Tremendous Value. This 16" laptop has the most features, at the highest specs, for the lowest cost. I spent months reading reviews and comparisons to other laptops, and I decided on this model because it offered the best value. So if that is your primary concern, buy this laptop.I'm a creative entrepreneur who also games, so I needed a machine that could be fun while also making me money, yet without looking like a typical gamer laptop. The Nitro will play all of the latest games on Ultra and run them perfectly. The 4070 has 8 GB of VRAM, and in most situations this is plenty. There are a few games that require more for the highest quality textures, but you can toggle a different feature off to compensate, and it'll then run it at a high FPS. The DLSS and RTX on some games help it run even smoother. This laptop has excellent cooling, with multiple vents. The fans are not as loud as I thought they would be. In fact, when you use the included Nitro software, you can toggle it for everyday use and the fan is near-inaudible. There's an even quieter setting for absolute silence. The fan does get loud when playing a few intense games at max, but your headphones can block it out with in-game sound. The same is true for most desktop towers, and is the nature of gaming. The screen is excellent, with vivid colors, high brightness, a 165 Hz refresh rate, and a 16:10 ratio. The extra vertical height serves a valuable purpose when reading documents and editing images in graphic design programs. It's also pleasing to the eye. The thin bezels add to this appeal.Lots of connection ports. Fast Wi-Fi and ethernet. The keyboard is slightly squishy, but it's fine, and I use a full external keyboard anyway. The backlit keys are fun, useful, and can be modified in 4 zones, or turned off. The included webcam isn't stellar, but it works like you want it to.The only concern I had with this laptop is the 16 GB of RAM. They are high-speed sticks from Hynix, but when I multitasked in Photoshop, Chrome, and other editing programs, or while gaming at max settings, it would sometimes use 95% of the RAM. That's not a problem with the hardware, because RAM is designed to be utilized at its fullest for hours at a time, but I knew that I'd be doing simultaneous video and audio editing while browsing that would require more RAM, so I upgraded to 64 GB G.Skill RipJaws. It turns out that this was overkill, and I never utilize more than 32 GB. The 16 GB is fine for most creative people.Similar situation with the built-in SSD. It's a fast model Samsung, but I needed more space, so also upgraded the SSD from 1 TB to two 2 TB Samsung Pro 990s, to fit the extra m.2 drive bay. There is no third bay for a SATA SSD platter, as there was on the previous Nitro model. The laptop battery is huge, but this laptop supports USB-C charging. I purchased a 140 watt portable USB-C battery with a 240 watt cable. When plugged-in, this charger provides all of the necessary energy to run my applications and keep the battery at max. This lightweight charger makes trips to the library easier. However, once plugged in, Acer notifies me with a brief message that the laptop is not receiving the ideal amount of power. Unfortunately there are no 240 watt portable chargers available on the market at the moment. Some day soon they'll have 240 watt chargers and the larger brick will be obsolete. To conclude, this laptop can do everything you need a laptop to do, while also playing games at max, and it provides a tremendous value.---Here is the information I gathered about this machine, from various reviews and the internal readouts after owning it. I wish Acer added this to the sales page to have helped with my initial purchase, but since they didn't, here it is for you, to help with your decision.Acer Nitro 16 (AN16-41-R5KC) 2023Launched: January 2023. Not sure why anyone would give this less than 5 stars. Overall Build Quality: Laptop is nice and thicc. Thick plastic casing and has some weight to it. Screen is really nice and only thing I would say that's, "wrong" with it is the colors. Some pedant in these reviews mentioned the colors looking washed out on certain images. I've only noticed that once on some yellow background and it's so minimal I wouldn't knock any points for it. Because the screen is really nice. So nice in fact, that I now want to replace my 144hz 1080p monitor on my main PC. The keyboard is really nice too. When I'm casually gaming I'll use the laptops keyboard but I still prefer a nice ,clicky, mechanical keyboard. Speakers aren't super loud if that matters to you but they sound okay.Cooling: They used liquid metal on the CPU and GPU instead of thermal paste so the temperatures stay below 80 degrees Celsius without any additional cooling. The fans have only blasted one time for me and I was gaming without the laptop propped up. Overall, the laptop is very quiet and stays cool. Only issue with the liquid metal is it will be a pain to change out in the future and you might want to take it to a professional to replace for you.Battery: I'm able to do an entire session(8 hours) of Ableton music production on just battery life... Haven't tried recording yet but I'm not worried. The battery also charges very fast and lasts a long time, which is nice. I haven't tried gaming on battery life but maybe I will and add to review later.Gaming/Screen: 10/10 for gaming, what I would expect for a laptop at this price point and it delivers. No need for an external monitor, I'm able to play Counter Strike 2 on this laptop alone without issue. 165-185FPS at 2K but can probably improve a lot dropping to 1080p. There's obviously delay but visually unnoticeable. I played DOOM(2016) on Ultra at 2K resolution with steady 185FPS.Optimus: Laptop has advanced Optimus. You can also bypass Optimus altogether and have the laptop run solely on the 4060 GPU bypassing the IGPU. Very nice laptop.
Best gaming laptop, for the price. This Acer might be the best option for price to performance, right now. The 4060 and 7840hs are more than powerful enough to drive the 1920x1200 resolution at max settings, high refresh rate in every modern game I've tried out. It's really a perfectly balanced set-up, for spec, that should last quite a while. The laptop has solid build quality, stays pretty quiet in all but the Turbo setting (I generally just use Performance. Nearly the same clock/ CPU speeds, but fans aren't maxed out), and has great repairability/ upgradeability (just unscrew the bottom plate, pop it off, and everything is right there). The IPS screen is quite nice, and the extra vertical space you get with the 1920x1200 res, over standard 1920x1080 really benefits the viewing experience. Keyboard is pretty good, and the RGB is solid, if you're into that (I use it as key lighting primarily). Not a huge fan of touchpads without deparated mouse buttons, but this one is overall fine, I just use a usb mouse when I need it. Speakers aren't great (standard for laptops), but, the laptop comes stock with DTS:X, which makes a huge difference. It boosts the sound a ton, and adds a ton more depth and scope to the sound. I'd highly recommend keeping it installed, and running it. I don't even use headphones (as i normally would), it's so good. I've been able to play everything I own at max settings (modern games included), taking advantage of the 165hz Gsync panel. May have to enable DLSS, or frame gen, etc. when dealing with RTX, but the 4060 has it covered. Temps are awesome. In the heaviest loads, GPU maxes out around 70c and CPU gets to the 80s. Overall, I think it's an amazing value for a gaming set-up, and really well balanced in the spec department, and would easily recommend it

Great for gaming. I got this go that I can play games at different locations and not disturb others in the family or hang out with them while they are watching something I have no interest in Easily plays all my games, good size monitor, speed and graphics. Loads games much quicker than my periods laptop. Good value
Great laptop. I like the size of the screen and the overall solid feel of the laptop. Its very fast and efficient. The only con Ive found so far is it gets very hot (I do play my game for hours tho)however the built in fans are very effective at the ultra setting and able to cool the laptop down substantially. So far great gaming laptop. Graphics are beautiful BUT screen brightness is lacking a little but not much.Pros- Fast , Efficient, Good Graphics, Loud and clear sound quality.Cons- Temp, Loud fans, Screen could be a tad bit brighter.I got the model that goes for $799 regularly. No regrets with this purchase it does what I wanted it to do.
Good value for gaming laptop. I used to play world of warcraft 11 years ago but the game got ahead of my technology. So I had to give it up. in Facebook group I saw this laptop recommended as a good value for a gaming laptop. I decided to treat myself. I love it! I love how the keyboard lights up, I love how it boots up quickly, the great response in gameplay. The only thing that I do not like about it is the battery life is like 3 hours. I called the acer help desk to see is this is a problem. I was told that this is normal. This is not a problem for me because I do not travel and can plug it in when I need the battery recharged. This might be a problem for other folks.
Solid Entry Level Gaming Computer (Detailed). Detailed First Impression ReviewI’ve been on Xbox for a long time for gaming and wanted to see the hype behind PC gaming. I do many things with my computer that a desktop would not work for me, as I have to move it around frequently and like portability, so I explored into the gaming laptop world. This was a cheaper, yet good option for an entry level Device.Processor- I bought the i7-11800H model and this processor seems to be a bit overkill for even some higher end games. But it’s great to have that extra power to multitask as well. I have not had any issues with the processing power. It’s fast and smooth.Graphics- I’m using the RTX-3050Ti and I’ve seen the card likes to run at 100% nearly all the time when in a game but I have had no issues with its capability of running smoothly and not overheating, and I haven’t even tried any undervolting yet which could improve it more.RAM- the 16gb ram and 4gb vram work well together. I use the heavily graphic related game of BeamNG Drive that requires a lot of RAM to run smooth and have tried several multiplayer games and have never seen the RAM get over 70% (which is pretty good for heavily demanding games). This was Plenty of RAM for the gaming I do to keep it running smooth.Overall- this is a great starting laptop for anyone looking for a gaming laptop or something fast for multitasking. Sure there might be a couple other options with similar price ranges that might perform slightly better. But this one was the lowest price I saw for what you get out of it and it’s been working just fine for me. I haven’t had it long so I may be back to update this if my opinion changes lol. But first impressions were really good.Negatives- the graphics card works really great as mentioned above, but if you use it running at 100% for a couple hours you can completely notice a performance drop because the temperature starts to get too hot. I haven’t had it overheat but I have had some slight performance differences after a while of hard use. That’s really the only “issue”, that’s not a huge deal, that I’ve had. And it’s correctable by changing up some deeper settings. As I have mentioned, this is a great ENTRY Level laptop. I would not recommend this laptop to anyone that is heavily into gaming. It works great for what I want to do with it but it would work pretty bad for a professional gamer (not that pros would ever use a laptop for gaming lol). I am also newer to PC gaming but I’m pretty savvy with computers. So being able to change some settings that the average newer user wouldn’t know how to, without YouTube tutorials, have made this laptop perform a little better than out of the box. But these changes I made so far are all settings included on the computer, not third party software included in this review (meaning anyone can change the basic settings to improve the performance slightly as I have).PS- I thought I had a dead laptop when it came like other reviewers complained about. I read the review of one person that said you have to jam the power plug in there really good til it clicks for it to work. I initially thought I pushed hard enough and heard a light snapping sound, but it wouldn’t charge or turn on. So I pushed a lot harder and heard it click a lot louder and it started charging perfectly fine and started up right away.
Great Visuals. Great for Technical Work. Great Computer. This computer works well as promised.I'm a freelancer helping clients with video editing/marketing work and find this laptop to be a great upgrade to my prior equipment.Running programs such as CAPCUT, Adobe Premiere, and online courses are smooth and effective.Very smooth. Happy I bought it.
Amazing screen quality and performance at its price, but loud fans and poor speakers. The screen was sufficiently bright and could run games pretty well, but the fans were pretty loud and the speakers were kinda meh quality. The build quality of the laptop itself was very impressive, very rugged and durable, and the hinges seem like they would last at least 6-7 years.I found that you could lower the fan sound a little by setting the Power profile of your computer to Balanced, and helping it even further along by setting the display to 60 Hz, but it might require you to use Vertical Sync/VSYNC in some games. I was able to run Starfield at 100+ FPS on Low, but the fans were blaring at me the entire time. The fact that it also comes with SATA drive support is also very impressive, because most laptops have completely abandoned SATA support for NVME to save space and for slightly better thermal performance. This computer also has 2 fans for improved thermals (weird fact, I know, but some laptops only have 1), but they also generate twice the noise.Aside from that, this is a very solid entry-level gaming laptop and will be able to run modern games at low-medium settings for at least a few years.
The computer was delivered ahead of the schedule given by Amazon. The installation was easy and so far the computer has met all my expectation
no problems in setting up the laptop very happy with my new machine

Good value and performance. Product ID: G614JI-AS94.Price: $1649.Pros:- Value. The I9-13980HX + GeForce RTX 4070 are a step above mid-tier hardware and are offered here at a reasonable price compared to other "gaming laptops."- Performance. I've been able to play the newest and biggest games all on high / very high settings. I've had no issues, and I feel as if the games look and play great.- Upgradability. I've NOT upgraded my machine as I don't wish to void the warranty. However, and as there was confusion in other reviews, I have personally spoken directly with ASUS support ,as well as Crucial support, and I've confirmed that YES this machine can be upgraded to 64GB of Ram (2x 32GB sticks) and YES there is an available open SSD slot. As such, and considering current prices of Ram and SSDs, you can scale this up to 64GB Ram and add second SSD for a D-drive for a minimal additional investment to really finish out this machine.- Wifi. I get SIGNIFICANTLY better wireless Internet speeds on this device than the older gaming laptop I replaced. Did not expect that, but was pleasantly surprised.- Sounds. Speakers sound good enough. Music through Spotify is crisp and bass gets picked up okay too.Cons:- Battery life. When playing a video game on battery power, I get about only 45-minutes of game time, which is disappointing. However, performance seems to remain higher than expected. When general web browsing or doing home office tasks, I get about 3 hours. When streaming content, such as Netflix, I about about 2 hours, which is frustrating as you can't really watch a movie on a single charge.- Number pad. I was expecting a digital number pad or display as part of the track pad per the advertisement. This model number, G614JI-AS94, does not have that feature and that was very disappointing and seemed misleading.- Touchpad. Doesn't feel as responsive as the touchpad on the older gaming laptop I replaced. Additionally, oftentimes after exiting a video game the touchpad will outright not work and require a device restart.- Lights. As an adult, the multicolored lights are annoying and not something I'm interested in. It was not immediately intuitive on how to turn them off, but I found out that you can do so through the included software.- Startup sound. It's awful and ear piercing! I can't figure out how to turn it off.- Camera. Would have liked a better resolution here as it's not great.Indifferent:- Screen. I'm not a "gamer" so I don't really care or know anything about refresh rate. For me, it seems bright, clear, and things look good! However, I personally wish it was a 15.6 inch machine and not the 16 inch, as I'd prefer a slightly smaller and wider screen than this square.- Ports. Good enough for me and has everything I needed. However, some people might wish for more options. Conclusion:If you're not a real gamer, but want to play games, this is a great option that offers value and performance along with upgradability.
Perfect laptop. So I had a fully upgraded Alienware M16 for about 3 months. Within those 3 months, I've had Dell replace the board twice and my issues still weren't resolved. To make a long story short, they did a full refund (thankfully) and after doing a lot of research and watching a ton of videos I decided to pull the trigger on the ROG STRIX G16 and I'm glad I did! I bought the I9 13980HX/RTX 4070/16GB ram and 1tb SSD. I upgraded it to 64gb of ram (yes it's compatible as you can see in the photo I posted) it's also compatible to run at 5200mhz instead of the slower 4800mhz. It also has a 2nd SSD slot so it has 2 of the crucial T500 2tb SSD's in it for a total of 4tb now. This laptop is fast and extremely solid and can run anything including games at high settings without a problem. I got the 165hz panel and I guess I was lucky because I don't have the infamous backlight bleed. It's vibrant, and very crisp. The keyboard is nice and highly customizable and nice and bright. It's not mechanical but still has a nice feel to it. The mouse pad is large and responsive. The speakers surprisingly sound really nice considering they're laptop speakers (I'm actually impressed) and as far as heat, it stays between 65-72 degrees under heavy load so I couldn't be happier about that! I love this laptop and it puts other "high quality" systems to shame! I really don't have any cons about it as of now. If something comes up, I'll come back and update my review but as of now, I'd definitely recommend buying it if you're in the market! I can't stress that enough! It's a beast and I love it!
Impressive overall, but there are a few short comings. For a laptop, this is extremely impressive. The i9 12900H can outperform my previous desktop pretty easily and the RTX 3070 TI can handle most 2k gaming without struggling. This laptop comes with performance tuning and RGB adjustment right out of the box. The keyboard is nice, I personally don't like the number pad and had to disable that function because it's just to easily activated, having the number pad to a keybind instead would have been perfect though. Additionally, only16gbs of RAM and 1tb of storage in a $2000+ laptop is kind of underwhelming and 32gbs RAM and a 2tb drive for the OS would have been more ideal, but at least they are fully upgradable with and have an extra m.2 slot available assuming you are willing to open up this thing.I am personally not bothered by the lack of webcam because my phone's camera is more than good enough to use instead. The included power brick isn't very small or light, but don't see how they could easily make it smaller considering the power this machine requires.Only 4 USB connections total is also unfortunate and that's including the tb4 and the displayport capable 3.2 on the back. To make matters worse, there's also no native displayport, so unless your monitor has an HDMI 2.0 port, you won't get full use out of it. The tb4 is very handy though and if you are willing to get a tb4 splitter/hub it can add a lot of the ports that are otherwise absent, but all of the decent ones I have found all are more than $100 dollars and require external power just to operate as far as I know.As far as performance goes though, this thing won't disappoint, the fan noise is also much more reasonable than I expected. Of course it's not going to be quiet under higher loads, but it gets quite reasonable performance even when it's optimized for more quiet operation. I got unlucky and my particular unit unfortunately has some coil wine when under load that is particularly annoying to me, but that's most likely just due to bad luck rather than a problem with every laptop.Quick Edit: The coil wine went away after a few days of running the laptop.I mostly got display port alt mode to function through the USB 3.2 the display is 2k 165hz and it runs at that speed with no added latency (the reason why I say almost is that I can't get the Nvidia control panel to detect the display, but it's there in windows settings).I also upgraded the RAM to a 32Gb kit of Kingston fury 4800mhz cl38, the new RAM makes the laptop even faster in games that are affected by RAM speed I would recommend this upgrade if you can afford it, a Kingston 2tb pcie gen 4 ssd is also on the way.
By far the coolest laptop I ever have. The RGB visual effect is awsome and it is perfect for playing game. The design of keystone and numerical keypad is intersting as well. PS: The review is written for a warranty extension from ASUS.

WoW Player Here - Excellent Bang for Your Buck. TLDR; This is an excellent machine for the money if you are an MMORPG player. No regrets about buying this one. It's a keeper.I recently got back into World of Warcraft after many years away and my old laptop just couldn't keep up. I started looking around at laptops capable of WoW gaming and actually tried out an MSI Stealth for a couple of weeks. It was a pretty laptop and lightweight, but man it struggled to keep up just being in a main city. Then I had a battery issue with it and decided to shop around instead of sending my brand new laptop in for work. How I use it: Play WoW, I use it for my side gig (AI Chatbots) and general doom scrolling. I don't overclock or do anything fancy to try to squeeze more out of my machine, other than minor upgrades and settings tweaks.I looked at a ton of laptops and combos of specs and finally thought I'd give this one a try. It had slightly better specs than the MSI at around the same price. This laptop is awesome. It never struggles to keep up at. I haven't done any raids yet so I don't know how it will perform in that situation but I will update once I know.Pros: performs beautifully playing World of Warcaft. Fan almost never needs to kick in, yet it also doesn't get that hot.Cons:Size/weight: this thing is heavy and huge. It packs a punch but you sacrifice portability. Yes it's a 16" laptop but I hadn't imagined just how big and heavy it would be. I have a 16" laptop for work and this is far heavier. It feels well made though. Yes you can still carry it around, but you won't want to much. I mostly keep it at home anyway so that's not a deal breaker for me.Battery life: yeah, it's pretty bad. I've been on battery power for almost an hour on "eco-mode" and it's down 15%. The power brick is also huge, so if you are communiting or traveling with this often, the weight and size of the computer with brick is going to be a drag.RAM limited to 32gb: I'm suprised such a big and powerful laptop can only take up to 32gb of ram. I have not yet upgraded my RAM yet because it's performed so well so far. I do have 32gb on hand and plan to upgrade anyway. But seeing how well it's performed so far, not having 64gb might not be an issue at all. Can't (yet) figure out how to wake from sleep with bluetooth keyboard/mouse. I have changed every possible setting under the sun, including tweaking the BIOS and it still doesn't wake on bluetooth mouse/keyboard. That's annoying. I have a really small desk that houses to 27" monitors and two laptops. I keep the laptops in a vertical stand which saves me tons of space, but it's super annoying to have to pull this thing out, open it up and wake it up.
One of the best mid-tier gaming laptops available. My gaming rig was on its way out, with an outdated i5 processor, GTX 1060 graphics card (which I paid too much for used on eBay) and 16GB of RAM, so my partner and I discussed what our next PC purchase would be. After much research, I found that the Acer Helios 300 provided a decent integrated graphics card (3060) that could play older AAA titles on Ultra, and newer ones on either High or Medium with little overclocking using stock settings most of the time. Most recently I played the Diablo IV Beta & the Resident Evil 4 remake on High settings, and it looked great on the 1920x1080 screen. On occasion I do plug it into my 4K LG Monitor, or the 4K TV in the family room via HDMI port or Mini Display Port (and doing so increasing the screen resolution to 3840x2160). At this point, its when the overclocking tool(s) become most advantageous. Yes, the fans are a bit loud, but that's normal for these devices. To combat this I pair either my Apple Airpods Max via BT or my Razer THX headset when gaming on the TV. I also use a cooling mat that has a couple fans on the bottom that help dissipate heat.I've also been using this laptop for school work which it does in a flash on anything Office 365. Webcam and built-in mic are more than enough for Zoom calls and proctored exams. This thing is overkill for school work. (Which is just an added bonus.)I've also done a bit of video editing using Adobe Premiere and it renders video files much quicker than my old PC. I'm not much of a content creator, but I imagine this computer would be great for extensive 4K video or other more complex projects. Finally, this machine has several options for expand-ability and future-proofing. Since purchasing it, I have upgraded the RAM to 32GB and have installed a second SSD drive (using the included adapter that came in the box). And I'm happy knowing that there is an empty M.2 slot available when I decide to install a third hard drive for when I need to.I have no qualms about the price, and believe it was more than fair for what's available on the market today. It's a solid mid-tier gaming laptop that's more than capable with keeping up with newer titles. With chip shortages, supply chain issues, not to mention the folks who do bitcoin mining grabbing up all the graphics cards, which in turn jack up prices to insane amounts, it was a no-brainer to replace my aging gaming rig with this laptop instead of holding out hope for a better graphics card in the future.
Excellent PC overall, gaming included. Nothing much to say, really. My main purpose reviewing is telling you about the gotchas in video for this PC. Overall, though, it is absolutely excellent. It is utra quiet even with the fans running at high speed. It does get hot, but no performance issues. What I learned about video setup: There are three display ports in this PC:1. Mini DisplayPort v1.4.2. HDMI port v2.1.3. Thunderbolt port v4 (USB-C).All display ports are capable of 4K @60Hz at least. I run my PC connected to 2 LG UltraFine 31.5in monitors at that resolution and refresh rate. However, the DisplayPort function embedded in the Thunderbolt v4 port is run by the integrated Intel HD graphics card, NOT the nVidia RTX3060 card. This is VERY IMPORTANT for gaming: The Intel integrated graphics card will NOT support DirectX 12 Ultimate. On the other hand, displays connected through ports 1 or 2 above will be un by the nVidia RTX3060 card that does support DirectX 12 Ultimate. The difference is night and day. True, I am not loading the most hardcore games ever, but still. So you get a frame of reference, my main 2 games are Age of Empires II DE and Age of Empires IV. I run both in full desktop mode, meaning the 2 monitors treated as one big monitor. AoE II DE reports consistent FPS of 60 (I have V-Sync on, which limits FPS to that of the monitor's refresh rate) with all graphics settings on. AoE IV does not seem to have a way to show the FPS, but it does run super smoothly. So there. Enjoy this super high end PC at a super low price. Oh, and you MUST use quality 8K-graded cables. FYI, the HDMI cables that shipped with my LG monitors are garbage. Get Vanky or some other reputable 8K cables.
This laptop looks great, the light up emblem on the lid is a nice touch, I got it on sale so it was certainly worth the money. it's more than fast enough for what I need it for.
Good laptop, but the seller doesn’t sent invoice, doesn’t answer his customers.
Bought this for gaming. A bit expensive, but not compared to competition, and I wanted something that I would enjoy using for several years. This laptop meets my needs and I've enjoyed the gaming experience since it arrived. Very pleased with this purchase .. and it arrived ahead or schedule!

Extremely FAST and POWERFUL! Absolutely worth it. First off, this laptop is a BEAST! I don’t normally post reviews, but I wanted others to know that it’s absolutely worth every dollar. It’s extremely fast. Like, multi tasking is so easy; even while gaming! I can run ultra/epic on literally any game that I throw at it, and the graphics are PHENOMENAL. It beats my PS5. There’s much more precision and depth. It completely blew me away and it’s pretty quiet too. In comparison it’s probably just as loud as a ps5, which isn’t very loud at all. I do use a cooling pad to help maintain the temp, but I haven’t had any spikes. It’s very consistent, which I like! The audio is phenomenal. It’s very immersive. You can easily tell if someone’s behind you in a game. Like, it’s very impressive.MSI did a great job with this set up. I’ll give it a 9 out of 10. Just because no laptop is perfect, but there’s a couple of things they could improve. I wish the quality of the cam/microphone was better. Although, it’s not really needed with a gaming laptop because you’ll most likely use a headset or separate microphone. I wish the quality of the keyboard was a little more sturdy if that makes sense. It might just be me, because I’ve used a lot of mechanical keyboards for gaming, and it just feels a little odd to me.Worth it though! You guys gotta get your hands on one 😁Update: I just upgraded the ram to 32gb and added 2tb of 2.5” SSD. This thing was fast before but now it’s insanely fast 💨 I highly recommend and it’s super easy to do.
Works Great. This is a great gaming laptop. It works fast and the graphics are clear and rich.My son absolutely loves it. Worth the cost.
Handles Well. Low Build Quality. Summary: December 2023 best laptop for computing power under a thousand dollars. Handles CAD work and Gaming easily. The build quality of the device is somewhat lacking in quality.First the Pros:1. I purchased this computer when my last Alienware went out as a more affordable alternative for higher-than-average computing power and mobility.I mainly use the device for 3d rendering tools like SolidWorks and TinkerCAD along with some light gaming. The device handles these with ease. Storage not being at least 1tb in 2023-2024 seems insane but I can use an external storage device to meet my needs (wish I didn't have to).2. For the price I believe this could be the best on the market for December 2023. Competitors in the price range do not carry Intel processors or have Intel processors older than 2022.Cons:The only real cons I have are build quality.1. Feels like if you were to press the power button hard it would invert on itself and break2. The mouse pad is not super reactive for clicking and sometimes have to physically push down on the pad instead of tapping the pad.3. Traditionally you see power plugs on the back or at least the back corner of laptops. This laptop has a power cable in the middle of the device along the left side. Makes using accessories and having a clean desk harder.MSI Thin GF63 15.6" 144Hz Gaming Laptop: 12th Gen Intel Core i7, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050, 16GB DDR4, 512GB NVMe SSD, Type-C, Cooler Boost 5, Win11 Home: Black 12VE-066US
My best purchase of 2021. I'm a huge fan of MSI. This notebook is probably the best purchase I made late last year. The performance isn't bad whatsoever. Playing games like Rogue Company, Destiny 2 Rainbow Six Siege at over 100 to 200 fps makes it a better option than that of most home console. But at 1080p at high or medium settings of course. Some cons that I have to address though. 1. The battery dies fast even while playing small, less demanding games and can clock in at less than 2 hours before needing a charge again. 2. Unplugging the notebook from the power cable can cut performance in half or more. 3. Not much USB connectors so you're limited to what you can use unless you shell out for a usb hub. It's worth IMO. 4. Storage is murder if you want to install some if the best AAA games since it in only has 512gb out of the box plus the 16gb Ram is enough for gaming but editing needs more though. The best solution is upgrading to more storage and adding more ram once you feel you really need it. Check YouTube for any good tutorial videos once ready for upgrade. Finally 5. Temperature and noise levels. This notebook can get exceedingly hot and loud during sessions, I use a Tecknet cooler to help but it just manages to keep it a better temperature than reliying on the notebooks loud fans. Using headphones is only way bypass this annoyance, cause the "jet engine" like sound will put you off in just about an hour. Even with all these cons, I can't recommend this laptop enough. The performance is just too good and it's probably the best way to enter pc gaming at a decent price due to the ongoing GPU drought thanks to the chip shortage.
Ok, why is this as cheap as it is. Been using this for a few months now and I'm trying to figure out how this thing has a 4090 and a really good processor, yet is priced this cheap. Its superb for gaming.A few things to note:- This doesn't come with a built in HDD (the system drive is a 512gb model), but it has an SATA space for a drive about 2tb is size or smaller. A 5tb internal won't fit.- Removing the case can be tricky in this model, but not impossible. Namely remove all three sides that are NOT where the audio jacks are first, then remove that side. Otherwise you risk breaking the internal components. Might want to look up a video to be safe on this one.- RAM can be changed out, as usual for laptops.
Best present ever. This is a great system. It hasn’t coked breakfast yet, but I know it will one day. It is amazing and I Am very happy with it. It was.really quick delivery, too. Who would have.ever thought you could have a system like this in your own living room….
Good Gaming Laptop. I bought this as a gift for my cousin it works well and can handle most games. It does get pretty hot but that's expected for a gaming laptop, but I think the cooling system could've been designed better to allow more air flow.

Excellent Deal! Great Gaming Laptop. I wanted to buy another laptop for work purposes but also be useful for travelling and for gaming so I saw this laptop for sale during Black Friday! Excellent purchase! Here is my pros and cons after a week of owning this:Con:1. 1920 x 1200 FHD 165Hz Display is very much an downgrade against my Legion 5 Pro 16" 2560 x 1600 IPS LCD 165Hz Display... But I guess with the parts offered, ASUS had to make some budget cuts somewhere I guess... (for the model I've chosen and not wanting to spend more than $1500 USD).2. Automatic MUX Switching is annoying... it optimizes which option to best suit for your current usage at the time (e.g. if you ran an game vs closing the game and brings you to the desktop). The automatic switch seems like its great and all but it ruins the display setting and when an game is playing, it switches again and sends you back to the desktop and ruins the display setting/resolution once more... Its best to just set it on the dedicated GPU option so you dont have to deal with this...3. Standard SSD Capacity is too low (again with cost saving measures but literally everyone these days just buy additional SSD stick anyways)... so snagged an SK.Hynix P41 SSD 2TB stick on sale to manually install for loading heavy application and games on there; really easy to install and easy to unscrew the back; there is an empty NVMe Gen4 M.2 2280 slot for you to install your SSDWorks Great after installing correctly and no Issues now! (make sure after install of SSD, just load into Windows and open up disk management to reformat (quick format! never full on SSD!) No need to tinker with BIOS setting...Do not tighten the SSD screws too much where the stick bends! thats incorrect! screw in ever so slightly so that the stick itself wont lodge out or move at all.Pros:1. RTX 4060 8GB - 140W Max TGP2. i7-13650HX - beats my Ryzen-7 5800H on my Legion 5 Pro3. RGB bar looks awesome!4. Battery 90WhNeutral:1. RGB Keys - heard mixed reviews on ASUS's design on this; of course, the Legion 5 RGB keyboard design is the best of the best but this is just okay and its not too bad in my eyes.2. Same weight and nearly the same dimensions as my Legion 5 Pro so portability is the same-ish but way better than my old MSI gaming laptop from 2017 where you can put this in your backpack and still have room to put other accessories and such. This is all I've noticed currently but either way, its a great mid-tier gaming laptop! I can run cyberpunk all max setting without issues or framerate drops and every other AAA game titles up to this point... This laptop should last an long time until AAA games becomes more graphically intense and requiring more processing power... but again this is the best you can get for your money and highly recommend!
Awesome laptop. Minus one star because it was stuck in this shipping loop for like 2 1/2 weeks and I was getting no response as the status. Delivery date was moved further and further back.Anyways, I'm a 3D artist and do lots of rendering and processing as well as play games, and this computer works awesome. It's fast and responsive. Beautiful display and rgb colors. I have had no issues and use it daily. Power cord input is in a strange spot, but no complaints otherwise.
Can't see the keys. It was fast and ran stuff like Star Field on max at 35-40 fps. Ran everything I threw at it and even connected with the Meta Quest 2 for some cool VR stuff. The bad was that I returned it for 2 reasons. It ran very very hot! Maybe something was defective on mine because even with the fans on JET Engine manual mode the processor was still reaching dangerous levels. You also don't want this laptop on you lap guys if you ever want kids. The other issue was the keyboard. While it was really cool and blinky colors, you can't see the letters on the keys. The light basically bleeds through the entire key not just the letters. Not a issue for the people that don't need to see them, but at night I had to use a external keyboard. My issue with the processor heat may be within "spec" but I know heat kills electronics and the more heat, the lower the life cycle. Like I said... it was blazing fast and never melted down but I would strongly suggest a cooling pad.
From Good to Terrible. I received the laptop around january and all was going well, i loved the laptop. There were minor bugs but nothing worth wanting to return the laptop. I downloaded Nvidia Control Panel to customize the integrated settings the computer has set automatically. The laptop for its specs was running poorly to the point i had to set all settings to performance and even then it didn’t feel like a 4060. The laptop’s performance varied from day to day and i scoured the internet to find out why. When the laptops return date closed the laptop started performing horribly. I’m talking random spikes of fps from 300 to 60 to 40. Constant stuttering and the wifi getting worse. The laptop is fine for anything but gaming and i feel that’s pretty ironic. I did buy it for gaming hence it is a gaming laptop. I’m trying to figure out what i can do to get another of the same model because this model gave out on me and this was NOT advertised in any video i watched regarding the laptop or reviews i’ve seen. I expected to get the best i mean 4060 13th Gen i7-13650HX… 16 GB of ram there is no excuses for bad performance. I honestly want to hope i just got a bad model because i spend a lot of money just for this to be a great laptop to a disappointing one. I also payed 200$ for a 4 year warranty but the company is making it really hard for me to contact them.
SSD capacity is a little, I used it for CAD drawings

High-Performance Gaming and Productivity Powerhouse. Hey everyone! Just wanted to share my awesome experience with the HP Victus 15 Gaming Laptop. This little beast has totally changed my gaming and work routine for the better. First off, the screen - oh boy, the 15.6" FHD with 144Hz is just gorgeous. Whether I'm gaming or binge-watching, everything looks super smooth and vivid.Let's talk about speed - the AMD Ryzen 5 and a whopping 32GB DDR5 RAM make everything incredibly snappy. From heavy-duty gaming to juggling between loads of tabs and apps, it hasn't missed a beat. And storage? 2TB is more than I could ask for. All my games, photos, and videos fit in with tons of room to spare.Graphics are key, right? The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 on this laptop doesn't just play games; it brings them to life. I've been playing some of the latest titles and the graphics are just stunning, running super smooth.I'm also loving the sleek silver look of this laptop. It’s not just a gaming machine; it looks totally professional for my work meetings too. The backlit keyboard is a nice touch – super helpful for late-night gaming sessions.Connectivity is super easy with HDMI and the latest Wi-Fi 6 – I'm always connected and in the game. The webcam is pretty decent for my Zoom calls, and the sound is just what you need for an immersive experience.Windows 11 Home ties everything together nicely, making it all easy to use. Battery life is pretty good for a gaming laptop, and it stays cool even when I'm pushing it hard. So, in a nutshell, the HP Victus 15 is my new favorite for gaming, work, and everything in between. It's a great deal for what you get, and I'd totally recommend it to anyone who's looking for a solid gaming laptop that can do it all.
Decent gaming computer if you don’t mind playing on low. Got this for some gaming on the go, works decent when running newer games on low, I’m playing hell divers 2 on low( not lowest) and get 55 fps, pretty smooth game play. Helps to get a cooling stand to get better airflow. Power brick gets very hot but no issues so far. Runs destiny 2 great, napoleon total war runs great, war of rights runs good on low, bmgdrive runs good on med, call of duty runs good on low, halo mcc runs good.
Fast and reliable. Computer shipped quickly. When it showed up it worked perfect without issue. Set up was easy and computer is still working great. Also saved a lot of money! 5 stars all around!
Mine Muist Be Defective. I recently purchased the HP Victus 15 Gaming Laptop with high hopes for a seamless computing experience, given its impressive specifications. However, my overall satisfaction has been marred by several persistent issues that have significantly hindered its performance and usability.Battery Life: ★☆☆☆☆One of the most disappointing aspects of this laptop is its abysmal battery life. With only 2.5 hours of work time, it falls significantly short of the expectations set by other laptops in its class. This limitation severely restricts its portability and usability on-the-go.Fan Noise: ★☆☆☆☆A constant, annoying whistle from the fan has become a persistent companion during my usage. This distracting noise undermines the immersive experience promised by a gaming laptop and has a noticeable impact on the overall user experience.Performance Woes: ★☆☆☆☆Despite boasting impressive specs, the laptop's performance has been subpar, evident in benchmark scores that lag far behind comparable models. The Geekbench results (Single-Core Score = 946, Multi-Core Score = 4843) are considerably lower than expected, raising concerns about the laptop's overall capability and potential defects.Trackpad Issues: ★☆☆☆☆The trackpad periodically stops working, adding an unnecessary layer of frustration to my computing tasks. This recurring problem disrupts workflow and detracts from the laptop's reliability.Keyboard Backlight: ★☆☆☆☆A surprising limitation is the inability to dim the keyboard backlight. This oversight affects the laptop's adaptability to different lighting conditions and limits user customization options.Gaming vs. Real-world Performance: ★☆☆☆☆Despite being marketed as a gaming laptop, the HP Victus 15 struggles even in non-intensive tasks such as programming with a text editor. This underperformance raises questions about the laptop's optimization for various usage scenarios.Eye-Straining Display: ★☆☆☆☆While the screen boasts brightness, it paradoxically causes eye strain even when dimmed. This issue is perplexing and significantly impacts the laptop's suitability for prolonged use, especially for tasks that require extended screen time.In conclusion, my experience with the HP Victus 15 Gaming Laptop has been far from satisfactory. Given the notable disparities in performance compared to other laptops with similar specifications, I suspect that my unit may be defective. I am currently exploring avenues to resolve these issues and hope to find a solution promptly. If you are considering purchasing the HP Victus 15, I recommend exercising caution and thoroughly testing the unit to ensure it meets your expectations.
love this computer. fast shipping, well made, best laptop i have ever had. the screen colors are very saturated. love it
Good for the price. I use this laptop for school and some gaming. It runs smoothly for what it is. I wouldnt expect top specs for everything, but it does exactly what I need. Running MySQL for school and Warframe for gaming it does both really well. The screen is a little small since I am use to a bigger monitor from work, but I think it is a pretty handy machine. I do recommend getting rid of the game hub that comes on it if you get it. It gets really old really quickly, but if you just uninstall it first unless you plan on using it you should be fine.
HP Victus 15 Gaming Laptop, 15.6" FHD 144Hz Display. This is a beast so far very happy with it. The 2 terabytes SSD drive and 64 gig of ram will do all I need and them some. Solid laptop for the money and I've always purchased Asus gamers. Only flaw this has is the fan whistles and is very annoying if I'm working a spread sheet or PDF. If they come out with a fix that is self install. I'll be very impressed with this.
Buy it. This is the second one of these I have bought and they are great. For what my kids used them for they are fast, great displays and no lagging.

An excellent gaming laptop for the price. I purchased this laptop to replace my 2021 ASUS ROG Strix G15 gaming laptop, and I am not disappointed.Pros:- Not too heavy. Definitely lighter than the ASUS!- Not as loud as my ASUS when the fan kicks on- For the price, it is pretty snappy! I got 1TB of SSD space, and 16GB RAM, and so far, I've played games like Starfield at high or higher settings.- The Gaming Mode is intelligent enough to clock down when the laptop is under light load, and clock up when a game starts, which is niceCons:- The battery life sucks. I expected that, so I'm not upset about it. Kinda par for the course for gaming laptops- The screen is 1080p. It looks fine, not the nicest I've seen, but it is decent and has a good refresh rate, so it isn't a *big* deal.- The fan does get loud when playing game. Once again, I kind of expected that.- When playing a game, and the fan spins up, the left side of the laptop gets pretty warm, so watch your hand!Overall I am very pleased with this purchase!
Desktop performance in a laptop. I bought the Katana 15 B13V with 16 GB of DDR5 Ram, RTX 4070 gpu, and i7-13620H cpu on Prime Day marked down to $1349 from $1599.I primarily bought this because my desktop's motherboard uses DDR4 and is becoming dated and I wanted to play Baldur's Gate 3 at max settings. I'd like to build another desktop, but want to drop that kind of money until DDR6 is a thing instead of building it in the middle of the DDR5 Lifecycle. That's still a few years out.So this was a great purchase for my needs. It is literally desktop performance in a laptop at a mid-range price.Let's start with the cons and why I don't careThe display isn't the best. Don't get me wrong, its great, but not anything special. That doesn't bother me, because its connected to my 4k monitor. Who cares about laptop screens anyway. 4k resolution doesn't make much of a functional difference on a small screen. Costs were cut there for sure. Costs were probably also cut on the battery. It doesn't last long not plugged in on normal loads, and its probably not even feasible to use it unplugged while gaming. This would suck if I planned to use it unplugged, but again, this matters not to me. There is also a technology implemented called CoolerBoost 5. Its pretty necessary to run when gaming newer games at max settings. It gets PlayStation loud. If you're an audiophile, then you're going to need some good noise-canceling headphones to really enjoy anything on this machine. This doesn't bother me, because I'm not an audiophile, and even if I was, I have a couple great sets of noise-canceling headphones. It also doesn't bother me because without it, all of the great things about this thing wouldn't mean squat.... let me explain...Now for the Pro'sThis thing runs great without load on balanced power settings (No CoolerBoost). Without CoolerBoost, its about as quiet as it comes. I only use it for browsing and playing music outside of gaming. It does great. I haven't tried watching any 4k videos on it yet, but I imagine it would handle that well on balanced power settings as well.Remember when I mentioned the noise level from the CoolerBoost 5 as a con. Well, Coolerboost is probably just as important of a feature as any of the hardware this machine packs. Gaming laptops get a bad rep, mostly because they literally burn up a lot faster than a desktop and are difficult and expensive to fix when they do. The reason being is inadequate cooling. This is a tiny box to fit all of those extreme heat producing components in. Getting desktop-like cpu temps and gpu temps in a laptop should be a pipedream. Seeing temps in the 85-90 degree Celsius range or higher is just part of the territory. With CoolerBoost on, this thing hangs in the 60-75 degree range with BG3 running max settings. That's as good or better than my desktop. Have you heard of temp-throttling? Yeah, that's only a thing if you let it be a thing with this machine. That said, without CoolerBoost active while running BG3 at max settings, I watch those temps move to the Upper 80s and low 90s, like one would expect with this kind of hardware in such a small box. It is well worth the noise to have a machine packing an i7 13th gen chip and RTX 4070 gpu that can sport desktop temps while actually using the hardware at its potential.Final ThoughtsThis machine is fantastic if you're looking to replace a desktop with a laptop that will likely last. All of the right corners have been cut. Due to the temps sitting at desktop level, I anticipate the hardware components to potentially last indefinitely. This will still be a very serviceable and more portable machine when I do get my desktop built. The potential issues I see are needing to replace fans at some point due to the CoolerBoost. They could also last too, its just a possible logical consequence of running the fans at high RPMS. I imagine the most important fix that I'll run across is replacing the battery. Those things will always go bad eventually, but more quickly if there are periods of high humidity in your gaming area. Think about spring or fall days where the AC isn't running. Years of that will kill a battery.
Nice gaming laptop. Gift for my son for Christmas and he is loving it. It handles every game he plays very well, at very high frame rates and high setting. He has it connected to a 32” curved 1080p monitor and in most games he is getting 200-250 fps. The fan can get a bit loud when running the video heavy games but he uses headphones most of the time so the loud fan noise isn’t an issue. The screen on the laptop is also pretty good for when he takes the laptop to friends to play. SDD is fine only the RAM we may need to upgrade in the near future. But all in all a very solid gaming laptop.
Great Value Just Know What You're Getting. I have now had this laptop for four days over the weekend, and my initial impressions are as follows:Great processor and gpu for the price point, especially if bought on sale. I purchased mine on Prime Day one. I think it was $300 off which was a great deal. Then Prime Day two rolls around and its another $100 off. Slight issue with Amazon because they won't just match the price. At first I tried to cancel the order and wasn't able to so I contacted customer service and they tried to cancel it and told me they couldn't. Since they don't price match, I was suppose to order another one for the cheaper price and return the first order. Kind of a hassle, but saving another $100 was worth it. I guess I got lucky because I got an email a couple hours later saying the original order was successfully cancelled. As far as the laptop itself, I played with it over the weekend and it runs great. High end processor (i-7 13620H) and graphics card (RTX 4070) are the selling points. No much else with that combo for under $1600.The size and weight of the system are pretty good. My last laptop was an Alienware 15, which was bulky and heavy. This is much lighter and has a pretty subtle chassis which is exactly what I wanted. The RGB keyboard is pretty standard, it felt a bit small at first but I'm sure it will just take some getting used to. I haven't played with the customizable colors yet but the function keys allow it to be brightened, dimmed or turned off and on.The screen (15.6 FHD 1,920 x 1,080 pixels) is adequate, just know what you're getting. 1080p is FHD (full high definition). That is most likely why it's price point is less than some other laptops with higher end resolutions like QHD or 4k. That being said, on a smaller 15" screen FHD still looks great. The refresh rate is fast (144Hz) and I ran well above 60fps on max settings flawlessly on CP2077.SSD size (1TB) is pretty standard, it is gen4, currently gen5 is the fastest, but gen4 is plenty fast enough. One issue people are having is the second ssd slot does not come with a mounting bracket or screw to hold it down. I knew of this issue before purchasing and I am planning on installing a second ssd (also ordered on Prime day for big discount). I contacted MSI thru live chat and they are sending me the mounting bracket. The whole process took less than 10 min. Minor irritation but not a big issue.RAM is good (16gb), I plan to upgrade to 32gb soon when the bracket arrives and I am installing the second ssd. I didn't put too much stress on the system while playing it over the weekend but it held decently with only the 16gb of RAM.The major issue I have with this laptop is the battery life, It is absolutely horrendous. I started my gaming session (Diablo4) at 100% and after an hour I was down to 32%, and D4 isn't the most system demanding game. So maybe get an hour and half of straight gaming out of it unplugged. This is the only reason it didn't get 5 stars.Overall, at this price point, (especially if you can find it on sale and stay plugged in) it is well worth it. After upgrading the RAM and installing a second SSD (both less than $100 each) any comparable system would be well over $2k.Update: Received mounting bracket for SSD within a week of contacting MSI customer support. Quick and easy install of SSD and RAM. Battery life still sucks and is only down point of this laptop. If it got 2+ hours of gaming battery life it would be an easy 5 stars.
Me llego antes y todo empaquetado ,me a gustado mucho.

Powerful performance and stunning looks. I was very excited the moment I received the product. First of all, I was deeply surprised by the appearance of this notebook. I do a lot of things with it. Its very fast and efficient. I use it for videoediting and it renders videos very fast. Then I experienced my favorite big game. It runs perfectly, the smoothness is very good, and the visual effect is also very silky. It is no exaggeration to say that the RTX4070 graphics card is enough to run all current games, This computer totally exceeded my expectations, Highly recommended.
Really happy with my new Asus Rog Strix G731. I have had a 17" Asus Laptop for 6 years and finally decided it was time for an upgrade. My old Q500A is still going but much slower these days. From opening the box and first seeing the new laptop I was really impressed. The design is sharp and on point and the keys are smooth and very responsive. It is bigger than I expected even with a 17" screen and graphics card is night and day to my old machine, so clear and sharp. I will be using for work but wanted the highest spec for my money and this has delivered. It was voice guided to set up and thanks to my external hard drive and using Microsoft to recall all my information, setting it up was easy! I am looking forward to another 6 years of trouble free use and couldn't be happier with both my new laptop and ASUS in general.
Great laptop. Serviceable gaming laptop. First things first, I'm going to start on a negative note but having buyers remorse is a negative feeling. The thing I am most bummed with is the display. A quote from the amazon listing. "A 144Hz high-refresh display enhances both gameplay and daily projects with smooth, responsive, and crisp images. Slim bezels and an expansive 79.6% screen-to-body ratio deepens immersion and keeps you locked in." This statement is a very true one, the downside is that neither the 15.6 or 17.3 models have a 144hz display. They both feature 60hz displays. So right off the bat, at best, you will be able to achieve 60fps. I don't know about you, but when I think gaming on PC i think high frame rates (higher than 60). I don't see a clear "this PC comes with a 60hz display anywhere". The 144hz quote above is the only mention of the display I see, and that I feel is misleading. Games do look good, just don't get your hopes up for high frames per second. The graphics card is also known to be one that doesn't get the same results in terms of frames per second when compared to similar cards. Yes a USB type C port is shown in the gallery of pictures, and is mentioned in part of the description, no there isn't one on the laptop I received. The biggest upside is the SSD. This laptop is speedy and responsive. The limited bloatware is a huge plus in my book. Setup was extremely easy and took less that 15 minutes. Needed about 12-20 updates, but that's expected.I'd say in terms of system power and the ability to play games at 30-60 fps (at best) this laptop is probably priced about right. However for me personally, I wish I would of payed more and got one that is actually at least 144hz, and a better graphics card as the 1650 isn't up to par with similar products.
Best gaming laptop for a even better price. I purchased this for my son and is an excellent gaming laptop. Asus is a great company with many hard to beat products. Plenty of power. Great condition and great price. Seller was fast shipping to me.
Solid Gaming Notebook. My wife and I have ASUS RogueStrix notebooks and wanted something a little more "Tuf" for the kids. So far these have been great and hold up the their name. Power is decent enough to play most current games. No ray-tracing means the price is right if you don't need the latest and greatest.Pro: Backlit Keyboard, solid performance, well built, crisp display.Cons: Power adapter gets HOT (be careful), Battery life is decent if you are just browsing the web but we find you must remain plugged in to get full performance when gaming.
Wifi stopped working. After a couple months, the Wifi stopped working. It connects, then disconnects. Updated drivers, uninstalled, re-installed, called support. Nothing is working. I had to buy a USB wifi device so I can use the laptop again.
Good computer, good price. Great value for money. Runs games like Civ VI and Skyrim with zero issues or slow down.
Happy With Purchase. After going through tons of other systems to ensure that our son gets the best deal possible we settled on this system. So far he is very pleased with it and believes that it performs as advertised. Its fast, handles games so far very well. Graphics are crisp. The Edge to edge viewing of the screen is impressive. The various backlights of the keyboard are delightful.
I use it as a general purpose workstation and funstation. Light editing, audio recording, web surfing, etc. Works fast, screen looks great, keyboard types smooth. Very happy!

The MacBook Pro of PC Gaming Laptops. I just bought my 2nd one of this 3080 ti laptop. The first one we purchased 6 months ago for my wife, and has performed amazingly over that period. I previously had a 2019 model that I passed down to my teenage son who games constantly on it to this day with 4 years of amazing performance. I’ve owned MSI, ASUS. Dell/Alienware, and this is by far the highest quality of the bunch equaling the MacBooks I’ve owned for work in design, heat performance and build quality.Pros:-Very high quality aluminum case. This is not your run of the mill plastic gaming laptop. Wouldn’t look out of place in a conference room, almost looks like a black MacBook Pro with zero logos/lettering other than the Razer trademark.-Even playing fairly demanding games, the fans barely come on, and when they do, they are far quieter than my MSI.-Screen is phenomenal for seeing dark areas and great colors/viewing angles.-3080 ti graphics with 16gb of on board video ram, +32gb of ram future proof this machine significantly. The laptop this machine replaced had a first gen 8gb 3080 and this card destroys it.-Wi-Fi seems to be extremely fast, much faster than the laptop I replaced it with.Cons:-Screen is gorgeous, with great viewing angles, dark contrast, and amazing colors, but could have slightly better overall brightness. Almost reminds me of a OLED TV.-Price, but you’re paying for a premium product and one that I’ve found after 4+ years of owning Razer laptops, is well worth it. I will continue to give Razer my money if they keep this level of performance/quality up, and I was able to buy it significantly on sale ships/sold from Amazon LLC.
The screen is everything. I'm an Apple user, PC laptops are bad. I had been maintaining a top end MBP for playing Windows games -- but that machine entered a deep discharge state and if I'm honest, was never an appropriate gaming laptop (because in their own way, Apple laptops are also bad).I looked at most of the machines on the market and yikes -- the quality is garbage. Bad form factor, bad materials, more time spent making everything into a gimmicky black plastic rainbow than making a usable and attractive tool.Razer does a pretty good job here though. The industrial design and build quality are about 80% of what I'd expect, the keyboard is very good, the power supply is goo. The trackpad is pretty much shit compared to an Apple trackpad but way better than most. And there's no bloatware. Razer Synapse is even pretty good.I read that the 17" Razers have better thermal management and it means they get 10% better performance than the 15" with the same hardware. I also agonized over the fact that this laptop can't do 4k.In the end, I decided it was more important to me to power a great screen well than a bad screen poorly. And I made the right decision, this thing looks great. Plays movies great too. This is by no means a top end gaming laptop. But it gets 60 fps in Cyberpunk at 1444 in Ultra (when plugged in), and that's what I wanted. Can even enable ray traced reflections if I don't mind trading off something else.I have experienced some games (Overwatch, so no big loss there) don't like to run full screen on this thing, but they'll run fine inside a full screen window instead.
Good shipping to door. All in good quality and delivered right at doorstep
Way too much money for a lemon. I purchased this laptop because I'm a menace to myself and consistently will seek out my best option, regardless of price, when I'm looking to upgrade. Many reviews called the Blade 15 the best Gaming Laptop out there and I wanted a top of the line that wasn't going to financially cripple me. I had never owned a Razer product but most of their hardware was given positive feedback so I was comfortable giving them a shot. Initially, I was very pleased with the laptop and thoroughly enjoyed the gaming experience it offered. However, a little over a month into use, I turned it on one day to discover I had no audio from my speakers. A minor inconvenience but what followed was the single worst Customer Service experience I have ever been a part of.Communicating with Razer support is a nightmare. They offer a live chat service but with laptops they have to quickly shelve you off to their "Laptop Specialists". This means any and all support you get is through email and a different person will respond to every single reply (half the time not reading what you've already done). After a week, of emails and troubleshooting they were finally willing to admit it had a hardware issue. However, lo and behold, the one I purchased off Amazon was actually done through a 3rd Party "Unauthorized Reseller." This meant even with only a months use, the laptop was not under warranty and I would have to pay over $100 for an RMA "Diagnostics Fee" and then any additional fees for parts and replacement. This seemed ridiculous for an issue that only affected the internal Speakers. So I turned to Amazon to reach out to the reseller to see if anything could be done. The reseller did not respond. So then I focused on Amazon to see if anything could be done. After about a week of trying to talk to anyone about just trying to get the problem fixed, I gave up and initiated a full refund.I cannot blame Razer for my entire experience but I can put the onus on them for having defunct Hardware and a miserable Support Service. I will be adamantly avoiding them at all costs in the future.
Runs as expected after almost a year. Battery life not so good, barely 2-3 hours of light use, gaming on battery no way. This baby needs to be plugged in for max performance.
Steller in both performance and build quality. No flex. Even more rigid than a MacBook. Stays cool while gaming too, never gets unbearably hot either.
Tal cual Lo anuncian llegó
Pretty good laptop, looks awesome and can play anything. The only downside is that it gets HOT... really hot to the touch when gaming. It's also quite expensive, but no other laptop looks this good besides a mac.
