Hat to return it same day. UPDATE: my replacement came quickly, and it works great. Awesome TV for the money. Only downside is it puts itself to sleep after a few minutes of pause no matter what you do, unless you use a workaround in developer mode. But the workaround is easy to implement so I'm not too bothered by that. The new TV came packaged slightly differently from the original, I suspect the original was a return in the first place.I have a replacement coming, so I'll update when it gets here and hopefully this was just bad luck and a defective item. As soon as I told it to connect to Wi-Fi it gained a bunch of horizontal lines and nothing I did fixed it. I tried unplugging, cycling, off and on again every way I could. Fingers crossed for success on take two. From what I experienced: easy to unpack (and repack), easy to hang up, remote has a nice hand feel, screen is bright.
Tv quality exceeds expectations, value for money. This tv is amazingThe quality is better than i had expected, sound is clear, loud n crisp. Resolution is brightTrue to size. I definitely recommend purchasing item, it exceeds expectations. ❤️
As good as it gets for the price. I recently purchased this TV for my son, and it has been a total win. The setup was a breeze, and the picture quality is outstanding – perfect for his gaming adventures and movie nights. It hits the sweet spot between functionality and affordability. What really impressed me, though, was the flawless experience with Best Buy pickup. The process was seamless, from ordering online to picking it up at the store. Kudos to the staff for making it quick and hassle-free.As a parent, I appreciate a straightforward tech purchase, and this TV delivered just that. If you’re on the hunt for a reliable and budget-friendly option for your child’s entertainment hub, I highly recommend considering this one. It’s a winner in both performance and the stress-free shopping experience.
Good HD TV for the money. If you pick one of these on sale it’s an excellent TV for the money. Easy to setup and the picture is great. Sound is pretty good too. Only complaint I have is the remote control is rather basic, hence 4 stars. But overall I’d say it’s a good value.
4K For Cheap. This was purchased as an upgrade to a 40-inch 1080p television, so I'll briefly discuss it in terms of price, performance, and include any major/minor gripes in a complaints section.Price: 10/10!For around $200 it's hard to fault this television for much. It has the advertised resolution, HDR support, and usable, if not amazing, built-in speakersPerformance: 9/10More on why a point was docked in the "Complaints" section later. The television does what it was advertised to do! It's 4K with a clear display, good brightness, and is primarily being used as a display for a PS5 with some content consumption. Apps rarely lag, Netflix and Prime video can show HD content without a hitch, as does YouTube.Complaint(s):For where I have it placed, I could do with a longer power cable. The stand is, while understandably cheap, a bit of a pain to put on the TV.And most frustratingly, if I haven't used a particular service in a while (namely Hulu, HBO, or Paramount+) it signs me out automatically! New shows and content I want to consume fluctuates, especially on these services, but at no point do I ever cancel or fully sign out of them on these devices, so why on earth does the TV decide it doesn't want to connect to these services through my account any more?! It's still just me, so I don't understand why it won't hold onto my account info and just log me in, or at the very least, remember my username and password so I don't have to use the darn remote each time!
Great picture and a good deal. Headline says it all. Great picture, and easy to set up and navigate through menus. As with most TVs these days, the sound is pretty poor without external speakers.
Awesome tv. Bought this for Christmas for my mother. Fantastic picture and sound quality. She really likes it which is the important thing here. Great price great buy!
You get what you pay for. Dear buyer, do not waste your money. I bought this tv because it was on sale on prime day for $150. You absolutely get what you pay for. A $150 tv is not going to function like you want it to. 6 weeks after purchase, my tv started looping on the home screen. I reached out to Insignia customer support and ran through all the basic troubleshooting steps. It did not fix the tv. They sent a tech out from the geek squad, who told me that the tv would need to be serviced, which meant I had to bring the tv to best buy and drop it off, where they sent it to Chicago to be fixed. A complete waste of resources for a $150 tv, but I went along with it and 2 weeks later, I had my tv back. Shortly after that, it broke again. I am still trying to get a replacement since a refund is not an option for me at this point. Now that I've had a chance to complain about my experience with this tv, I have some advice for you.1: A tv on sale for $150 is not a good deal, it's a red flag. Save your money and buy something nicer, even if it means you don't buy right now. One of the many geek squad techs who came to my house recommended Sony, LG, or Samsung. Insignia is cheaply made and will fail on you every time. He also told me that Insignia has a bottomless box of parts to "fix" these cheap tvs in Chicago, and they will service your tv over and over again until the warranty is up, and then you'll be stuck with a broken tv.2: Look at the seller of the tv you decide to purchase. Buying a tv on Amazon that was fulfilled by Best Buy is a mistake I won't make again. It complicates things and adds one more channel for customer service to pass you off to when they don't want to help you. While trying to get my tv fixed/replaced, Best Buy sent me to Amazon, Amazon sent me to Insignia, and Insignia sent me back to Best Buy. It's a vicious loop where each channel will place blame on another and tell you they can't help.3: When you do decide on the right tv for you, don't get a fire tv. The fire platform is irritating beyond belief. Everytime you turn on the tv, if the tv is actually working that day, it plays an ad for a Prime video original show or movie. Yes, you can quickly dismiss the ad. But who wants a glorified Amazon billboard in their living room? Roku is a better smart option. If the tv you want isn't Roku, buy the Roku stick.I pass this advice on to you and wish you luck in your tv search. It's too late for me, but hopefully it's not for you.

This TV is AMAZING. My old TV unexpectedly stopped working and I was able to purchase this model for an excellent price. It has exceptional features such as Google Assistant which is great for searching for movies by genre, by a specific actor, and you can even search for movies by a theme such as post-apocalyptic movies etc. The picture is phenomenal as it is an LCD picture and is bright and crisp.. it has Bluetooth built in so I can connect my headphones for watching at night. It is easy to operate and was easy to set up. My last TV was a TCL and my smartphone is a TCL. I am very satisfied with their products
Nice TV. Great picture and nice thin bezel. Bluetooth works great for headphones.
Great picture, easy setup. Great TV for the price. This is my second one, colors are real good. Highly recommend. I have 2 minor complaints as follows, awkward mount for wall on back and connections on one side instead of top or bottom. There is a bizarre light on the bottom that comes on when tv is off, should be the other way around. My problem is it’s in bedroom and light is very bright in the dark. Unable too find a way to turn it off as I sleep lightly. Why it’s even there is weird. Otherwise a nice TV.
Great value for the price. I love this TV. I think this is the fourth one I have bought over several years now I have one and I think almost almost every room but the bathroom I have no problems getting what I want on there my subscriptions all work on there so it turned out to be a great deal, I would buy it again if any of my TVs went out right now I don’t need anymore
Terrible Operating System. This is the first review I’ve ever written, but that is how much I hate this tv 😅 I have three TCL Roku TVs and I figured I would give GoogleTV a try for this small space…what a mistake! Right from the start, just setting it up was an absolute nightmare and far slower than any TV should be in 2024. Some days, the volume doesn’t work, other days, it turns on to a blank screen and won’t take me to the main dashboard. I’ve reset the device more than 5 times in one month, compared to having zero issues ever with Roku operating systems. I truly expected more from Google 😕
Excellent picture and beautiful colors. The media could not be loaded.  I am so amazed at the colors in this tv. I have over ten TV’s and this tv has a better picture than some of my more expensive TV’s . I actually placed it side by side for a comparison to a much higher price tv and this tv blew the other tv away. It boots up pretty fast and the apps are easy to navigate through. The remote works flawlessly and I love the voice control. An added bonus is the Alexa feature. I use a streaming service and my WiFi isn’t the best and I still rate this tv better than my more expensive TV’s. I’ve yet to see any buffering while some of my other TV’s buffer quite often. I could get into the specs but I don’t want to bore anyone with that much info. I will say that most of my TV’s are LED and again, the color and picture quality are way better. I’ll be replacing my other TV’s with TCL brand as they quit working. The video cannot show the quality of the color as I see it in real life. And the boot time will be better depending on the speed of your WiFi.
Great quality. Our old TV broke. This TV is great quality and great picture resolution. We received it in a timely manner.
Buffering issues. Nice little tv. Great price, but I use for streaming and it buffers alot!

Great, inexpensive but quality TV. We wanted a TV to mount on our back deck for viewing while outside. As such, bluetooth connectivity for a speaker that would be closer to where we sit was a necessity. I was pleased to find this 40" television for this purpose. Picture quality is quite good, the TV is very lightweight, bluetooth setup and connection for our BT speaker was easy and accurate. The remote pairing was a breeze as was the initial Google TV/Chromecast setup. Start to finish I had the TV unboxed, legs attached, powered up and all setup within 30 minutes.

NICE TV THAT FITS WELL IN A SMALLER ROOM. I HAD THIS SHIPPED OVERSEAS TO CROATIA, THE LOCATION OF MY CURRENT JOB, AND WAS TICKLED WHEN THE BOX ARRRIVED IN GREAT SHAPE. NO DENTS OR DINGS WITH MY COMPLIMENTS TO THE POSTAL SERVICES INVOLVED. HAS A GREAT PICTURE AND WAS EASY TO SETUP TOO AND HAS ENOUGH PORTS TO CONNECT OTHER DEVICES TO IT.FOR HAVING SPENT SO LITTLE MONEY AND GETTING A NICE PRODUCT THIS WOULD BE A TV THAT I COULD BUY AGAIN AND AGAIN.
screen bad out of box. the bottom half of screen is either all line or foggy or both depending on what it decides to do also top right corner had a 2 inch black box that ran to center of screen and had varying number of vertical lines in it ......truly disappointing i have a hisense 40 inch NOT SMART tv that is over 10 years old maybe 15that still works which was why i went with hisense ........amazon did the right thing after UPS screwed up the pick up by not showing up and applied my refund to a different tv after several hours multiple times on the phone ..... would have been nice if amazone would have done the right thing on first phone call .... but better late than never ....... i fulfilled all my obligations for the return and it was not my fault UPS [whom amazon hired] failed to do their job [imo UPS and FEDEX drivers in my area are very poor at their job but amazon drivers do great job bringing product to door fedex never does and UPS does sometime fedex leaves next to road abd they disappear a lot] and after i explained this for the umpteenth time amazon did the right thing and credited refund to account so i could replace tv b4 sold out as it was over $100 off reg price and UPS missed friday pickup which made it at least a 4 day delay ...... i have decided not to buy from companies that use fedex many times due to the driver here not following fedex protocols and bringing package to door....i may have to pay a bit more on amazon occasionally but amazon drivers here do a great job delivering my stuff
For the price, it is worth it. SO I just got it, unboxing was easy. Set up easy. The pairing of the remote to the TV was easy even though I read some reviewers saying they couldnt do it, or had a hard time getting it to pair Follow what the TV tells you to do for the pairing and its a piece of cake. Picture quality isnt GREAT, but its really good.... again think price point here. I got mine on black Friday so it was only 158 bucks, but even at the price it is now(188) as of this review, Id say go for it. So many things to do and watch for free..lotsa bells and whistles, talking into the remote is really a nice advantage too. There is an old saying, you get what you pay for, and I think that holds true for this TV. Would I buy it for 250 bucks? NO way, but for 160-190ish bucks, heck ya!
Great smart tv. Got this TV for a fantastic price (last Year's uled model, smaller size fit my application needs). Great picture quality.Negative was busy set-up, slightly time/information requirement heavy.
Hi quality, wonderful color. We always buy Sony Bravia, but just needed a 40" for our work out room. I seen all the 5 star reviews and decided to jump on the wagon too. Great decision. We can't believe at this price range is of such high quality. I would highly recommend.

Amazon Fire TV 43" 4-Series 4K UHD smart TV with Fire TV Alexa Voice Remote, stream live TV without cable

Nice TV, easy setup. I considered getting a larger TV for several years before finally ordering one last week. I got a good price, and it was delivered in 4 days, just as advised when I ordered. The Amazon delivery driver carried the package upstairs without being asked, and was pleasant and helpful. The TV itself is quite light, and I was easily able to unbox it myself (but anything larger than the 44” would need 2 people). The legs attached easily, and the cord and HDMI cables were obvious and easy to hook up. I had the unit in place and connected in just over 5 minutes.Since I’m not very tech-y, setup of new electronics is always a worry. I turned on the TV with the remote, selected my wifi network and entered the password. The TV then cycled several times through “downloading software” and “installing updates” screens. I was worried that I was stuck in some tech vortex, but just waited. After about 10-15 minutes, the TV prompted me to sign in with my Amazon account, asked whether I wanted extra channels or parental controls, then boom, it was on its regular Home Screen and I was good to go!Picture is clear and colors very saturated compared to what I previously had. Sound is good (general purpose, I’m not a music critic) and refresh rate very adequate for TV (I’m also not a gamer). I think that for my purposes (occasional TV viewing, probably less than 8 hours per week), this will be an excellent set that I will enjoy.
Affordable Smart TV. ⭐⭐⭐⭐The Amazon Fire TV 43" 4-Series 4K UHD Smart TV with Fire TV Alexa Voice Remote offers a convenient and affordable way to stream your favorite content without the need for cable TV.First and foremost, the picture quality of this TV is impressive. The 4K UHD resolution delivers sharp and vibrant images, bringing your favorite movies, shows, and games to life with stunning clarity and detail. Plus, the 43-inch screen size provides an immersive viewing experience that's perfect for both solo viewing and family gatherings. The integration of Fire TV into the smart TV itself is a standout feature. With the included Alexa Voice Remote, you can easily access a wide range of streaming services, apps, and channels, all with simple voice commands. Whether you're binge-watching your favorite series on Netflix, catching up on the latest news with CNN, or streaming live TV with services like Hulu + Live TV or Sling TV, the options are virtually endless.I appreciate the convenience of being able to stream live TV without the hassle and expense of a cable subscription. With access to popular streaming services and a wide selection of channels and content, there's always something to watch, no matter your interests or preferences. While the Amazon Fire TV 4-Series offers great value for the price, there are a few minor drawbacks to consider. Some users have reported occasional issues with lag or buffering, particularly when streaming high-definition content or using multiple apps simultaneously. Additionally, the sound quality may not be as robust as higher-end TVs, so you may want to consider investing in external speakers or a soundbar for a more immersive audio experience.Overall, if you're looking for an affordable and user-friendly smart TV that provides access to a wide range of streaming content, the Amazon Fire TV 43" 4-Series 4K UHD Smart TV is definitely worth considering. Four stars.
Great tv with an awesome picture. This is the first actual fire tv I've had. And I love it. It was easy to set up and has the best HD picture I've ever seen on a tv. It makes you feel like you are right there with the people. The 50 inch screen makes it feel like you're in a movie theater. I like that it came with a firestick remote. Now I have a new one to use for my new tv. This was a very worthwhile purchase. It's worth every penny I paid for it.
Great tv. Great TV for a great price. It is a little slow for NFL network, or NFL network bandwidth is bad. Great picture, Alexa mic. in remote, good sound. Amazon prime homepage is a little clunky and filled with too much cash grab stuff, but it works and you or Alexa can find plenty of stuff to watch.
Screen for Laptop Dock- Great Image & Color Quality. The amazon 4 series 55" 4k uhd tv was well worth the price. With 3840x2160 resolution, I can run multiple windows. And the HDR really gives high color contrasts for photos. For only $3~~ some dollars, Its less than half a pc monitor, pretty good speakers, and a lot of screen real state. The setup and updates took 30+ minutes (for fire tv and apps I'll never use). But it wasn't terrible. Will be ordering another. Cannot give input on the Alexa or Smart features. Only the power and volume button will ever be pressed on the remote. For a screen to use with my laptop dock, its great. Only issue is having a graphics card to output but an i7 with a 3060 seems to have no lag, or noticeable input delay. With lack of any good info on using tv's for pc screens and most info being negative, I can say this is a cheaper and quality route. In my picture, I opened several screens running at 3840*2160 with hdr on. Windows 11 set default size 300% (which is great if you can't see), But its set to 100% screen size. Perfect for my work station.

Hisense 43A6H is a very good 43 inch 4k smart TV for a low price. Several labels on and in the box warn that the actual screen should not be touched when lifting the TV out of the box, or when moving it around, because the panel can be cracked easily under direct pressure from a strong grip. This actually applies to most new TVs.I carefully held the TV by the thin frame when moving it around. It is very light at 15 pounds, however.Feet are about 33 inches apart. Easy to wall mount.I use the Hisense 43A6H primarily as a computer monitor, and for occasional TV or movie watching. 43 inches is a great size monitor for people with vision problems.Viewed from 4 feet away, I could not see any pixels. The 4K resolution allows text to appear very smooth on the screen. The IPS panel allows viewing from wider angles without the picture becoming dimmer - unlike VA panels which become dimmer when viewed from wide angles. The remote control has a large flat base, so it can stand vertically on a table. There are no number buttons on the remote control to directly choose a channel. The 123 button on the remote can be used to easily access a TV channel if one does not want to use the microphone - or if one does not want to repeatedly press the channel up/down button.I recently discovered TubiTV online, so I appreciate having a dedicated button for it on the remote control. The picture is easy to adjust. There are more video calibration controls and audio controls than I expected for a budget 4K television, but the colors seemed accurate out of the box.Bluetooth easily pairs the TV with the remote control and wireless headphones. There is a low blue light setting in the picture advanced settings menu. This minimizes eye strain when looking at the TV for long periods of time.Tech Steve has a good video showing how to use the variable refresh rate feature for video game consoles. The video is at the bottom of the Amazon page for this TV. Thanks, Steve.Sound is typical small TV speaker sound, but not screechy. I use a receiver to send audio to speakers next to the TV.There is a headphone jack as well as a digital optical audio out jack. The tuner picked up more than 100 over the air channels in the SF Bay area, using a flat indoor antenna taped to the window. The 1080p and 720p over the air signals looked great. Blu-Ray discs looked stunning.Casting from a phone was easy. The streaming apps worked fine, using both Wi-Fi and wired ethernet. Extra apps can be downloaded from google through the TV. The first time I turned on the TV, it automatically tried to connect to the internet via Wi-Fi. I prefer the wired ethernet connection for reliability reasons. The two USB ports each can support 128 Gigabyte USB memory sticks as well as 8 Terabyte hard drives - as long as they are in either NTSF or FAT32 formats. One of the three HDMI 2.0 ports has eARC.The Easy Setup guide in the box is actually a 24 page booklet, all in English. A more detailed multi-language e-manual can be viewed on the TV or downloaded onto a computer. For privacy reasons, I have not signed up for the built-in Google assistant app yet - and because I wanted to see how the TV performed without the Google or Alexa voice feature. So I have not tried the voice control on the remote control. The TV works fine if the microphone and Google TV features are not used.*I am very happy with this budget 4K television. No stuck pixels. Easy to set up. It worked fine right out of the box.Highly recommended.
hard to beat for the money. $260? it's a steal for a budget smart tv. love the Google platform. nice picture. just understand the viewing angles suck, that's the way the manufacturer saves cost. I sit in front so it doesn't matter to me. after about 25-30 degrees angle, the pic gets washed out. the sound is meh. I bought the Amazon sound bar, mates quite well with this tv. all and all of I'm very happy with this purchase for the price.
Worth the price. Didn't want to spend a lot on the a new TV, went from a 48 to a 65in. Totally worth it. The picture quality is good, easy to set up the Google feature. I made sure I was super careful with the TV setting it up since I saw a lot of people said the screen was easy to crack.
Filmmaker mode is your friend. Perfect size and lightweight enough to mount on a stand on my bedroom dresser. Great picture, brightness and color at most viewing angles from what I can tell but I'm just some guy lol. The Google UI is easy to navigate and the assistant is convenient. It streams smoothly, works great with my Xbox One X and Bluetooth. For the price, it was an excellent bargain. My primary complaint, as it is with most people I'm sure, is Motion Enhancement. First thing you're gonna wanna do after setup is make sure Motion Enhancement is turned off and set the Picture Mode to FILMMAKER MODE. You're welcome.
Great TV. I waited a while to post this, to ensure it would work beyond the "burn-in" period. It rocks: great picture with a wide spectrum of adjustment, PLENTY of volume, excellent connectivity with andriod (i cast virtually everything from mobile data. I have no cable or wifi), and an old school headphone jack. If i want killer sound, i plug it into a headphone pre-amp and an amp - hold on to your socks.LED vs LCD? Couldn't care less. The resolution is better than this human's eyes can process anyway. My only preference would have been a power button on the TV. No remote, no tv.
So heartbroken…. We were so excited to have such a large tv and we got this one specifically for the built in chrome cast (all our other TVs are fire TV’s) but the Oculus can cast easily with chrome cast and we are finally after almost 8 years able to put money into our family room to turn it from a cluttered play room with no seating and a small tv into an actually family room to sit together and watch movies and play the oculus together and this tv was a major part of that…First off, the delivery guys left it standing like on it’s side and leaning on the corner of a single 4x4 post on our porch not even completely under the porch roof. But whatever, we were SO FREAKIN’ CAREFUL! We didn’t put ANY pressure on the screen at all when we slowly and cautiously got it out of the box and mounted it. I don’t know WHY we didn’t plug it in first to check it but I guess excitement got the best of us and we didn’t notice any damage to the box… initially… Once we plugged it in it hit us like a ton of bricks. I honestly thought it was a prank, like it was gonna say “Gotcha!” or something and then go on to the setup screen but nope. It just flickered and showed all the cracks. What got us is, there are no actual visible cracks in the screen itself, it’s like cracked internally in the lighting or something. And when we took a closer look at the box, sure enough there was a gouge in the cardboard at the top where a lot of the damage is. So I don’t know what happened during packing, shipment or delivery but it’s way beyond repair. No, we don’t want to keep it for a partial refund, we just want a tv that actually works. Hell, one of our TV’s we bought from Amazon years ago has had a green screen glitch in it since a few days after we got it and we didn’t even bother returning it because we’re just not the type to return something and complain unless it’s REALLY messed up. This is really messed up. I just hope we can get the same one at the same price. And then I have to hope that it doesn’t have any cracks or defects and connects to our wifi and oculus smoothly. And then hope it works for years to come. Here’s to hoping!

Quality tv and a fair price. This tv was easy to set up, has good picture and sound quality, and arrived quickly at a fair price. Not much more you could ask for. It’s our first Roku tv, we use Roku devices for the other tvs but this is much more convenient.
Great value. I’m a fan of the TCL Roku TVs. I have two 55” series 6 sets that are going on 4 years old now that work great. This 32” set is a lower tier than the series 6, but it is great nonetheless considering the price. Roku is superior to Fire Sticks in my opinion because their performance doesn’t deteriorate over time and isn’t as jam packed with ads like the Fire devices. As for the TV itself, it has gotten a lot of use in the first month or so- my kids play a lot of Switch and PS4 on it as well as watch movies. As with all my Roku devices, the UI is quick and responsive. The TV has solid picture quality and there is no noticeable latency while gaming as long as the built in “Game Mode” is on. If you’re looking for a 32” TV that balances quaility and price, this is a great option.
BEST TV EVER. The picture is crystal clear and vibrant. Set up is easy. It's the perfect size for the bedroom. Thank you to another reviewer who intructed us that we can turn off the standby LED light by going to settings>system>power>standby LED. The feet were a little bit of a pain for me to get on, but not enough for me to deduct a star. The price beats all others I was considering. You can rename the HDMI ports like I did when I connected my DVD player. I have not bought a sound bar yet as recommended on the manual, but it is nice to know which port to use for it and what is compatible. I connected my digital antenna to the cable/antenna port and local stations automatically come up first in the guide on Live TV, then many streaming channels are listed, although a little different than my Samsung smart TV in the living room. The mute and volume buttons are convenient on the side of the remote, but I will use none of the 4 preset app buttons on the bottom. It would be nice if you could program these. I did notice that I cannot submit feedback via the * button like I could on my stick about apps that fail to load. Some might miss the numbers on a regular remote to quickly go to a local channel, but you can favorite ♡ channels. I see no power button on the TV itself. I did buy a riser that works well: LOTEYIKE Dual Monitor Stand for 2 Monitors, Large TV Riser.Parental controls are an option. Also, under privacy > advertising, you can personalize ads to see fewer ads about many topics that you can check off like mature content, violence, etc. You can put in your zipcode for local recommendations. There are power and sleep timer options.I did have to rearrange my Roku apps in my preferred grouping that I had installed on my previous Roku stick. For those not familiar with Roku: live TV with free streaming channels, videos apps, educational, movies, relaxing nature, music, health, self-help, and bible stuff (reading, teaching, prophecy, relaxing videos and true science). I don't need cable with all the cool stuff on Roku. This has the same wallpapers and themes as the stick. You can even set the screensaver to a fireplace, nature, something colorful, or a beautiful, live aquarium.Complaint: Roku live channels no longer have True History. So, for those of us wanting to learn about the Black Death, the plague of the Middle Ages or other fascinating history, we must install the Xumo app on Roku and go there to find it.
Great picture .... And room light. The TV has a great picture hence the 1080p ...easy to setup and a great price. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is the "ridiculously" large and very bright status light on the front and bottom of the unit. It literally lights up the bedroom at night. If you cover it the remote doesn't work. Why they need a light when the TV is off I don't know but this one is way too large and way too bright...almost returned the TV because of it. We have to get up an unplug it at night. If TV isn't in bedroom guess it's ok but a definite vampire electrical user!
Obnoxious Standy Light. This TV is very nice and the price is fantastic. I wasn't expecting such a nice tv for this price. This TV has a really good picture and the remote is easy to operate. The only problem I had with this TV was the obnoxious standby light. It lights up the room. I didn't discover this until the TV was already hung on the wall. But, I found out how to turn this off. I'm so glad TCL allows you to turn this off because I was really upset about this huge, obnoxious light. Turn on the TV, go to Settings...System...Power...Standby LED and switch to Off.
Awesome tv. This is my 3rd TCL TV. I love the Roku that's loaded on it with about 100 separate channels on it so you're bound to find something to watch. The app loading is easy and the picture is terrific for the money. The remote is very very basic just like the Amazon fire remote. I think this TV is a terrific value for the money!!!!!
TCL televisions are awesome. TCL televisions are a great value with wonderful resolution, contrast, and color palette. They have a higher resolution, the better the picture quality. I own 3 and they are so simple to setup!
HAVE ONE OF THESE TVs ALREADY THEY'RE GREAT. BUT DELIVERY BY USPS A NIGHTMARE. These Roku TVs are great. But what a nightmare it was getting it delivered!Amazon cannot select a carrier for you. They're kind of randomly picked. I don't know whatever happened to Amazon merchandise coming by Amazon carrier.....right to your door.....withsignature requested?I wasted an entire day waiting in my lobby yesterday! Only to get a USPS notification that my TVcouldn't be delivered so it was sent back to the facility for "pick up." I'm a Senior, with two bad kneesand no car?! How am I getting to their facility??? And that they attempted to deliver is a bold faced LIE.So, after much time on the phone, I was offered a refund. Good, I could finally return to my apartment. No more watching for the mail truck. But this morning, I see that it's "out for delivery!"Called Amazon again. Is my TV on a truck, at a facility, am I getting my money returned as arranged?I feel I deserve a refund AND the TV just for all the aggravation.I did get a notice a few minutes ago that my TV was downstairs. smhI found it on the outer side of an unlocked door? WHY? The Post Office knows how to get to ourmail room??Just a really sad experience.I don't hold it against Amazon or TCL. But US Post Office........sloppy! Real sloppy work!My present 40" is awesome. Great sound & picture. Have had it about 4 months. You can buy onewith confidence. : )

A Fantastic Upgrade. Out of the box: SIZE This is a BIG TV! 85" and every bit of the 91lbs listed as advertised. I upgraded from the Samsung 65" 4K 3D Curve TV. Don't worry, I still have it, just moved to another room! If you're shy or concerned about the weight have this professionally installed! I mounted this on my wall. I have 9' ceilings and the wall length is 17' 3/4". I can still say, this is a BIG TV!SETUP One of the easiest setups I've havd. I 4 Samsung TV's, and 2 other smart TV's. This was the easiest to setup by far! The intuitive interface of the TV is sophisticated and yet friendly if you're willing to slow your excitement to watch your favorite movie on such a large screen. Take the time to "dial in" your picture. Follow the prompts and don't hesitate to click on "advanced" in the display menu. Here, you can really fine tune your picture! Why should you do this? This is not a QLED or an OLED TV. Don't let that fool you! This "Crystal" TV can bring you an incredible picture, able to display 1 Billion colors! You owe it to yourself to spend time in the "Display" menu and really make the adjustments to your liking! After all, this is 4K UHD TV!Before I purchased this TV, I read ever single negative review. I am convinced of a few things: This Is 2023 technology and you should really take the time to research this TV at you local store. Simple things like a "Solar Remote" and not liking the sound quality, are just a few things people complained about. I have a big room, and a big wall. Sound straight from this TV surprised me! As a studio engineer, I didn't have any expectation of "Awesome Sound". (That's why you purchase a surround sound system or a sound bar) What sound this TV delivers is quite pleasant and fills my room. If you want movie quality sound, don't blame the TV! The technology is built into the TV! Take advantage and purchase a good system and your movie experience will be complete!FINALLY This 85" 4K UHD Crystal TV is worth the money! The smart features are PLENTY! The quality of picture is incredible. Sure you could pay $3-4K more for a smaller QLED or OLED. At 85", the price point comparison simply didn't make any sense! I've already watched everything from network television to Sci-fi, and sports. I'm very picky and not easily pleased. However, this TV checked ALL the boxes. One thing to mention that I didn't post earlier: I do have home network and Hi-speed internet! 100+Meg where the TV is hooked up and it shares the connection with my Xbox X. The 120hz refresh rate is REAL and noticeable! I have a Chromecast, and Firestick also attached. I am able to say even though the reviews talk about lagging, I have experienced NONE, and with my setup, I would have experienced it for sure bu now!I highly recommend purchasing this Television if you are looking for more than just, "bang for the buck" and want to feel like you got a fantastic upgrade from your old setup!
Beautiful TV, Bedroom Streaming Paradise. I bought this 43" TV to replace a TCL Roku TV. I’ve had this TV now for a month. What a difference! It was delivered on time and the box was carefully handled by the carrier. This is my 3rd Amazon TV purchase that has gone oh so well. It is highly compatible, simple to install, and simple to use.OUT OF THE BOX: Right out of the box, everything assembled perfectly. I love that these TV feet have two options for height. The feet seem sturdier than most thin profile “A frame” feet. The feet have two height options and the highest option pulled the TV right up over my sound bar so the remote could reach the TV sensor. JOY. My last TV I had to put the sound bar behind and it muted some of the sound. I read on the Samsung site that you can purchase a pedestal stand that sits on the floor. That would free up dresser space. I don't have a very flashy or large sound bar but it installed easily and I found the correct location to plug in the back. I did buy gold plated HDMI cord for the sound bar. My one gripe is that all the "labels" for the ports are just raised black plastic letters. I thought about labeling them for later, but did not. They need to be better defined, painted, peel off label, something different. It was hard to see those port names. This is not a deal breaker because once the sound bar was set up, I won't be accessing those much in the future. I tried also attaching a blue tooth small speaker just to test the blue tooth and it worked! I really felt like an expert at this point. The TV sound without a sound bar is adequate and not bad and there are several sound presets and settings. I had it set up within 20 minutes and did have some help getting it out of the box and up on my dresser. We did not wall mount, but it is so thin it would be excellent as a wall mounted TV. The TV updated with the latest firmware once it was turned on and running.ANTENNA DEVICE: I attached a separate local antenna. I had a bit of a hard time finding the antenna scanner options, but with some setting exploration the TV scanned 30+ channels and now I have some local that I can search for weather and news. It will take a bit of time to find the settings in the beginning, but you will get used to them.ROKU DEVICE: I attached a Roku Ultra to this TV. Though this TV had an app for Roku, I did not activate that one. The Roku also attached beautifully and I do not need to use my Roku remote, the Samsung remote worked so well for the Roku too!APPS and STREAMING: All APPS easy to log in, set up and go as you would expect from a Smart TV. You can customize your APP layout. Make sure you set up your Samsung account. You get Samsung TV+ straight out of the box. All streaming apps are available and with the Roku attachment, even more! There is a gaming hub also, my daughter is going to try it out soon and there is three months free. We have minimal lag sometimes but it could be our internet. The APP icons are a little smaller than I would have loved, but not a problem. I’m streaming via WIFI and not Ethernet. No problems streaming. My router is across the house from this TV. The SmartThings app helps to also integrate this TV with many other devices throughout the living space.REMOTE: On to the remote which seems to be the nemesis of those that don’t adapt well to change. A couple weeks in, I was all about this remote! Yes it is very small, but once you get used to it, you can maneuver all over the TV. Voice access works well though sometimes not as “smart” as my Roku remote voice commands. It uses Bixby and Alexa. The remote charges with solar to room light OR you can charge with a USB plugin type C. Give the remote a chance, it was a little challenging at first but now I love it! Samsung remote operates the sound bar perfectly for volume and on/off. I am not sure that other features of the sound bar work with Samsung remote like the sound bar preset sounds. If I want to change those I just use the sound bar remote. You can check the remote battery level in settings. I’ve not had to plug it in to charge yet but I did to test and it works fine.SUGGESTED SETTINGS: As stated in another review: The default picture mode looks like you are looking through a window. You can change that if you don’t like it by switching to dynamic mode. Additionally the Gama setting may be too high for you and you can change to the minimum. Do play around with the settings for the best picture quality. It is also suggested to change the “Motion Xcelerator” by moving the slider called “Judder Reduction. Default is 10 which is maximum. Try setting it to 1 or 2 to get the best fast action scenes with no ghosting or artifacts. Great for sports action! I’m still learning some settings.CONTRASTS: Contrasts are fantastic and the black seems to be very deep and rich. I notice some back lighting but ONLY on the default screen saver..BRIGHTNESS: I’m truly not understanding anyone complaining about the brightness, but they are. My bedroom faces the South and has two large windows which brings in maximum sunlight during the day. There is no problem with the TV being bright enough at all when watching in the daytime.with fully opened blinds and curtains.COLORS and PICTURE: Crystal clear and vibrant, with no blurriness/ High resolution and dramatic display. Everything to love! Beautiful projection on the display from any seating position in the room.
Great TV for bedroom. Samsung 50-Inch 4K Crystal UHD LED Smart TV with HDR, Motion... Great TV. Bought to hang on wall in bedroom (replaced giant Plasma sitting on dresser for years). Easy to install, works great, looks great, perfect for wall mount. Speakers are not made for cranking tunes. Again, perfect for a bedroom. I like the simplicty of the remote.
Easy install, very good picture, does reflect lamps. We wanted a mid priced replacement TV and didn’t need all the bells and whistles. This is a very good TV, easy to install, good for the price, clear picture, hooks up easily to a Yamaha sound bar, pairs easily with Roku remote for Roku and sound control. The only drawback is that it does reflect lamps in the screen, so you have to turn those off near where you are watching.
Wow - I'm sold. We were looking for a much bigger TV to go on our wall in our family room. I was really kind of set on an LG, when I came across this TV. As I read the reviews really carefully I was worried about the remote but the TV sounded great. The TV is absolutely fantastic! I have to say that I like the remote. It is quite small but it's nice that it will do a solar charge or you can hook it into a USB as well. You do want to keep track of the remote because it is small but I think it's really easy to use. The TV is super clear. Some people say that they don't think it's very bright but I think it's more than adequate. They also mentioned some settings that were a problem for them. Specifically an artifact setting for sports. I watch a lot of sports and I was worried about it but when I went into the detailed menu from the good gentleman who wrote about that in his review, my settings were already set to a 2. And that's what he had suggested as well. So basically we hung it on the wall. It took about 5 minutes to set up and we were streaming happily minutes later. I couldn't be more happy with this TV.

Great TV. Quick, easy setup. Great picture. Inexpensive but excellent!
Great tv. This is my second Roku TV. This one is way better picture sound Westinghouse built very good TV for the money. Set up is easy peasy
Love it. Good picture quality and lots to choose from.... Easy directions to follow
The Roku TV works great. The Roku TV worked great from the start and was super easy to setup with my smart phone. The TV did most everything automatically (except for typing in the user and password IDs). I was able to quickly login to my all of my streaming apps and had everything going in about 20 to 25 minutes. Waiting for the Roku TV software updates took most of the time. I couldn't be happier with the TV performance and with the ease and speed of setting everything up.
Tv. Quality nice Roku tv. Set up was easy.
QUALITY AT GOOD PRICE. The tv was delivered as promised and well packaged. It was not hard to assemble the legs and make the connections. I like the limited outer edge being narrower than most TVs and appears to look like a total picture. The quality of the picture is excellent. I am hoping the TV will last for a good while and lives up to the Westinghouse name. Have always trusted their quality and hope they maintain even though now produced in China. Happy with purchase so far.
At last easy peasey. Price was great, nice clear picture
perfect. this is what I needed to replace my old TV works great.

Great monitor, holds the last input when powering on. I know most people don't use their TVs flat on a recycled gaming desk frame like this, but this was the use case for this monitor. I needed a 43" 4K monitor and this TCL Google TV was the perfect one. The biggest feature that this TV has that I like is the fact that you can set it to remember the last input when powering up. As a result, I don't have to switch out of the Smart TV mode in order to get the monitor connected to the Computer. Not all TVs do this and not all TCL TVs do this.As for the display, the picture quality is amazing, I've set it up for low latency, high contrast, and vivid colors. It makes the virtual pinball tables look fantastic. There is no smearing when the ball is moving all over the table, lights flashing, and flippers going wild.Value is great as well. I did WAY too much research on TVs and found this to be a great value for the size, the 4K picture quality, and the 240Hz Motion Rate which helps with the rapidly moving images.Shipping was fast and well done. Packaging is typical for TVs nowadays, slim box with accessories on the top. No damage in shipping, all worked beautifully out of the box.I will definitely be buying this one again for future Pinball Tables.
Amazing Value. I've had this TV for a few months now and it's been everything I could need and more! unlike some smart TV's, this one ACTUALLY seems "smart". It has a google system and it was super easy to set it up with my preexisting google account. The visuals are beautiful and i'm shocked I could get such a big, 4K TV for less than 300 dollars. There are tons of customization features and automation settings, and voice activation too. I only had one issue and it immediately fixed itself with the first troubleshoot I tried. Also, I was super surprised to see that it gave me hundreds of free channels and programs too! Honestly, my parents paid thousands for their Samsung TV but this one is lowkey better. But I might just be biased 😅. I bought this for my XBOX 1X and the quality is phenominal. This TV has almost every HDR setting available to make gaming as well as other entertainment crystal-clear and vibrant. And it's BUILT IN! Anyways, This TV is an amazing deal for the quality, I cannot recommend it enough!
Decent TV, serves its purpose for the price. Definitely not going to wow anyone except for price paid. That said, it's not bad, it's just not good either.I love Google TV, but they're powering it with a 1990 cell phone processor here. It's slow.Picture is pretty terrible out of the box, but check out the ratings s450g calibration settings guide and adjust the TV accordingly. Absolutely massive difference in picture quality and colors.Speakers are terrible, and for some reason this TV doesn't play nicely with my soundbar so I've been stuck with the TV speakers. All that said though, the price was great, so in all fairness...I'm getting a lot of entertainment for the price so it's worth a 4 star rating.
If you are getting this TV, That mean you know what you are buying. I truly like this TV, I bought for my PS5. When I got this TV I knew what I was buying. I was not getting Sony or LG. It is a very decent TV with a great picture and price, that will give you a good upgrade to 4K if you didn't have 4k before like me. 60 Hz is very good for games and movies, with a Motion Rate 240. NOTE: Motion Rate is not the same as Hertz(A refresh rate) so don't get too excited when you see that in the description. My only advice is when you get the TV adjust the picture to your liking there are many options, so adjust it to the best picture and quality for your eyes. This TV will give you what you need and maybe more, but not what you want. You will need to put in more money to get what you want.
Worthless! DO NOT BUY. First and LAST TCL purchase I will ever make. Tech support has me factory resetting every issue, of which there are plenty. At this point, I've spent several times more of my time troubleshooting THEIR problems with this TV than I would have at a second job to just buy their whole god-forsaken company and fix them myself. Message to all TCL employees: quit and find some other industry. Please, you are worthless. TV won't turn on sometimes. TV won't turn off using the power button oddly located UNDER the TV. TV doesn't respond to remote if it is physically lower than the TV. Remote has to be re-paired to the TV once a week. TCL-made sound bar takes 10+ minutes to be detected by the TV, unless you power cycle the TV. When the sound bar is finally detected, it's practically FULL VOLUME! TCL app cannot find the TV. Internet sometimes is not detected by the TV. TCL tech support is just as worthless, and I'm now stuck with this junk, due to their unfamiliarity. Their other troubleshooting tips do not apply. Power buttons aren't where they say they are, settings they describe do not exist. Even the HDMI Arc input # is wrong. What a disaster of a company. I could wipe my ass with a square of TP and the randomness of what was presented would be a better design.
You have got to see it to believe it. This is a great TV for such a low price. Set up was easy. During the set up process, we were given the option to use it as a standard TV or a Google smart TV. One thing to consider is that It does lack RCA inputs or outputs so you won't be able to use your outdated DVD/CD player or Cassette deck. (If it wasn't outdated before you started setting the TV up, they will be soon.) The TV does have one 1/8" jack stereo audio output so you can run the audio to your home entertainment system. The Dolby audio and video processing enhances the overall viewing experience. The UHD screen is vibrant, sharp, and refresh is fast! I like the border-less, edge to edge viewing area. I am pleased with my purchase and will keep TCL in mind next time I need a TV.
43 inch tv. This is a great tv for the bedroom. Bought the tv for sports the picture was more than I expected. The sound settings are great. Excellent purchase just what I was looking for.

Great Tv. I recently purchased the renewed VIZIO 43-Inch V-Series 4K UHD LED HDR Smart TV, and I couldn't be more pleased with my decision. This TV offers an exceptional blend of cutting-edge technology and affordability, making it a standout choice for both casual viewers and avid gamers.I orginally brought the TV because my pervious TV had been destroyed. Opting for the renewed model was a wise choice. The TV arrived in excellent condition, and I couldn't tell the difference from a brand-new unit. This not only saved me money but also contributed to reducing electronic waste. In conclusion, the VIZIO 43-Inch V-Series 4K UHD Smart TV is a fantastic investment. With its outstanding picture quality, smart features, and gaming enhancements, it exceeds expectations. Whether you're a movie buff, a binge-watcher, or a gamer, this TV offers an unbeatable combination of performance and value. I highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a reliable and feature-packed 4K smart TV.
Smart TV. works great
Great for price. The TV is great, it is exactly what you ask for, only problem is I didn't get a power cord in the package; luckily I had an extra one; so be sure to look for missing parts
DO NOT BUY. The television arrived on time, BUT, the screen is damaged. It has a very bright spot, like the digitizer or the backlight is damaged. Spend a bit more and get a brand new TV.
Good for the price. Good works to watch movies
Top notch. Excellent, remarkable software package & connects Enuosuma BT! I can wirelessly stream 4K VLC movies right from my smartphone ( CAST APP required to link via Wi-Fi ). Flawless image, great product VIZIO!
Great TV. I had purchased one for myself and my husband enjoyed mine so much that we ordered him one.
Vizio Tv. Taking too long to switch channels.
