Heritage Forte iv. Maybe down the road I do. Until then I'll keep thoroughly enjoying the current upgrades I made to an entry level Polk set up I had the last 11 years.
quality product. Good sound quality
Awesome Atmos Sound. So I've heard alot about atmos, and the sound it provides. I wasn't really sure if I was gonna be able to tell the difference, but I was wrong. At first, I had this setup in the back of the room as my heights and they just didn't sound great, but after about a day I moved them to the top middle of the room (I have an odd-shaped room) and wow the sound was crazy.I tried a couple of movies after getting the volumes set correctly. The first movie I tested based on recommendations online was Ready Player One, followed by The Matrix remastered, and can honestly say the movies sounded new, you could hear things that you didn't notice before.Edit: I have 2 more sets on order now, so that I can do a 5.2.6 config they really good (now i have to run the wires behind the walls)
The sound very good. It's my first time with Atmos. And I had fears I would be disappointed. But it really sound good.
Perfect for our use
Unreal experience listening to 7.1 Atmos with these speakers.
Amazing speakers. I decided to put them left and right of the seating area at the top of the wall so they naturally pointed diagonally towards the sofaI use them for atmos on my 7.1.2 system. If i wasn't restricted on space then I'd upgrade mu front centre speaker to this line too.
Superbe, son spatial comme au cinéma

Great Soundbar, awesome upgrade from my wired setup. I bought this soundbar a few months ago, I was tired of the wired management with my older system (Sony 7.2 Channel Surround System) and thought wireless would be allot cleaner and easy. I also bought the RS5 rear speakers along with this for better sound immersion and coverage. That all being said, it's great I'm really happy with it. Shows, music and movies come in clear and haven't had distortions or connectivity issues.I use my old XBOX ONE as a glorified ROKU or FIRE player and it does the job. The soundbar comes with an HDMI IN and HDMI OUT and it's simple plug and play. If you have multiple things you plan on using then a HDMI switch would be a good investment. The 5000 is a big, long boy and has a little weight to it and I didn't want to use the wall mount/shelf holders that came with. I bought the "GOFLAME 48” Narrow Console Table, Modern Entryway Table with Faux Marble Tabletop & Black Metal Frame, Slim Accent" for it to sit on, and it's a perfect size in my opinion. As far as sound customization, it's very simple and customization is limited but seeing as the system well meets my needs and expectations I can't complain.Overall, it's a good product, and I highly suggest this Soundbar along the RS5 speakers too. Good Buy
Very happy so far. Sound was incredible, setup was not easy as they say
incredible sound ( vital component of a fully realized home theater system ). I bought a Sony 65" TV a few months back for our vacation house and hadn't really decided whether I would add a Sound Bar. Truthfully, not being up on the latest gadgets, I wasn't even aware such a device existed. But visiting friends who had a full-blown home theater ( replete with Sound Bar, subwoofer, and rear speakers ) was a decisive factor in my purchase. The sound was just incredible, like nothing I had experienced outside of an actual movie theater. I went with the Sony HT A5000 ( after reading reviews ) to match the Sony TV previously mentioned. I also added Sony subwoofer and rear speakers. The player, also Sony brand ( Sony X700 ) and the sturdy metal bracket necessary to properly hang the TV, were the final components necessary to complete the installation. My brother and I tested the audio by cueing up Led Zeppelin's epic 'Achilles Last Stand' and dialing in our preferences. Later we watched 'Dune' and were able to test the audio again. In both cases, absolutely amazing clarity and depth of sound; the volume can be set ridiculously high without distortion setting in ( you can quite literally be 'blown away' ). So, for either film or music, you are really in for a treat by adding this Sound Bar as one vital component of a fully realized home theater system. Highest recommendation.
Love it. Sound is great. Some difficulty initially logging into wifi - if your wifi has an apostrophe in it, eg. Smith’s it won’t log in. I had to create a guest wifi, without the apostrophe, then it quickly connected.
Good sound quality. Good sound quality with reasonable price
Defective soundbar. Received the soundbar and had it for a week trying to figure out why it sounded so low. Messed around with all the settings on the tv and the soundbar, tried different hdmi cables. I got in contact with sony and we went through a troubleshooting session and turns put it's bad so now I have to send it out for repair.
Way Better than expected. But some negatives. I’m kind of used to high end sound systems and big subs. This system is not that, but works pretty darn well. The sub hits some decent lows.Negative: if your putting in front of a Sony TV which is on its legs, they height of the sound bar blocks the TV sensor that turns TV on. Hello? Actually they should have moved the TV sensor up on the side, or raised the legs another inch or so. Of course once you mount your tv on the wall this issue goes away, you just have cable wiring to hide.Other Negative: to use this thing you have to go through ungodly legal screen/ agreement which may include them listening to you? To opt out of that is a ridiculous process like writing them. These kind of invasive tactics really turn me off. It should be illegal.
Big improvement over TV speakers. I added this to a new Sony XR55X90K TV and it added a lot of depth and clarity to the sound. The TV sounds good but not enough sound. Music sounds a lot better too, which is what I use a TV for most anyway during the day. Connection is simple and quick. It includes an HDMI cable and an audio cable for using the TV center channel. There is Bluetooth connection to the TV also. The outer case and speaker mesh is all metal and the unit feels solid and well built, and it looks handsome and unassuming. A nice coincidence is that it is just about the exact same width as the TV.
I feel it easy to connect and sound is awesome.. i connect my fire tv max to to soundbar and pass through the video to Tv . It's really clear and i watched all Atmos content in this sound bar . Really enjoying December 😁.
Easy to set up with our Sony TV. Great sound from a small source.
The media could not be loaded.  Bought this soundbar after watching a lot of reviews. Sound quality is great to fill up the medium sized room. The video is in 43% volume and still sounds great. The inbuilt woofer seems enough for my room and is a per my satisfaction. It contains spotify alexa chromecast dolby atmos , usb and all. You can add PlayStation, fire stick or additional input. Will add the satellite speakers to add the atmos/surround feature effect. The 360 reality audio requires some nugs.net subscription.. will also add the subwoofer furthermore more. The sound field engine does a decent job.
