Might decode atmos but doesn’t deliver any. updated review, Seller reached out to me stating that they had updated software and asked if I would give them another try and I’m so glad that I did. With the software update in this new unit all I can say is WOW!This is a bargain soundbar that bats ray out of its class. For its size there is just so much more sound than you would expect. In conclusion The Poseidon soundbar is very good with great soundstage and 3d audio for the price and it’s size. I would love to try their projector next for their total home theater experience.
Subwoofer and surround are good but center speaker seems hollow. Pros: The install was very easy. The product seems to be of good quality the subwoofer has good bass and surround speakers are audible.Cons: the center speaker seems to be hollow. It's like it doesn’t have a soul.. It’s hard to explain but my son’s 4 year old Yamaha YAS 107 has more oomph.Update: This company, DynaNic, is top notch. They truly care about their customers. They contacted me to inform me that they have a software update that provides more granular bass and surround control. I’m blown away by their level of customer service and they are dedicated to customer satisfaction!!
Decent speakers for the price. The connection was simple and the sound is pretty good for $170. Lacks options to adjust settings and the bass leaves more to be desired. They are a step up from my tv speakers and I’m on a budget so they will suffice. Hopefully they hold up over time. I’d be happy to get a year or two out of them.
Awesome sound and easy installation. I was a little worried because of the price… but the risk definitely paid off because the sound is amazing and great stereo for music. Ive watched movies, played COD and Fortnite. It doesnt disappoint! I recommended to my brother as well and I would recommend to anyone. Simple plug and play setup.
Took me all of 5 minutes to set up + fantastic sound. Super easy to set up I have almost no home audio experience and was able to get it going in all of 5 minutes. The sound is fantastic it's a true 5.1 system most aren't. Enjoy
Garbage!! Not True 5.1. 1 star. DON’T DO IT!!! With lack of reviews I’d figure I would give this sound bar a shot. However, it’s absolute garbage! The EQ settings are horrendous!! I’d assume the settings are as follows: 1) high treble 2) high mids 3) bass boost, all of which are terrible across the board. I had mine hooked up to eARC played both music and a ATMOS movie. The volume maxes out at 40 and I had to have it up atleast to 30 to hear it. The kicker for me was the 5.1 is not true 5.1. When I tested as both surround and ATMOS, the rear speakers acted as front L/R stage speakers. Not a big deal but this in combination with lack of volume and a terrible EQ… Just don’t do it. At this price point you can get a 5.1 Samsung, LG, or Vizio soundbar with a better EQ settings, sound quality, and true 5.1 (rear speakers).. DON’T!
Easy set up, great sound, fantastic value. Gave to my daughter for christmas. Easy installation, great sound. Great purchase. Fast shipping, recommended seller.
Pretty good, but it's limits may affect how well it works for you. Not hard to set up. Sound quality is decent but forget having a wide sound field because the front speakers are so close to each other. Speech is very clear and the speakers are quite loud. Connectivity is an issue that could bite you.For example Bluetooth is very easy to set up, but when you turn the TV off it won't find the speakers (on my TV at least) so you have to put the speakers in discoverable mode, switch the TV back to Bluetooth and select the speakers. So I don't use the speakers all the time, just when I'm going to watch a movie or concert. You could use the optical connection, but then you have to control the speaker volume separately; it's not controlled by the TV. You might need a third-party remote to be able to control the audio, or use the speaker remote just for volume. No insurmountable but something to consider. If your TV has eARC HDMI Out, that's another possibility but my TV was a closeout model and didn't have that. I haven't tried USB to connect them so I can't comment on that.I'm okay with my purchase as I only need the extra volume for music and movies, and the TV stays on while I'm watching so I just have to connect beforehand.

The media could not be loaded.
The media could not be loaded.
The media could not be loaded.

this was the one for my secondary system using Bose's cubes. Really much more logical than say Denon although Denon has a better amplifier sound. This isn't a step down rather a more easy system to hook up and it pairs with My LG easier. It's very intuitive and the screen menu is much easier to deal with than other brands. The Bose 5.1 system is adequate for my bedroom sound and even provides enough bass through the two sub-woofers I use. I've had the Bose for years and no amp made them as clear as the Sony does. Excellent pricing, two Manuels to look at rather than on screen prompts if you need them. The amp I tried before when hooked up bypassed the instructions and went straight to the playlist.. Not that I couldn't figure it out but really these days an instruction book saves calling the seller. I think it has the best remote I have ever used as it just is so easy to navigate.. Good Job Sony !
Audiophile on a budget? This is what you want/need. I will update this as I need to, but I waited nearly a month to make sure this unit didn't turn out like the Pyle unit I had to return before buying this. So, thoughts after the first month -I came from a decent, but older (2005 or so) Yamaha receiver that eventually died on me. I figured a new unit wouldn't sound too different or much better after the initial tweaking and setup outside of going from 5.1 to 7.1. I already had a decent 7.1 for my computer setup, so I knew what to expect in a general sense when getting this for my living room.Well, I was pleasantly surprised, even setup with the same speakers in a 5.1 configuration, the audio was noticeably better in every way. Not a "night and day, OMG SO much better" kind of way, but definitely noticeable to even my non-audiophile wife. Going from that 5.1 setup to 7.1 was also a nice step up, as one could assume, but I wanted to test 5.1 vs 5.1 as best I could first, and as stated, it excelled in that regard.Paired with a range of oddities for my speaker setup (my front speakers being some huge Peavey monitors lol) it works well, just don't pair this with some dollar store cheapos, and you'll be happy I am sure.TLDR - Is this a top tier unit that will impress the most snobbish of ears? No.Is it a heck of a step up from any sound bar/built in TV speaker/most older AVRs? Most definitely. You get more than what you pay for here. Even if it isn't the top shelf unit we all want, it is way more than enough for the every man and good enough for an audiophile on a budget.Pros - value, overall sound quality is "more than enough", sturdy, easy to setup.Cons - nothing fancy (as expected from this price range), sound quality isn't the very best (also as expected). So... Really no major gripes.

I've been using this for a few years now and haven't felt the need to upgrade. This is used mainly as my PC sound output with my second monitor receiving video. It is going from my GPU to the receiver with an HDMI cable. I thoroughly have been enjoying the sound reproduction. I don't have any problems other than some noise/distortion when running Multi-Stereo, even then it's a minor nuisance depending on what's being listened to. I would have liked the sampling rate to go higher but for the price it's fine at 24 bit 192khz. With Atmos enabled in Windows you don't get a choice of changing the sampling rate anyways.Originally I wanted a 2 channel receiver but the price I got this for at the time was amazing compared to the 2 channel and other 7.2 units. The Dolby Atmos is wonderful to have, it adds a decent amount of immersion. Thankfully in Windows 10/11 you don't need to purchase anything to have Atmos running but depending on the source it's a bit of a pain to switch back and forth between Atmos and Stereo. Having Atmos, or anything above 2.1, enabled and listening to stereo sources will run only the fronts and sub with no sound to the other speakers, but that's a Windows and the selected media/streaming player problem.Unfortunately I'm using a bunch of different speakers, Polk Signature S20 fronts, Polk CS10 center, Dayton Audio B452-AIR and some old speakers I've changed the drivers and the crossovers. I still feel as though I can't complain about that with the setup options. It can be adjusted by a menu on screen or from the screen on the receiver with the remote. Remote is simple and has all the necessary functions. There is no wifi connection, but since I'm using it strictly with my PC it doesn't matter to me. The Bluetooth functions as it should but it's a bit lacking in formats, which doesn't matter to me either. With a firmware update it does EARC, the update process is fast and easy.
Disclaimer: I am a newbie in the home audio world and am replacing a 15 year old JVC receiver with this one so my comparative vision is narrow.I cant tell you much about the features but I can review it based off of me being a newby. First of this receiver is inexpensive for offering (E)ARC and Dolby Atmos. The receiver came in a well protected box and wire hook up was very straight forward. I purchased two height speakers as my new tv has EARC and being this receiver supports ATMOS I wanted to get the best of it. I turned on the TV and Voila the tv found the receiver and automatically put me on its setup page. After navigating through and finding my speaker setup I ran the auto setup. Instantly it found, tested and properly setup my system automatically (which was a really cool process). It took around 10 minutes to setup (including unboxing) and we have been enjoying 5.1.2 Dolby atmos ever since! Super simple to setup and use with beautiful sound, all for under $500. Im happy. With a sony tv this process was extremely seamless and it has been working fantastic since the moment it was unboxed.

Great For The Price. This thing has no business sounding this good, given what it costs. It is a tremendous value for a simple, home theater audio in a box solution. Now the "good for what it costs" part is important. It doesn't break the laws of physics, you can certainly spend more and get more, but the little dedicated subwoofer really does a solid job in compensating for the relatively small speakers in the main unit. It also gets surprisingly loud for its size without introducing meaningful distortion. Are you going to put this thing in a giant, dedicated home theater or a huge great room with a cathedral ceiling and be happy with the results? Probably not. But in a bedroom, an apartment or an average-sized living room or den, this is likely going to give you results you are happy with for both movies and most casual listening. When you give it a workout across a bunch of different genres of music, you find the results vary between adequate and excellent. There are some basic physics reasons behind why you normally need much bigger speakers to get truly excellent high fidelity sound. So occasionally the results are a bit flat and uninspired. But it does a pretty remarkable job for what it cost and how big it is. What you will notice if you listen with a very critical ear is that there is some muddiness in the mid-range and the bass rolls off too early because the little sub runs out of steam, but that almost seems unfair to criticize at this price point. Most people won't even notice any of that.On the other hand, don't get super excited about the strength of the Dolby Atmos effects here. Atmos is designed to create a 3d sound field and place sounds in the physical space around the listener. It is a cool new technology and movies are starting to be mastered in it. Normally that 3d sound effect means you have to have additional channels physically mounted in the ceiling. Like all of these sound bars, it doesn't have actual ceiling speakers and instead has to make do with pointing some speakers up at the ceiling to bounce the sound off the ceiling indirectly. If you stick it in a basically square or rectangle shaped room with an 8 foot ceiling and no obstructions, it does sort of work. But if you have a cathedral ceiling or sloped ceiling or anything other than the basic box shaped room it likely won't do much of anything. On the other hand, the more basic, 5.1 surround sound effects are perfectly adequate, assuming you can place the little rear speakers properly.Installation wasn't hard, although note that there are specific requirements that the system sit in front of and a certain distance below the TV because of the Atmos, up-firing speakers. The rear surrounds connect to the subwoofer with standard speaker wires and the separately powered subwoofer then connects wirelessly to the main unit. The little sub is ported, so it can't be set absolutely flush against a wall. It all came pre-paired up and worked perfectly right out of the box.I have a modern tv, and was able to connect with eARC/HDMI successfully. I also paired my phone to the device using bluetooth and that worked easily too. I can control the volume with both the TV remote and the Apple TV remote control, and so I will almost never need to use the included remote for much of anything beyond initial setup. There is a reason why this unit got such good reviews on the big audio review channels. It really is a good value for the price.
Very pleased. Perhaps not the best ATMOS system, but it really brings an immersive sound experience at a low price. I'm using this together with an LG C1 OLED. Here's my setup:EARC HDMI connection between the LG and the soundbar, the peripherals (Blu Ray, etc.) plugged into the other HDMIs on the C1. I'm NOT using the second HDMI (passthrough) on the bar.Pros:—Sounds great! Way too loud for my needs, and intense bass. Overkill for my room, but nice to know I've got the power when needed.—Soundbar shows colored LEDs to indicate the audio signal type (green = Atmos) so you never need to wonder if it's getting the right signal input. My fireTV stick has Disney, HBO, Apple, etc. apps and they all automatically output ATMOS to the bar if/when available.—Excellent CEC support! By setting all connected devices to CEC, the remote commands are passed/shared through the connected equipment. I use a FireTV Max stick for almost everything (Live YoutubeTV, streaming apps, etc.) Touching the Fire remote turns on everything, and is able to control the volume on the soundbar as well. I now only use ONE remote for everything!—Alexa! I've tried various ways to incorporate Alexa into my media stack only to find too many "gotyas" and unexpected conflicts. This unit has both bluetooth, and a 3.5mm stereo connection for music input, but it also has a dedicated 3.5mm wired input specifically for an intelligent assistant like Alexa. I have an Echo Dot plugged into this input. When Alexa speaks or plays music, the unit changes the input automatically to allow the signal from the assistant to be heard, when done, it switches back to whatever you were listening to originally. Brilliant! This is the perfect kind of handoff.—Easy to mount!Cons:—YOU MUST DO AN OS UPDATE before you touch anything (It'll wipe out any settings you've made). This bar is not connected to wifi, so it's a manual process requiring a download, a usb stick, and some patience. See the instructions for the bar.—CEC does have some conflicts with my C1 TV, for example, using the voice function on the fireTV remote causes the C1 to change inputs. Not a problem with the bar, but you may encounter CEC issues with your TV especially if it's an older model.—Audio level conflicts can happen between the Alexa and the bar. The total volume output when using an Alexa input is a combination of the volume you set on alexa and the volume you set on the bar. They can easily get wacky if one or both are too high, or too low.I highly recommend this product for "pro-sumers" looking for ATMOS at a bargain price.Be well!
The media could not be loaded.
Easily the best speakers I got. Surround sound is phenomenal, subwoofer makes you feel like your in a movie theatre, definitely worth the wait.Only things I'll say, for UK residents definitely get a UK Plug for the power plugs for the main speaker and subwoofer and also find one locally then buying one from America.Other then that highly recommended 10/10 would be again
If you live outside the US, make sure you buy a compatible power supply/adapter separately because regardless of where you order from you'll be sent a US power cable. Shame they don't just send the correct power supply cable for your country. I've also spoken to their customer service and they said they can't solve this issue because they're a US based company

Clear and loud. Preface: I have a 10'x12' room I've converted to a home theater with a 100" projector screen. I also have a large Hi-Fi with Magneplanar 1.7i speakers and an Emotiva stack. I use a PS4 for my base BD player and an Intel-based Windows workstation as a streaming device for both my video content and as a SteamBox for gaming. The room is treated with sound absorbing panels and drapery to help with bass-trapping and unwanted reflections. The rears are on common triangle-style podium stands I hand-built and are secured in place with 20lb sandbags. The Center is on a custom bench I made (with triangle-style pillar legs) over the center-aligned Subwoofer directly underneath the center-point of the projection screen. Unfortunately, 92" of the wall's 108" width is taken up with the projection screen, and the room having a somewhat short length, means that the speakers have to be butted up against the walls both front/back and the sides, so, they have very sub-optimal placement.Review: With all of that said, these things are LOUD, clear as CRYSTAL, and after treating the room with foam diffusers, setting up the room-correction on my receiver, and adjusting the PS4/Windows to accommodate the 5.1+Atmos (where possible), the stereo and positional effects are GREAT! Music has clear and broad soundstage, image separation is quite good for an HT setup (at least as good as my Denon receiver can produce), and music playback is not nearly as good as my full audiophile setup but is still impeccable for a 5.1 (even in multi-channel stereo using the rears/center along with just the towers.)I slighted the bang-for-buck score to 4/5 because, while these clearly out-perform my previous Fluance 5.1 bundle, that was 200$ with a 200$ separate sub, and the audio quality was about 80% of what this provides at more than 3x the cost. Audio equipment does not scale linearly, so as components get better, their price scales out of phase with the quality gains, and with THAT in mind, these are a very reasonable price when compared with audiophile gear and provide anywhere from 90-95% of the quality I've seen from boutique/designer brands at 2-5x the cost, so these ARE still quite a good bang-for-buck, but only when you're in a place where you're trying to eke out whatever boost you can over the base 80/20-ROI curve. IMO these are pretty top-tier in their price bracket and there may be some min-maxing to do in the sub-$2k window compared to these and whatever individual needs someone may have, but you will have to jump into the $5k+ window (and upgrade into substantially better amplifier, source, and room infrastructure) before you will hear any tangible acoustic benefits.
Thundering Bass and pure highs with the perfect amount of mids. No need to go to the movies anymore. The sound is incredible. Paired with my Sony STR-AN1000 receiver i'm super happy with the way this surround sound solution makes movies come to life! Quality connections and the bass rocks the house!
Not an illusion! Totally worth it. I have been an audio head for as long as I can remember and I’ve always wanted a great set of speakers for my home entertainment system, but was always discouraged by the price. I recently purchased a Denon 3700 AV receiver and was looking to purchase a new set of surround speakers that would work with the Dolby Atmos feature. I was overwhelmed by the pricing of decent speakers at the retailer I was shopping at, BB. So I took my shopping online. At first I was worried because the fine print said it was “not a matched set”. Did not matter. All outwards appearances match. The speakers work very well together and sound amazing. The front floor speakers are crisp and clean. Such an improvement from the Polk speakers I was previously running. My wife, who does not like loud surround sound sounds, has been doing nothing but wanting to watch different movies since setting these up. Bang em up, shoot em up, explosion type movies! Could not be happier. And for the price?! Definitely could not be happier. If your ears have been waiting for relief and your sitting on the fence wondering if you should order these or not, I am here to tell you to order these now and you won’t be discouraged. They are amazing! Too bad my next door neighbors don’t agree! Ha! Cheers!
Love these speakers. So far, the speakers sounds amazing. One tower was delivered with slight damage to the rear corner but it does not seem to affect performance
Really Good Sound System/Read Update. System was delivered appropriately, on time and well packaged. Packaging is a must, Atmos Tower speakers are really heavy, box displayed obvious bumping around, produce was in good shape upon examination. This Atmos Klipsch R625H system is an upgraded, form a 15 year old Magnolia system. A Denon 7.2 R760FA is used to push the system. I use the entire system with 2 Klipsch subwoofers. System come with sound calibration mic & stand, very effective on screen instructions for complete setup. I figured I was missing something sound wise with previous system, which was a decent system. This Klipsch system has provided clearer clarity. Sound system produce perfect sounds whether enjoying music, movies or sports. Based on my research, this is a very quality system that does not break the bank. No regrets!Update: I feel it's important to include an issue with the base/stand. that requires installing by screws into Atmos Speakers. During my reading of reviews, purchaser noted that while attempting to install stands on base of speaker, they found it difficult. Purchasers noted that the screws provided were not well made, and literally broke while attempting to screw them into base of speaker. This is a real issue. I experience this problem, and was very frustrated. I chose not to attach the base/stand on either speaker. There appears to be no adverse effect on sound due to not using stand/base. My previous tower speakers did not have a base, so I decided to go without on my new Klipsch. Speaker appears stable and functional without the base. It seems the base is for more cosmetic purpose. Anyway, I felt strongly about the base of the Atmos Speaker only assembly process, that my review warranted modification and addressing this problem. The screws used to fasten base to bottom of speakers are junk. This does not take away from the systems function. For a quality system, designers fell extremely short on 8 screws. I change my stars from 5, to 4. Very frustrating assembling process.
Great upgrade. I bought these to upgrade my system. They sound great! Very happy with the purchase! I wish the cost wasnt so high. It looks like it was closer to $800-$900 back in 2020/2021.
Prompt delivery, great price. Despite buying during the holidays and expecting shipping delays the order arrived ahead of schedule. If the opportunity to buy from them again, I will not hesitate!

Easy to Set Up; Quirky in Handling Inputs. This system arrived well packed in a shipping container that contained several sub-containers for the receiver, the subwoofer, and the various speakers. A separate bag contained a set of speaker cables and other items.Setup was not terribly difficult, although the instructions are, to say the least, very concise (i.e., brief). Helpfully, the leads for each speaker have a unique color code, with matching color panels on the terminals behind the speakers. The leads for the front speakers (center, left, and right) are plenty long enough. The leads for the surround speakers are barely long enough, and I may end up getting some additional wire in order to run the leads in a more elegant manner. The subwoofer is connected with a single audio cable with an RCA plug on each end, and must be plugged into its own AC power outlet. Somehow the subwoofer can sense when the receiver is on, and powers itself up and down accordingly. There is very little guidance on setting up the system, or explaining what the different surround sound selections actually mean. We're still in a trial-and-error phase on this. With a Blu-Ray disc containing surround sound, the effect is noticeable. I goosed up the surround speakers a click or two.My only real critique -- and this may be something that happens with a lot of receivers -- is that this receiver is very persnickety about its input sources. If the receiver is turned on before the source (such as a Blu-Ray player or Apple TV box), the receiver will not recognize it. It is necessary to turn the receiver off again, then power up the source box, then start the receiver again. That usually fixes the problem. Presumably this is a phenomenon of the annoying HDCP protocol that we must all suffer through. The sound quality is surprisingly good for this price point, and it is wonderful to have a center channel speaker. Previously we were hearing Blu-Ray disks in simple stereo, and many times the dialogue got lost. Now, with the center channel speaker, we can hear dialogue easily. The subwoofer adds a decent amount of "floor" to the sound. The receiver comes with a microphone that can be plugged in for system setup. We have not performed that as yet, but will someday. It will be interesting to see if that makes any difference.
DEFECTIVE OUT OF THE BOX. No sound out of the box. Not even a crackle out of the speakers with the radio on (best way to verify). Onkyo must have no quality control because there was no damage to the box. Now I have to wait almost 2 weeks for Amazon to pick up and up to another 2 weeks until I get my refund after that. Stay away from Onkyo products! Especially this one. No tech support either
The media could not be loaded.
If the product was not damaged think in be a great system sounded great wanted to keep it. Still waiting for refund. But company messaged back right away.
Vale la pena invertir en este teatro

Good value, excellent customer support. My LG smart TV's sound is considerably better with this sound bar and subwoofer, which is also quite simple to set up. I installed these by connecting the HDMI ARC to the supplied HDMI cable. My EQ settings didn't really need to be adjusted in order to enjoy excellent sound quality from the soundbar. This sound bar is well-made, reasonably priced, portable, and user-friendly; it receives five stars. For the price, this soundbar is fantastic. If your TV is an LG OLED or Samsung QLED, you should be able to connect it with a single HDMI ARC connection, which will let you use the TV remote to operate the soundbar as if it were a part of the TV itself. Strongly suggest this soundbar if you want optical connections and don't mind using two remotes or setting up a learning remote. It is a huge upgrade over most flat screen internal speakers.
This sounds great. This was for a small 8x16 shop. Had medium size flat screen for youtube watching while working on things. Sound was lame. So I purchased this soundbar for the inexpensive price. I am really surprised at the amount of sound coming from such a small unit. Really easy to set up. About ten minutes and this was up and running. Working with my remote too. So I don't even use the remote that is supplied with it. I did install batteries in it anyway. Great purchase. I am satisfied.
It’s decent. Fairly “boomy” but you can mess around with the bass levels. Has a movie, music, and gaming setting on the remote, Bar is way smaller than the pics suggest at 15 3/4 inch. That being said, it gets loud. Only picked it up because it was discounted. Did not come with batteries for the remote. Overall it’s good for the price!
Very good product. I put this in my cart, then watched the price yo-yo for several days before it stabilized. I have to say, this would be a good buy at full price. When unboxing, it seemed impossible that something this size would output much sound but I’m happy to say I was wrong. This had so much low end even at the lowest setting, that it was causing my other components to rattle. Still, the sound quality was very good. A few day after I received this, I was contacted by the manufacturers rep, saying they have developed some upgrades to the firmware, and to let them know what my preference for sound quality and EQ. I chose the upgrade that allowed lower bass levels and quieter initial volume, and it’s perfect for me. I totally recommend this for anyone wanting to upgrade but not spend a whole lot of money. The only negative is that the CEC stopped working the way I expected and the sound bar stays on for a period of time before it shuts off.NOTE* The description on Amazon, and the owners manual both state that for best results, all of your streaming devices AND your TV need to have the eARC capabilities, or you will be disappointed. On a final note: It would be nice if the manufacturer developed an app that can be used with the tv interface to fine tune the EQ and fine tune the subwoofer output. Then this would be just dandy. Also, the customer service reps are really great and responsive so that is another big plus for this.
Amazing sound. Elevate Your Audio Experience with the Ultimate SoundbarAre you tired of lackluster sound quality from your TV? Look no further than this Soundbar! This sleek and stylish addition to my entertainment setup has truly transformed my viewing experience. From the moment I plugged in the soundbar, I was blown away by the clarity and depth of the sound. Whether I'm watching movies, gaming, or streaming my favorite music, every sound comes through crisp and clear. The built-in subwoofer delivers impressive bass without any distortion, adding an immersive element to my entertainment.Setup was a breeze – just plug in a few cables and you're ready to go. Plus, the sleek design seamlessly blends into any home decor, and the compact size doesn't take up much space, making it perfect for smaller living rooms or apartments. But the real star of the show is the sound quality. Dialogue is crystal clear, and even subtle background noises are brought to life with impressive detail. The Soundbar truly enhances every aspect of my audio experience, making me feel like I'm right in the middle of the action.Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase of the Ultimea Soundbar. If you're looking to take your home entertainment to the next level, look no further. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
Great sound at a great price. If you're looking for speakers to hold a concert in a stadium, this is not what you want. But here's the bottom line. We have become so spoiled in today's society about high definition and sound and picture. Certainly it is important, and certainly I don't want to go back to 1971 watching a grainy color TV in my parents home in Brooklyn New York. However, some people on here are way too picky. I have seen people do extensive reviews of the frequency, attenuation and everything else that a scientist with love. But let's be serious here. We're talking about getting better sound than the crappy speaker that comes with your wonderful high definition television. It seems like they could have put the same quality into the speakers that they did into the picture but hey why spoil a good thing and why miss an opportunity to sell more electronic devices. These speakers and subwoofer are excellent for your television. If you need to turn your home into a movie theater go ahead and spend several thousand dollars. If you just want some really good sound that has a little bit of base to it these speakers are perfect. sometimes we have to stop being so picky and realize we can't have the best of everything all the time. Sometimes we just need something that really sounds good and makes us feel good about our home and environment. Signed, the old man on the lawn. With the speakers that are so much better than the transistor radio he had in 1974. I have taken off a couple of stars, because the remote for this item is frustrating. I find it difficult to turn on, adjust volume or do anything else if any kind of light in the room is on. I would say the remote for this product has the weakest infrared beam of any product I have ever owned. Seriously considering returning this product.
The media could not be loaded.  The sound bar and sound quality is good as also the subwoofer. Connecting to the tv via ARC cable is good but sometimes is just losing connection when listening to Netflix (is not all the time). On the optical cable is also very good quality sound. The remote is easy to use.Soundbar has a led display and shows what options is between Bluetooth, ARC, Optical, AUX, Coaxial, USB . however on the display doesn't show which option of the sound is the current: bass/movie/game/musicThe bass is perfect and I can see and feel the difference.I hope my video, picture and review can help you decide.

Best mounted up on wall but still nice extra surround sound if on top of mains. So far I have these on top of my mains (RP8000Fs). Definitely a much better separation of sound coming from above when these are mounted higher on the wall. That's going to be a project for me mainly due to wire management, I don't want the wires dangling on the wall & would need to hire an electrician to drill holes & snake the wires through. Too lazy to do all that now but sound is sound, and the extra sound coming from these is more immersive than not having them. My ceilings are 8', supposedly the upfiring design makes sound bounce off the ceiling if 8', very subtle though & still not the same as mounting them on the wall. If you have taller ceiling or cathedral ceilings, there is likely zero "upfiring" benefit you could hear. But hey, they look cool sitting on the towers lol. In my setup it's easier having these then two extra rears for 7.1, so I am going with 5.1.2Another advantage is the option of a Dialogue lift with my AVR, meaning the center dialogue can get added & spread out to the Atmos speakers in addition to the center channel. For that purpose it's better having these on top of the tower speakers so the sound is coming from the TV. Mounted up high, that feature may sound odd.I cross these over to the sub at 100 hz, I hear most people use that or 120. Atmos speakers are not designed to handle any significant bass, not even effectively down to 80 hz.My overall system these are playing with: AVR - Yamaha Aventage A2A. Two Outlaw Monoblock Amps 2220 powering the fronts (RP8000Fs). This frees up the AVR power more for the other surround speakers including these, making them all come to life a bit more. Center is RP500C & rears are RP500M. Sub is SVS SB3000.Very happy with these as part of a very enjoyable upgrade I have made to my sound system over the past month. Also, especially with Atmos, a total waste of money going with the Gen 2 substantially more $. Gen 2 is the same speaker big picture, just with tweaks to very subtly change the midrange. The subtle difference is for critical music listening, totally not worth it & at times depending on the song I actually preferred how the Gen 1 sounded. But when going to surrounds, especially Atmos, not going to hear any difference so my recommendation is don't spend about twice as much for the Gen 2. If I was willing to spend twice as much, I'd save up a bit to add a bit more and make a real upgrade - to the next tier of speakers. Like the RF7iii or Heritage Forte iv. Maybe down the road I do. Until then I'll keep thoroughly enjoying the current upgrades I made to an entry level Polk set up I had the last 11 years.
Really works. I was skeptical that these would make a noticable difference. Pleased to say I was wrong.Since new I had been using my 8 year old 7.1 channel Onkyo TX-NR646 in a 5.1 configuration and was ok with the sound. Using it in simple Dolby Prologic yielded the most tolerable surround sound experience. Ok but not good.I saw these speakers come up for sale and figured I would experiment with Atmos speakers before replacing the Onkyo, which is still working just fine. After mounting these Atmos speakers on top of the L and R main speakers (also Klipsch), and with a little bit of level calibration to my tastes, I can say that the sound field is greatly extended. Dolby Atmos content sounds far more immersive and directional sound effects travel more vividly around and overhead.I can understand now the appeal of 11 channel systems. Installing additional overhead speakers would be a bit more effort than what I want to deal with right now in my family room and until I make that leap I will happily enjoy this old Onkyo finally working to its full potential powering a 5.1.2 setup.
Upfiring Atmos Speakers. They work well for what they are designed for. I used them as up-firing speakers for dolby atmos. They also work great as height or surround speakers, and sound very good and clear.
quality product. Good sound quality
The sound very good. It's my first time with Atmos. And I had fears I would be disappointed. But it really sound good.
Awesome Atmos Sound. So I've heard alot about atmos, and the sound it provides. I wasn't really sure if I was gonna be able to tell the difference, but I was wrong. At first, I had this setup in the back of the room as my heights and they just didn't sound great, but after about a day I moved them to the top middle of the room (I have an odd-shaped room) and wow the sound was crazy.I tried a couple of movies after getting the volumes set correctly. The first movie I tested based on recommendations online was Ready Player One, followed by The Matrix remastered, and can honestly say the movies sounded new, you could hear things that you didn't notice before.Edit: I have 2 more sets on order now, so that I can do a 5.2.6 config they really good (now i have to run the wires behind the walls)
Perfect for our use
Unreal experience listening to 7.1 Atmos with these speakers.
Amazing speakers. I decided to put them left and right of the seating area at the top of the wall so they naturally pointed diagonally towards the sofaI use them for atmos on my 7.1.2 system. If i wasn't restricted on space then I'd upgrade mu front centre speaker to this line too.
Superbe, son spatial comme au cinéma

Great Soundbar, awesome upgrade from my wired setup. I bought this soundbar a few months ago, I was tired of the wired management with my older system (Sony 7.2 Channel Surround System) and thought wireless would be allot cleaner and easy. I also bought the RS5 rear speakers along with this for better sound immersion and coverage. That all being said, it's great I'm really happy with it. Shows, music and movies come in clear and haven't had distortions or connectivity issues.I use my old XBOX ONE as a glorified ROKU or FIRE player and it does the job. The soundbar comes with an HDMI IN and HDMI OUT and it's simple plug and play. If you have multiple things you plan on using then a HDMI switch would be a good investment. The 5000 is a big, long boy and has a little weight to it and I didn't want to use the wall mount/shelf holders that came with. I bought the "GOFLAME 48” Narrow Console Table, Modern Entryway Table with Faux Marble Tabletop & Black Metal Frame, Slim Accent" for it to sit on, and it's a perfect size in my opinion. As far as sound customization, it's very simple and customization is limited but seeing as the system well meets my needs and expectations I can't complain.Overall, it's a good product, and I highly suggest this Soundbar along the RS5 speakers too. Good Buy
incredible sound ( vital component of a fully realized home theater system ). I bought a Sony 65" TV a few months back for our vacation house and hadn't really decided whether I would add a Sound Bar. Truthfully, not being up on the latest gadgets, I wasn't even aware such a device existed. But visiting friends who had a full-blown home theater ( replete with Sound Bar, subwoofer, and rear speakers ) was a decisive factor in my purchase. The sound was just incredible, like nothing I had experienced outside of an actual movie theater. I went with the Sony HT A5000 ( after reading reviews ) to match the Sony TV previously mentioned. I also added Sony subwoofer and rear speakers. The player, also Sony brand ( Sony X700 ) and the sturdy metal bracket necessary to properly hang the TV, were the final components necessary to complete the installation. My brother and I tested the audio by cueing up Led Zeppelin's epic 'Achilles Last Stand' and dialing in our preferences. Later we watched 'Dune' and were able to test the audio again. In both cases, absolutely amazing clarity and depth of sound; the volume can be set ridiculously high without distortion setting in ( you can quite literally be 'blown away' ). So, for either film or music, you are really in for a treat by adding this Sound Bar as one vital component of a fully realized home theater system. Highest recommendation.
Very happy so far. Sound was incredible, setup was not easy as they say
Loved it until frozen on Hello after 4 months. Worked great. 4 months later it froze with Hello on screen and will not do anything. Just frozen on Hello. Did all the tricks Sony says to do and nothing. This is an expensive item to do this to a consumer. I am very disappointed. Searching the Net it appears to be a very common malady with only one fix— call for service. Now I have to try their support team to see if they will honor their warranty or if they will insist I perform operations to fix when the unit is frozen on Hello and will not unstick or perform the recommended fixes which are already on the Sony website. Very sad.
Love it. Sound is great. Some difficulty initially logging into wifi - if your wifi has an apostrophe in it, eg. Smith’s it won’t log in. I had to create a guest wifi, without the apostrophe, then it quickly connected.
Prompt delivery of correct item. This sound bar has lots of features. and works well.
Way Better than expected. But some negatives. I’m kind of used to high end sound systems and big subs. This system is not that, but works pretty darn well. The sub hits some decent lows.Negative: if your putting in front of a Sony TV which is on its legs, they height of the sound bar blocks the TV sensor that turns TV on. Hello? Actually they should have moved the TV sensor up on the side, or raised the legs another inch or so. Of course once you mount your tv on the wall this issue goes away, you just have cable wiring to hide.Other Negative: to use this thing you have to go through ungodly legal screen/ agreement which may include them listening to you? To opt out of that is a ridiculous process like writing them. These kind of invasive tactics really turn me off. It should be illegal.
Good sound quality. Good sound quality with reasonable price
I feel it easy to connect and sound is awesome.. i connect my fire tv max to to soundbar and pass through the video to Tv . It's really clear and i watched all Atmos content in this sound bar . Really enjoying December 😁.
Easy to set up with our Sony TV. Great sound from a small source.
The media could not be loaded.  Bought this soundbar after watching a lot of reviews. Sound quality is great to fill up the medium sized room. The video is in 43% volume and still sounds great. The inbuilt woofer seems enough for my room and is a per my satisfaction. It contains spotify alexa chromecast dolby atmos , usb and all. You can add PlayStation, fire stick or additional input. Will add the satellite speakers to add the atmos/surround feature effect. The 360 reality audio requires some nugs.net subscription.. will also add the subwoofer furthermore more. The sound field engine does a decent job.

Try them, you won't regret it. See update 9-2022. These speakers are adequate for the average living/tv room. I'm just referring to the volume they can produce and atmos effects. The quality of sound is superb for the price but could be definitely improved with way more expensive speakers but are enough for my small setup for now. I watched gravity diamond luxe edition, and atmos was ok but I didn't think it was great. Everest 4k was better as the ice in some scenes seemed to be hitting my ceiling. My favorite atmos effect so far is mission impossible rogue nation opening scene when Ethan Hunt finally gets inside the plane, it really sounded like I was inside that plane. Lots of more movies to try. I will definitely recommend these set if you're trying to find out if atmos is going to work in your home theater set up, you are going to be gladly surprised and might actually end up keeping them.UPDATE 9-2022I read some comments earlier today where they claim these speakers do not play atmos, went home and play some movies, and no sound came out of atmos (presence) speakers. Well duhh!!, my receiver was messing up a few days ago and had reset it. Well it didn't know by itself I have atmos speakers. Once I came toy senses and did the proper initial speaker set up with my receiver, I can gladly confirm that these are TRUE DOLBY ATMOS speakers. I have a Yamaha rx a3080 and these after the proper set up sound amazing.
What? $279 For this. The media could not be loaded.  This might sound Crazy but I can not believe the Amazing sound that comes out of these Speakers.I run these off of my Denon Avr x2400h atmos & these things quake. Amazing individual sound, great atmos & the 200 Watt sub rivals some high end Products. It looks like I’ll be the 1st to review, & I have too, because some one that sees the speaker set with no reviews & this price like myself would be skeptical. And honestly I really didn’t expect much from these speakers. But as you can see to my surprise wow!! So here’s my review & I hope it helps who ever looks at This system
Amazon shows the satellite speakers are 8 ohm, went to Monoprice, says they are 4 ohm, not 8. Amazon shows the satellite speakers are 8 ohms, nothing in the box, went to Monoprice, says they are 4 ohmnot 8 ohms, can't use them on my receiver as everyone is 6 or 8 ohm. What little you save on the purchase could cost you a lot more, could even fry your unit and cost to replace it.I really wanted to like these speakers because of the built-in Atmos support, just a total letdown.I have rarely given bad reviews on products on Amazon, this one deserves a zero-rating.save your money and get something that will work out of the box, not this.Correction, the bottom speakers are 8 ohm, the top atmos speakers are 4 ohm, so if your avr can only support 6 ohm or above, it is a risk to use the 4 ohm speakers
“Used” for $136. You’re not going to find a Dolby atmos system for this price that sounds this good. It’s DEFINITELY not great quality, but I’m not at all disappointed and would definitely recommend for those on a budget like me
You can't really go wrong here. I didn't have the cash to throw at piece by piece speakers, I like the all in one box deals. I know you don't usually get the BEST stuff when you do that, but these are great for the comparable price. I've had them now for a few months and they've worked great. I used the Denon 4400H to get all the chanels. My only issue is the wiring. To get full surround to wire from the front area to the behind you'll need 12ga speaker wire for the distnace/ohm ratios, so be prepared for that. It's all in the speaker manual though. The upfiring speakers don't sound quite how I imagined but I'm not exaclty a pro either and again, you're getting what you paid for. My Denon receiver calibrated everything so I'm getting the best I can get out of them and I can't complain. Would definitely recommend if you're trying to get ATMOS sound without haveing to spend a fortune
Highly recommended. These Dolby Atmos speakers are outstanding value away this price point. I'm very happy with this purchase.
Inaccurate Description. I have not even hooked these up yet. But I wanted to get this information out to potential buyers. Satellite speakers weigh 4.9 lbs NOT 2.9 lbs. Threads for mounting are metric M6 NOT 1/4 x 20. Very frustrating. However, working around these problems is more convenient than repackaging and returning. Will update review when I have installed and listened them! But if their description of weight and threads aren’t accurate, I’m not sure I can trust their competence.Speakers are installed and attached to an Onkyo TX-RZ620. I am no audiophile, but these things sound pretty incredible. My brother spent much more money on his setup and I cannot discern a difference. I am very happy with their sound and the bass really shakes the room. So, apart from the inaccurate descriptions, I am happy that they perform their function very well.
Well worth the money. Overall it gets the job done. I purchased Polk soundbar and it sounded awkward and worse than Creative soundbar half its size. Infuriated I returned the Polk the same day. Tired of all these big brand names with poor sound quality, I purchased this for a secondary movie room that we use when the kids overtake the media room. I am not good at evaluating audio playback qualities, so I gave it 5 stars because it was super cheap, sounded like I could listen to movie dialogs and the sub was relatively good compared to a Klipsch I have. It is connected to a Onkyo I purchased at Costco. It is loud enough and no ripping sound at high volume. It did not come with speaker wires, but I can understand that at this price point. They are likely selling this at a loss. I am not a fan of Monoprice though, they have disappointed me with their HDMI and USB cables.
Ok.. are they cheap.. Yes But are they good? Yes! I got these so I'd have 7.1 with my new Yamaha vx585. These are very good. Sound is crisp and clear. Watching a Netflix movie in 7.1 was a great thing. Nice these speaker have the push style locks for the cables. Only weak point is the mount point for the speakers. Where the cables go in its tricky to get the cables and getting them on the mount. That's the only complaint I got on this set.
Great value & an amazing sound.I have mine hooked up to an Onkyo TX-RZ630 9.2 Channel receiver & set up as an 5.1.4 system.I watched my first 4K movie, The Dark Knight. Just amazing & such a great sound.Update:I love this system so much, the Dolby Atmos is worth every penny.Watching 4K content with Atmos is mindbreaking.
Sound great so far, and have been great value for the cost.
