Nokia 8.1 Quick Review: Beautiful look Android smartphone

On Monday, HMD Global launched the new Nokia 8.1 smartphone at an event held in New Delhi. Nokia 8.1 is not a completely new handset because it is the global variant of Nokia X7. The company had screened the Nokia 8.1 in Dubai last week. Nokia’s new phone has been launched in India at Rs 26,999. We have been using Nokia 8.1 for the past few days. Let us tell you how far we have found this smartphone and what is special about it. Read the quick review of Nokia 8.1.

Design and Look:
Nokia’s new handset is beautiful to watch and you may like it at first glance. Nokia 8.1 is equipped with a premium design. The phone has Nokia’s branding downward. The handset is curved along the side so that it is convenient to hold in hand. Volume and power buttons are given on the right side which we have no trouble using. On the left side the SIM tray has been given in the phone. The handset has a micro-USB and speaker grill on the bottom edge. There is a 3.5mm audio jack on the upper edge. Made from 2.5mm aluminum 6000 grade sheets with quad Glass Design, this Nokia phone has a fantastic body. But due to the glass body, it slips through hands and it easily falls on the fingerprints.

Specifications:
Nokia 8.1 has 6.18 inch PureView IPS LED display, which is equipped with fullHD + 2246 × 1080 pixel resolution. Text and pictures look great on display On the display in the handset there is a Notch which has front camera and sensor. Overall, HMD Global has done a great job in terms of display and design.

Talk of Specifications Nokia 8.1 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, 64 GB inbuilt storage and 4 GB RAM. During our limited use of time we had no problem using the device. Nokia’s handset is Android One device and the stock Android Experience remains as good as ever. The special thing is that the phone runs on Android 9 Pie.

Camera:
Talk to the camera, Nokia 8.1 has a 20-megapixel front camera. Selfie taken from the phone made us feel good This Nokia phone has 12 megapixel primary and 13 megapixel secondary sensor. Dual SIM card slots are provided in the handset. The phone comes with a hybrid SIM touch. Talking about the dual rear camera, we liked the photos we took in a limited time. However, we can not decide on the camera yet. Regarding camera performance, we will make a final decision in our detailed review.

3500mAh battery is provided in the phone and the company claims that the phone will get battery life of up to 2 days. The battery is equipped with USB Type C port and 18 Watt Fast Charging Adapter Supported.

Our idea:
Nokia 8.1 is a beautiful device and can be a great option. But we will make a decision about its overall performance only after our in-depth review. Nokia 8.1 has been launched in affordable prices and it will get a tough challenge from Poko F1. This Nokia phone runs on Google’s latest operating system and is part of the Android One program. Nokia 8.1 can be a perfect package with RAM, processor and camera, but we will check it further, check it out.
