China approves 5G licenses for commercial use, India will start trial within 100 days

Work has started on 5G networks worldwide. It has also started service in the few countries with the US. In India too, the exercise of introduction of the 5G service is accelerating. Meanwhile, the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has approved 5G licenses for business use. MIIT minister Miao Wei said that China welcomes foreign companies to build the country’s 5G market.

Chinese company Huawei Technologies has asked India to join the development of 5G technology in the country. Huaweve India’s chief executive J. Chen said that the policy and standards for the industry and India will provide security benefits. It is time for the telecom department to make this decision. Huawei has answered all questions asked by the Telecom Department (DoT). 5G trial begins in India

Union Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that our first goal is to start 5G trials in the country within 100 days. He said that the government is committed to the auction of 5G spectrum this year. Many radio frequencies will also be auctioned. TRAI has also sent a recommendation of about 8,644 MHz Telecom Frequency auction including 5G. It is estimated to get around 5 lakh crore rupees. Also, plans to build 5 lakh WiFi hotspots across the country will also be working faster.
