SAMSUNG 65-Inch Class Neo QLED 4K QN90B Series Mini LED Quantum HDR 32x, Dolby Atmos, Object Tracking Sound+, Anti-Glare, Ultra Viewing Angle, Smart TV with Alexa Built-In (QN65QN90BAFXZA, 2022 Model)
Absolutely amazing TV especially when paired with high end surround sound. The media could not be loaded. I bought this TV last year for a great price (and it's even a little cheaper this year). I wanted to go with an OLED but the media player I use would have burned in the screen in no time. So I've been watching the Samsung's for a few years and after reading about this model decided it was time to pull the trigger.I had only had a 65" TV in the past and going to 85" is a massive upgrade, this TV is so huge. I had no issues with the remote or apps but I'm using an Nvidia shield for them now so I guess that's partly because I like their interfaces better. The main thing I wanted out of this TV was the super bright picture (my previous LG was terrible with it's handling of blacks and picture wasn't very bright)I've been re-watching many movies and recently paired this monster TV with a Nakamichi dragon 11.4.6 surround system. Now I have to re-watch them all again lolThe attached video and pic shows both systemsPros1) HUGE!!!2) super bright very realistic picture3) Great blacks4) I believe one of the best contrast ratios ever on any TV5) Smart TV has lots of apps and a simple remoteCons1) stupid rechargeable battery that forces you to leave the remote upside down under a light source2) You may find it hard to leave the house especially if you have surround sound as well3) It's over 100 lbs so heavy and pretty hard to setup by yourself
The best all around. If you’ve read reviews all over the net about this tv and compared it to others (like I did) you may be torn between a few contenders. Well, after months of debating I finally went ahead with the Qn90b- and I must say, I have no regrets. The brightness is almost blinding. This is a HUGE point on this tv- it makes the picture amazing. The blacks are beautiful. The colors all pop. It’s like an Oled only much much brighter and watchable in any environment. Sound is fairly impressive for a tv with such a thin format. I really enjoy the ease of the Samsung software also- very quick switching between apps. To adress the couple of downfalls- As far as the bad comments on the remote that I’ve read- I really enjoy the simplicity of it. Having roku tv and fire stick remotes it’s somewhat of a cross between both, and was very easy to get used to. The one thing that I will agree with is the prismatic reflection. I have a lamp on one of my coffee tables that I had to move- as the reflection from the lamp (when on) at night is noticeable in dark scenes. It’s not a big deal at all- but it is there. Don’t shine a light directly at it and it’s not a big deal lol. The tv is viewable almost flawlessly at any angle because of the layer that causes that to happen- and I’d gladly keep it the way it is (and move my lamp) than to loose that angle clarity. Overall very happy with the quality and the purchase
Hard to Beat. I purchased this TV to replace my 10 year old 55” LG LM7600 LCD TV. One month in and I am still impressed with the Samsung QN90B. While no TV is perfect in every area, this TV gets a lot of things right and has not disappointed or made me feel like I settled.I have a fairly bright room with three windows. The anti glare isn’t perfect but it does a reasonably good job with the reflections and the TV is bright enough to overcome most glare. The picture is big, bright and sharp. From an average user perspective, blooming isn’t noticeable during casual viewing. I mostly only notice it during the credits with white text on a black screen. People who like to get deep into the weeds will compare it to a OLED but I don’t see that as a fair comparison between two different types of screens with each having it’s strong points. The speakers in this TV will not win any awards, but they are not bad. If you compare them to a sound bar then you will be disappointed but they are adequate and at least as good as other TV’s in this price class. The Tizen OS is not great. It is not setup to provide a satisfying user experience but rather it is designed to generate AD revenue for Samsung. Fortunately, you can set the TV to Autorun the last app when the TV is turned on. I use the Apple TV 4k so whenever I turn on the TV it goes straight to my Apple TV instead of the Tizen interface. As far as settings go, once you become familiar with the menus it is fairly simple to find and change settings.Autorun SetupMenu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Start Screen Option > Autorun Smart Hub - Enabling Autorun Smart Hub automatically launches Smart Hub when the TV is turned on.Navigate to this option to enable or disable the feature - If Autorun Last App is set to on, the last used app is automatically run when you turn on the TV. You can turn this function on or off.SummaryI would highly recommend this TV to anyone who is in the market for a big bright TV with excellent image quality. I don’t watch live TV or sports but content from Netflix, HBOMAX, Apple TV+ and Prime Video is excellent on this TV.
SAMSUNG 65-Inch Class Neo QLED 4K QN90C Series Quantum HDR+, Dolby Atmos, Object Tracking Sound+, Anti-Glare, Gaming Hub, Q-Symphony, Smart TV with Alexa Built-in (QN65QN90C, 2023 Model)
Samsung QN50QN90C Review. After 12 years of faithful service, the decision was made to retire our Sony KDL-46HX850( 46-inch 1080p/240Hz) TV.Being one of the early "Smart" TV's on the market, it's limitations over the years became greater and greater, despite providing one of the best quality picture experiences ever, this includes, but is not limited to;Apps - It came with only a handful of Apps installed, like YouTube, Internet Browsing, and Netflix. Sadly this particular TV does not allow you to download or add additional ones. Nor have said Apps updated for at least 5 years. Netflix opens and works once in a while, usually requiring multiple restarts to load.Soundbar Issues - In late 2020 we added a 7.1 Nakamichi soundbar to our setup, after our previous Vizio 5.1 system we bought shortly after the TV died. However changing channels too quickly caused the station to lose sound, requiring a complete restart of the TV and Soundbar to allow sound to flow from the TV HDMI output.Tried using Roku, but again, it never worked properly on this particular TV. It was tested however in two different Samsung models; the 2014 UN65H7150 65-Inch 1080p 240Hz, and a 2019 QN82Q90RAFXZA 82-inch 4K 120Hz and it worked fine on those two TVs.So lets' get into the actual review for this model listed in the headline....PROS:First Impressions: Lightweight; weighs less than my 46-inch, although it doesn't have the gorilla glass my old one had. Thinner by about 3-5mm overall.Remote; approx half the size of my 2019 Samsung model with dramatic improvements - C type rechargeable port versus requiring regular batteries, and even has a photo-electric eye to allow sunlight recharging system on the back of the remote. Disney+ and Amazon Prime single app buttons added.Picture Quality; outstanding for obvious reasons; 1080p vs 4K; meaning twice as many lines of resolution. HDR which means greater color space, allowing for a wider range of colors to be displayed. Despite being only half of the frequency response of my previous set (120Hz vs 240Hz), I wanted to be sure this would not be a "noticeable" issue, so I tested this thoroughly out using movies from my personal collection that had heavy/intense action sequences, no ghosting or pixelation was detected.Sound Quality; Have never used just the standard included back-facing speakers, so I cannot comment, always have used Soundbars.Set-Up; Again this is such a breeze now compared to just a few short years ago, logging into Apps with QR codes on your phones versus typing everything out. From the time I had the unit on the wall and first powered up, until all software updates and Apps were added and logged into was less than 30 minutes. Added 6 different Apps that are used on daily basis in our household. This is now the 2nd Samsung Q90 model I've purchased in the last 4 years, and I believe they are worth every single penny. But to be fair.....I must point out the negatives.CONS:Viewing Distance - to gain the full 4K experience at my current TV size (50") I need to be no further than 6ft away, which means I need to be sitting towards the middle/end of my bed. Whereas with my old unit, thew viewing distance was nearly double, meaning I could be lying down normally and not notice a drop in picture quality.4K vs 1080p; when watching standard definition programming (480p), my old 1080p TV wins hands down, the additional upscaling done by 4K TV's makes to my eyes, the picture less enjoyable. It's just something I've gotten used to over the years. It stuck out heavily when I bought my first 4K, watching cable channels broadcasting in 480p resolution. Since most shows/movies cable and streaming services are at least HD quality, it still upscales, where again watching on a 1080p gave a better experience in my opinion.Sound; Let's be honest, all HDTV's have terrible or barely passing audio, since they are backward facing. You are better off buying an inexpensive forward facing soundbar versus using the included speakers only. If you can afford it (and have the space), buying a 5.1 or 7.1 soundbar system is the way to go.All three of my household TV's are Samsung models, although I have had quite a few Sony models in the past, reviews between brands when I am shopping for a replacement have been pushing me steadily towards Samsung. Two terrible experiences have permanently soured me ever buying LG ever again.
Great. I recently purchased the Samsung QN90CA and I have to say, I am extremely impressed with this TV. The picture quality is stunning and the colors are so vivid and lifelike. The screen is also incredibly bright, which really enhances the viewing experience. The sound quality is also top-notch, with clear and crisp audio that really immerses you in the content you're watching. The TV itself is also very sleek and modern-looking, with a slim design that fits perfectly in my living room. The setup process was also very easy and straightforward, with clear instructions and intuitive menus. Additionally, this TV has a lot of great features, such as voice control and built-in streaming apps, that make it even more convenient to use.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of the Samsung QN90CA. It delivers an amazing viewing experience with top-tier picture and sound quality, all wrapped up in a sleek and modern package. I highly recommend this TV to anyone in the market for a high-end television.
Wow. I love this TV I can speak into the control rather than type a request. The picture is amazing and for an old guy like me it’s actually simple to use. Honestly I should have bought one of these a long time ago. It is easy to set up easy to use and it’s got all the features I could possibly hope for. And if it last half as long as my other three Samsung TV’s I purchased 10 years ago I will be more than happy. I’ll add this, the only thing wrong with my three older sets from Samsung is they didn’t work with my new internet system and modem, the TV’s themselves still work perfectly. This is the kind of quality all products should strive for !
Great. The tv is great. We love our Samsung tv (past and present). Picture is beautiful. Not real happy with stand for this large of a TV. Should have supprt at both ends, not just center. A little pricey even on sale.
As advertised. As promised. Beautifully performing TV. Wish it came with a paper 'Getting Started' manual. I used Google and my cell phone to complete setup. I will update later on the Sound Bar.Update: Samsung Neo QLED QN90C. The resolution is beautiful and amazing compared to my former Samsung 1080P. However there are some frustrations, that had I have known, my purchase would have not been a sure thing.1. Samsung touts the level of black supported, unfortunately when a black(or darker) image is displayed there is often a loss of image detail.2. When a bright/white scene or image is displayed, it is very bright and impressive. However, most images displayed do not fit into that category and the overall image character or quality is darker than that of my former 1080P.3. The Samsung Sound Bar (HW-Q700C) included with the TV is not what I expected. At normal listening levels, such as TV programming, the system still has the muffled quality of my former TV. To enjoy high quality sound you must significantly raise the sound level or rotate the sound bar so that the up facing speakers face outward toward the audience. (My hearing has been tested as normal)
After careful research we picked this Samsung TV for our Christmas present to ourselves. My wife, who is a hard to please detail oriented person who tends to buy only the best (which is why she picked me, I jest) LOVES this TV. Our ten year old Samsung TV still works but the speaker on the old TV were getting very bad so we gifted it to the grandkids for their gaming. While the old Samsung TV gave faithful service it was one of the first "smart" TV's and this one is so much easier to use for wireless internet things like YouTube and etc. The picture is Excellent the built in speakers more than enough for our 14x18 living room and the picture is just so much better and that's saying a lot as the old Samsung was one of the best ones at the time. This one is Samsungs "second best" I believe and at the 55" size we use a great value for the money. It may be more expensive than many but it comes with impressive performance, a superior picture and great features.
SAMSUNG 85-Inch Class Neo QLED 4K QN85C Series Neo Quantum HDR, Dolby Atmos, Object Tracking Sound, Motion Xcelerator Turbo+, Gaming Hub, Smart TV with Alexa Built-in (QN85QN85C, 2023 Model)
Great TV. I couldn't be happier with my purchase of the SAMSUNG 85-Inch Class Neo QLED 4K QN85C TV! This television has truly exceeded all of my expectations, earning every one of its five stars.First and foremost, the setup process was an absolute breeze. From unboxing to getting it up and running, everything was straightforward and hassle-free. I was able to enjoy my new TV in no time, thanks to the user-friendly interface and clear instructions provided. But what truly sets this TV apart is its outstanding picture quality. The Neo QLED technology delivers stunning visuals with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and remarkable contrast. Whether I'm watching my favorite movies, sports events, or playing video games, the picture quality remains consistently excellent. The 4K resolution ensures that every detail is crisp and lifelike, making it feel like I'm right there in the action. The 85-inch screen size is perfect for creating a cinematic experience in my living room. It's like having my very own home theater! The immersive viewing experience is further enhanced by the TV's minimal bezels and sleek design, which adds a touch of elegance to my living space. The TV also comes with a variety of smart features and apps, making it incredibly versatile. I can easily stream my favorite content, control smart home devices, and access a world of entertainment at my fingertips. The remote control is intuitive and responsive, making navigation a breeze. In conclusion, the SAMSUNG 85-Inch Class Neo QLED 4K QN85C has transformed my home entertainment setup. It's the perfect combination of ease of use, outstanding picture quality, and smart functionality. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and I highly recommend this TV to anyone looking for a top-tier viewing experience. It's a five-star product through and through!
99% I was sent a brand new TV for the price of "like new". Coming from 32", 720p Samsung LCD from 2007 (which to Samsung's credit was still in perfect working order less one flaky HDMI port and a whining component), any cheap no-name UHD TV coupled with my already 4K capable Roku would have been a significant upgrade in every category except longevity, but I am extremely satisfied I picked this model, which sits at the lower end of Samsung's 2023 NeoQLED TV lineup. For the unacquainted, these are a step below the highest tier OLED panels, but a step up from the regular QLED and even cheaper yet Crystal UHD models you'd see at a big box store (which all still look great, modern TVs are overpowered). The image has a lot more contrast, less glare, and deeper blacks than my roommates 65" QLED model from a couple years ago.I really only stream these days, don't game, and don't even have a sound bar (I would recommend getting one, as the built in is tinny and doesn't project forward well), so most of the features and gimmicks are lost on me. I just wanted a bigger and sharper panel, and this one is incredible.Overall, I'm glad I went with a Samsung again. The remote is not intuitive whatsoever, the WiFi receiver isn't great, and Smart TV features and UI are a cluttered disaster that I would recommend replacing with a Roku, but to it's credit setup and control interaction with my Galaxy S23 was seamless, and performance of built in apps has been so good (one you get to them) that I haven't reconnected the Roku. Can't speak to Longevity, but Samsung TVs (at least the panels) have historically been rock solid. Build quality and materials on this lineup are incredible, the Smart features can easily be replaced with a newer Roku down the road, so I anticipate this will last a while.
Great choice. Immersive Entertainment Unleashed! The 85” Samsung TV is a visual masterpiece, boasting incredible picture quality and depth that elevates the viewing experience. The colors pop with vivid brilliance, and the details are razor-sharp on this expansive screen. The smart features are a game-changer, seamlessly integrating with Google Home for convenient control and a truly connected home theater experience. With a perfect blend of stunning visuals and intelligent functionality, this TV stands out as a top-tier choice for those who demand both style and substance in their entertainment setup.
Dang the best tv. Nothing to dislike. Color, sharpness and crystal clear. Screen jumps right out at you. Son in law set it up and said easy to do. Did have to use 2 controllers but I did already. No biggie. He did say it was sorta heavy. It's everything I wanted. I did do alot of research 1st and this had everything and cheaper. Only had it 2 days it I so love it already. Going to play a movie in a minute. Do your research but this is the best one with all bells and whistles.
Destroyed somewhere along the line. I realize that our experience with this TV is not Samsung's fault but buying a large device like this on Amazon, you have to take certain things into consideration, like the contractor they use who take absolutely no care in getting your item to you. I can't say where this thing was destroyed or when but something was clearly dropped on it. It was not visible at all until we tried to turn it on and saw this flash. It obviously doesn't work. It is heavy and now we have to get it back downstairs and rebox it for pickup. We ended up buying another, someplace else. Hopefully those people will handle it better. If our local big box store had it, I would of just said, heck with it and gone there. Edit: While reboxing it, I found a paper taped to the box from 1-2 months earlier where it had been delivered to someone halfway across the country from us and they refused it. I wonder why. The box looked like it had been bounced around in a truck months. We got our replacement from another source and had absolutely no issues.
SAMSUNG 75-Inch Class Neo QLED 4K QN85B Series Mini LED Quantum HDR 24x, Dolby Atmos, Object Tracking Sound, Motion Xcelerator Turbo+ Smart TV with Alexa Built-In (QN75QN85BAFXZA, 2022 Model)
Amazing picture. I have always been a Samsung guy and always buy Samsung products. This is my 2nd brand new Samsung TV in 2 years. I was skeptical at first because I originally bought a 55" QLED TV 2 December's ago, and that TV didn't even last a full year before acting up, which was very weird. Never had an issue before with Samsung products. So, I decided to upgrade tothe 60" NEO QLED SMART TV last December, and I must say, I am so freaking impressed with this TV! The new Neo Technology is a HUGEEE upgrade over the regular QLEDs. If you're coming from a standard HD TV that you picked up for couple hundred bucks, you are going to be blown away at the quality. This is the closest thing you will get to OLED picture quality. The colors are so bright, vibrant, eye-popping, and just breath taking. And the blacks are TRUE blacks with NO pixelation whatsoever! The TV has many great features, such as ambient lighting, many applications, built in voice AI of your choosing (Alexa or Google Assistant), like older models you get Samsung TV Plus for free with tons of channels, and screen saver mode, which you can add any picture you want. And while some people do not like the new interface, I think it's very simple, well organized, and easy to use. The remote controller is still slim, like last generations, but, it is a bit longer. It is still very, very easy to lose though, lol. If you're coming from a convential remote with numbers and tons of buttons, it may take a little time getting use to as there is no number buttons on remote at all. If trying to go to a specific channel, voice AI is fastest and best way to do it. Has built in Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney+ buttons for quick access. Fun fact! The new remote does NOT take any batteries whatsoever! It charges via solar lighting (sunlight) when remote is upside down! How cool is that?! No more worrying about batteries dying 👍Gaming experience on this TV is phenomenal, with built-in in surround sound. When you turn on a game system, the TV automatically switches to that input.1 con is the TV stand. It's super heavy, bulky, and kind of funky to install. Much prefer the legs like the last generations. I ended up putting mine on the wall, and like that, away goes the con.Overall, this is the best Samsung TV I've ever had hands down, and I'm just blown away with the picture quality. If you're like me and love watching your favorite TV series and movies in the absolute best quality, then I highly recommend this TV! You will not be disappointed! Enjoy 😊
Beautiful picture. Pretty good black-white resolution without being concerned with “burn in”. I am sure there are finer TVs out there if you are willing to spend.Samsung streams well.
Works perfectly. Not a big fan of the remote as you can tell. We bought a universal remote to use with the TV. The TV itself is excellent. As older people it was too difficult to use and manipulate the remote. I would definitely suggest a universal remote for use with the tv.
By far best TV I've had. Let me start by saying, Good LORD this tv ROCKS. I have never had a TV that was THIS high-def before. OLED produces a super crisp picture, even on older shows. It has a great refresh rate for video games. 4k movies look unbelievable. One of my favorite movies ever, How to Train Your Dragon, looks absolutely gorgeous.
Great TV, terrible remote. The TV itself works great and the picture is amazing. However the remote that came with the TV does not work and appears to be an issue with others based on reviews. It has a solar panel on the back for charging which makes no sense and doesn’t come with a charger. Tried charging with a USB C and that didn’t work either. Bought a cheap universal remote off of Amazon and works fine.
Tizen OS is trash and slow. YOU WILL HATE THIS TV. I have had this TV for about 100 days now and have used it mostly every day. I bought it for the "integrated" gaming functions, specs and bought as high-end as I thought was reasonable.1.) The Interface is *Painfully* slow. I don't know why this higher end model is SLOWER than my 5 year old economy Samsung. . .2.) 2022 they 'discontinued' Steam Link from their Tizen OS. My 2017 Samsung has *no* problems using steam link but apparently in 2021 they stopped supporting it. WTF? WHY? Get an Android TV if you want actual software support. Tizen is trash. LOVED that it was built on Linux but at this point it's a failure based on lack of support.3.) The integrated 'Gaming hub' is also super slow just like everything on this TV and it opens up ALL the time when I don't ask it to. You'd think, okay, maybe it's just user error and this guy is pressing some button he shouldn't be. Nope. I press the 'home' button and it does not take you to the main home menu where you can select inputs etc. . The UI/UX on this TV is the *Absolute* worst of any device I've interacted with this decade.4.) The glare is awful, do yourself a favor and get something with a matte screen unless you can control the light in the room 100%. If there's any light source in your room you will *hate* this screen's reflectivity.5.) This is how you get someone who has been a 28 year customer to quit you. I bought my first Samsung at 15 and I'm 43. I have always owned a Samsung since. I HATE this TV. I should have returned it but I kept telling myself, no, they'll fix this in an update. LOL. No, no they won't!They shipped this and there's no excuse. You will *HAVE* to buy a Chromecast 4K or Apple TV to make this thing even remotely useful to you.
SAMSUNG 55-Inch Class Neo QLED 4K QN95B Series Mini LED Quantum HDR 32x, Dolby Atmos, Object Tracking Sound+, Anti-Glare Screen, Smart TV with Alexa Built-In (QN55QN95BAFXZA, 2022 Model)
Good, Speedy Service. Setting up this TV was stressful - from minuscule instructions that can't be read without a microscope to endless do-loops trying to get the thing to work. The actual TV and stand are quite heavy (which I expected based on the product information) and the TV has to be laid on a flat surface, screen down, to install the mounting hardware. This is definitely a two-person job. Once set up, though, the picture quality is very good and there is a lot of depth to the image. I have my TV on the included stand, but I used the wall mounting cable and put the one connect box on a shelf under the TV for easy access - I wish this option had been explained in the instructions. The remote takes a lot of getting used to, and navigation is cumbersome - but I'm sure it's because I'm on the steep end of the learning curve. This is my very first flat screen TV, and I feel like I now have a home cinema!
Just bad and frustrating on many levels. The media could not be loaded. Audio issues....desyncs all the time. This makes the TV close to unusable. Picture is good, but it doesn't matter when the audio is a full second out of sync. I've tried everything to fix it.Sometimes the audio doesn't work at all, sometimes it glitches out, but most often it's just so out of sync with the video that I'd rather just watch it on my phone.Samsungs smart TV interface constantly surprises me with how terrible it can be. It is the least intuitive most frustrating garbage, and I've truly grown to hate it after spending a year with the very expensive piece of trash bolted to my wall.At least once a week I consciously regret spending this much money on something that frustrates me so much.
A great TV, but it seems to be missing a couple of the features. Fist of all, the TV has a wonderful picture and is easy to use. The feature of putting all of the electronics and connections in an external box is genius. Only one cable to run through the wall. There is one feature that I am loooking for that I am not finding. The ability to have them internal sound and sound bar work at the same time.
Thank goodness for warranty. Within 2 day of receiving the TV I was experiencing issues with it turning off, distorted choppy sounds and jumpy picture. The customer service rep was very informative and helpful. He was able to point me in the right direction to get a in-home service appointment through the manufacture warranty. Within a week, I had a Samsung certified repair tech on sight to replace some internal components and two months in thus far no additional issues have emerged. Overall, the TV is pretty dope. The remote is truly an all-in-one. The interface took some getting use to but nothing major.
Samsung QN95 Series is great. This is the second Samsung QN95 Series TV I have purchased. The first was the 65 inch (2018) model. I really like the One Connect Box system because there is only one cable running from the TV to the One Connect Box. I personally don't like having a multitude of cables hanging down the wall from the TV. You then connect additional items, such as HD DVD Player, Amazon Fire Stick 4K, etc., to the One Connect Box. I believe there are 4 HDMI connections on the One Connect Box. I hook the One Connect box to my AV Receiver, which provides even more room for adding additional optional equipment. It does take two men to wall mount this TV. Simply because of the size. The recommended Samsung Wall Mount is available online for around 85.00. The picture quality is outstanding! Especially when viewing 4K UHD content, which more and more Streaming Services are offering. There're some great You Tube videos out that show how to 'tweak' the picture, in the various TV settings options, to make the picture really POP out at you! The TV's refresh rate is 120Hz which is great! Less blurring when shows having stuff panning across the TV. You can buy cheaper TVs, but you don't get the quality picture the higher end TVs, like this TV, provide. You can also buy more expensive TVs, like 8K, but why? They don't even produce content in 8K yet! I haven't had an issue with the 2018 model I bought and I hope this 2022 model is just as reliable. Time will tell!. I highly recommend this TV if you want the most bang for your buck! I actually purchased this 75 inch for less than what I paid for my 2018 65 inch because I bought it over the Holidays on Special Pricing! YES, I recommend this TV.
Great TV. Sound needs work. Sound is distorted. Speakers vibrate the chassis, and this is mentioned everywhere online.
Do not Buy this Unit. I never write reviews, but had to voice this one.I've been a loyal Samsung customer for over 10 years now. Even have the Samsung Phone. But I can't tell you how frustrated I am with this Television. Before I ordered this 85" 2022 85" model, I telephone Samsung directly to verify the One Connect Cable length. I have a 65" 2019 One Connect unit on my wall now, so wanted to confirm what length that new cable is. I was told 16 feet. I even confirmed this with the Samsung representative three times before letting him off the phone.Received the TV this morning, unboxed the One Connect Cable, and it's a little over 6 feet, not 16 feet! My 2019 One Connect Cable is approximately 16 feet long! My entertainment cabinet is not but about 6 feet from the wall Television location, but a 6 foot cable will not reach both the TV and the One Connect Box.I call Samsung again, thinking they will try and sell me a new longer cable. Was put on hold by the same person some three times and when he finally got back to me I was told "There is no longer cable for the 2022 model", period! All I could do is return the TV!What the heck? This is what I get for being a loyal Samsung customer? No more Samsung for me! This is utter rubbish, and yes, I have toned down my language because what I would like to say will never get published here.Shame on you Samsung!!!!!!!!
SAMSUNG QN65QN85CA 65 Inch Neo QLED 4K Smart TV Bundle with 1 YR CPS Enhanced Protection Pack (2023 Model)
Not OLED but pretty close. Great alternative to OLED for the price, Dolby works great with Bose Smartbar 600, lots of options for system set up. Blacks are good and faster refresh rate is noticeable. Connectivity with devices is seamless. Beat expectations.
It came bend in the package. The TV was bent when I opened the packaging.
Terrible software. Bought this TV from another retailer based on the picture quality. Great picture but the software on the TV is terrible. Now that I've had it a few days and have had a chance to play with it I regret my purchase. For the price you are paying the software should be fully customizable. Would not recommend.
SAMSUNG 65-Inch Class Neo QLED 4K QN85CD Series Neo Quantum HDR, Dolby Atmos, Smart TV with Alexa Built-in (QN65QN85CDFXZA, 2023 Model)
SAMSUNG 85-Inch Class Neo QLED 4K QN85B Series Mini LED Quantum HDR 24x Smart TV with Alexa Built-in (QN85QN85BAFXZA, 2022 Model) (Renewed)
Awesome TV. My delivery was a few days late but the delivery driver went out of his way to ensure I was satisfied and everything worked perfectly. Turned the TV on and was blown away by the picture quality. The sound was much better than other Samsung TVs I have owned. I have always ordered Samsung and this TV did not dissapoint. Still setting up and testing. Thank you for offering this TV at this price point.
Came with generic box, dent, and scratches. Mine was delivered in a regular box, had multiples scratches on the screen and a nasty dent, with frame paint peeled off, on the lower right corner. Not cool. I know it's renewed but wasnt expecting such a crappy item.
Arrived in brand new condition. Item was at a discounted price. Just the item was still in original packaging. Box hadn't ever been opened. Arrived on time and safely shipped. Definitely beats my expectations and it was worth every penny. A bit scary spending so much money on a seller that wasn't Amazon but it was just as easy and perfect as a normal purchase.
This TV was sold as "Renewed" but it was obvious the box had never been opened. Great TV at a super price! Sold by Amazon as "Renewed" but the box was clearly never opened. All packaging was as new. This is a great TV at a very awesome price as long as you're willing to wait a few extra day for freight to deliver from California.
Arived with a huge crack in it.
Broken. Broken and blocks reviews do not bother unless you want to be ripped off and left with crap.
Awesome. Awesome TV so far. Came in perfect packaging. Watch out if needs to be taken into tight spaces with the packaging. Struggled to take it into my basement.
SAMSUNG 43-Inch Class QLED Q60A Series - 4K UHD Dual LED Quantum HDR Smart TV with Alexa Built-in (QN43Q60AAFXZA, 2021 Model)
This was a great step up for us! Extremely pleased and excited! (Edit added at bottom) + NEW EDIT. We were planning on getting a new TV last year for Christmas but put it off and when I saw this on sale this year I was not going to let the opportunity slide by to get it. My older parents (70s) have one and every time we were over to visit we saw the beautiful picture on this. (I would like to add that if my parents can work this TV okay it shouldn't be a issue for older people.)The setup was pretty easy with my phone and QR code. Took about 2 minutes maybe total and we were up and going. At first my receiver didn't want to play the sound but it was a easy fix of snugging the HDMI cord in back. With multiple devices running into the receiver I was very happy to see that each one fired up great. Xbox and PS looked crisp, laptop with RDR2 looked beautiful - almost photo realistic.I can't comment too much on the native sound from it besides from being at the parents. It does seem to have a nice quality to it over there. They have a large living room and while it isn't hooked to a sound bar it does a good job (my dad is a little hard of hearing so he turns it up sometimes).I have noticed with my Yamaha receiver that the sound quality seems better (the wife agrees). We have Polk tower speakers and a sub in the living room and with this TV it just feels better to listen too.The legs with it are pretty sturdy. We have it on them temporarily until I have someone assist mounting it to the stand. The location of the connections in the back is convenient and the power plug connection is opposite side of the back. Not much to say there - should be easy enough to keep them hidden if you want the neat look (I do lol). The remote has a solar panel on the back! This is genius! Absolutely a very cool feature! No batteries to replace is great! It came preloaded with some apps like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and a few more along those lines. I do not think it will let me delete the ones we won't use that were preloaded. Searching for and installing apps is easy and the TV has a lot of space to install them on.Very, very nice TV - this is a step up from our 3 year old TCL Roku TV. Price was right when we got it on sale. And it got here in time for the Big-10 Championship on Saturday! Sorry Buckeye fans you'll have to sit this one out. (Sorry I had to add that lol)EDIT: If you plan on mounting this to a stand or wall make sure you get the proper bolts for it. My understanding is M8 from what I have read. Imagine my surprise to find out the same bolts I have used for years (at least 6 years and 2 TVs, different brands, both fit like a glove) with the same standing mount and then finding out they will not fit. I would recommend when you go to hardware store to get a size smaller and a size up just in case. The holes on the TV are decently deep so compensate with the bolt length and if your using spacers also don't forget extra for those also.Lastly, the picture is really amazing! We have watched Forest Gump (the darks are beautiful, everything was so crisp), Terrifier 2 (again the colors were amazing, looks great for a low budget horror film), and a few episodes of Planet Earth (this by far was almost mind blowing how amazing it looks).General watching of TV is near perfect. Who would have guessed Wheel of Fortune could look so good lol.EDIT 2: (06.01.23) The remote is ABSOLUTELY GLORIOUS! I misplaced my Fire TV dongle remote and had been using my smartphone as a remote for it. UNTIL 2 MINUTES AGO! The remote works with the Fire dongle!!! Absolutely spanking fantastic! I have not messed with the multi screen view yet but when I finally do I will be back to rant about that probably. On a side note I had the pleasure of watching Operation Wolf Hunting on the tv - it just makes everything look so amazing! Mad Max: Fury Road (black and white version) - crisp and sharp as a chef's knife. The Villainess, Kung Fu Killer, literally every action kung fu movie looks so vivid - even the older Jackie Chan flicks like Police Story and Fantasy Mission Force (which is actually VHS and yes I do have a combo player hooked up and no issues at all) - everything is solid. I love this TV. If I was not married already I might have married this TV.
Ultra thin and excellent picture. I purchased this Samsung to upgrade our small family room's media setup. The value for the price is excellent.I have read several reviews for TV with a wide variety of opinions on it. Seems like a lot of them are by customers looking for elite quality products at lower end price and are disappointed that it didn't meet expectations. In my opinion this is a quality product.First let's talk about the TV itself. The manufacturers box was delivered with minimal denting to the box. Obviously with a 50 inch flat panel it's difficult to find a shipping box for it so I was prepared for any normal shipping bumps and bruises. The package itself was light enough that my 8 yr old could bring it in with zero issues. Removing the TV from the box and accompanying Styrofoam, I was shocked by how thin it was. You could mount this on the wall and it would be on par with hanging pucture frames. The initial setup was fast and easy. Plug in the power, use the three HDMI spots to hook up your devices and let the setup search for channels. I chose to hardwire mine to my home network using an unmanaged switch because we have a lot of wifi devices running in the house and the demand on the network isn't getting any lower. I don't typically gush over remotes but I will this time. It's small light weight and features a rechargeable battery using solar power or charging port. That's right I said solar, flip this thing over in the light and let it do its thing. It also can be used to control other devices with no problem. There is a bit of a learning curve on using it but it can be quickly mastered. The picture quality is insane. I bought a couple of 4k HDMI cables to try out just how clear the picture could be. During football season I watched a few games on high definition channels and the quality was almost to good and when they switched to high-def cameras during the broadcast it seemed like I was playing a game. I streamed several NHL hockey games and it was like attending a game. I haven't purchased a 4K UHD bluray player yet so I used my Xbox one to try out how it works as 4k player. I had ordered each Star Wars movie in 4k to try them out. The quality was so good it began to approach the level of looking fake. The sharpness and detail during space scenes made it look like models in a special effects shot. In close ups you can actually see the slightest scar or blemish on an actors face. Almost makes you want to lower the quality just to suspend disbelief for a movie. As far as using it for gaming again it just shines. Switching from a 10 year old flat panel to the Samsung 50 inch was like the difference between the original NES and Playstation 5. Playing my sports game was almost like a real broadcast. My kids played Call of Duty WWII and the storming of Omaha Beach was like watching Saving Private Ryan's opening sequence. Almost no lag and the backgrounds were excellent. It's a great gaming experience.Odds and ends: I paired a soundbar with it via Bluetooth and had no problems and great sound. The remote even automatically programed itself to control the speaker. There are some different settings that work with to change your viewing experience but I haven't dived into them fully. The smart TV apps seem to work flawlessly when linked to my Netflix and Amazon prime accounts but I use another device for those as well so haven't tested them fully. All in all if you are looking for a mid-teir TV this fits the bill in every way. If you are a serious videophile or audiophile than this will probably be solid but not what you are looking for. For your 2nd, third, or even fourth setup in your home it will do the job nicely.
This was a factory sealed (2021) model....does not have all the bells and whistles but gets the job done. Very pleased with picture and I would say the crisp sound with these small speakers was a great suprise (better than expected) not all owners agree, but very clear for an older person who does not hear bass well. All in all would recomend.
